Go to FEMA.gov to find out more information about Public Assistance programs.
So the FEMA Public Assistance Program is a grant reimbursement program that where eligible cities
and counties and state and PMPs have the opportunity to apply for public assistance
to receive grant funding for reimbursement for their storm damage or incident related damages.
We cover emergency work which would be considered your emergency protective measures,
the actual response to the event as well as debris operations. That's your emergency work,
that is all your permanent work, your roads, your bridges, your buildings, your supplies, utilities.
We look at critical facilities that would that's been damaged for for rapid replacement.
Buildings, municipal buildings, courthouses, police departments, fire departments,
rescue organizations. We look at your water treatment plants. We consider all your utilities
for either overhead or underground, water, sewer, libraries, anything of public interest
that you know would be considered either educational or governmental entities.
The request for public assistance is submitted through the state to FEMA.
They then become FEMA's public assistance customers. We will send out a program delivery manager.
They will set up several meetings, an exploratory call, recovery scoping meeting call,
where they'll actually meet with the applicants to get more specifics on their damages.
And we've assembled a very professional workforce and we're ready to get the job done.
