You know, defending the truth is a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it.
You know, people think they can just walk around and have unsupervised conversations and access any information.
It's craziness, I tell ya.
But, we're here with the Thought Crimes Unit to put a stop to all that.
So I've been in the Thought Crimes Unit for a couple years now, and I've seen some pretty crazy stuff.
Just the other day, I was busting this guy who had a Washington Redskins choice,
and he had a post that was marked as false information on Facebook.
Then, I walk in there, and his son's doing all these finger guns, and we had to tackle the kid.
Crazy times we live in.
Some people think that they should just get off scot-free or be able to have their own ideas.
Not me. People like that deserve to be in jail.
Unit 230, we've got a Code 1984 white male who has yet to renounce his privilege on social media.
Copy that, we're on our way.
You know, these things happen from time to time, but this guy in particular, I don't trust him.
Checked out his Facebook page, and he didn't even post a black square.
All he posted was a back the blue campaign. What an animal.
Then, his neighbors reported that he didn't even wear two masks when he went to the grocery store.
What kind of sick guy is this?
So, we're just gonna go check it out, make sure everything's on the up and up.
We're just gonna check it out. Real quick.
Thought Crimes Unit 230, open up. I know you're in there.
I know you're in there.
It's Detective Witt with the Thought Crimes Unit. May I come in? Thank you.
Yes, what's going on?
I could ask the same question to you, so what are you doing in here?
Is there anything I should be aware of in this apartment?
I don't know. No, of course not. I'm just minding my own business.
Yeah, well, we'll see about that.
Nothing to be worried about, huh?
Then what's this?
I can explain that.
Hey, you get back in.
We found out where he is. We're getting out of here.
After apprehending this scumbag, we went through his apartment and started searching.
And let's just say it's not looking good for this guy.
We found a lot of illicit material. Stuff that our computers didn't even pick up.
Things that our fact checkers don't approve of.
This man's in a world of hoit.
He's going away for a while to a re-education camp.
Man, I love this job.
Cops is filmed on location with the men, women, and non-binary persons of law enforcement.
All suspects are guilty as charged in the court of public opinion.
Am I going to find anything illicit in here?
No.
You ready to sniff out the bad people?
You ready, huh? Are you ready to kill?
It's not mandatory, but the only reason why you wouldn't do it...
Man, spit in my face.
I'm sorry.
And his neighbors reported that he didn't even wear two masks to the grocery store when he left his place.
There's a cop behind me, actually.
Is there?
Yep.
I'd really appreciate your support.
