Oh Lord, I lift my eyes to the heavens and wonder, do you hear my voice?
In this world of chaos, I fear that I may lose my way without even realizing it.
Your words still echo in my soul.
Does the enemy not come to steal, kill, and destroy?
But Lord, I see that the enemy is not only outside, it is creeping into the midst of
your flock.
There are words spoken in your name, yet they do not come from you.
There are teachings that are sweet and pleasing to the ear, but when I reflect deeply, they
do not lead me to your holy will.
Instead, they merely comfort me in my weakness.
They say that truth can change, that what you once declared is now different.
They say that love means accepting everything, that there should be no boundaries, no laws.
But Lord, I remember your words, enter through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and
broad is the road that leads to destruction.
If the path I walk is too easy, is it truly your path?
Almighty Lord, I do not dare to presume that I am always right.
I know my mind is limited, easily swayed by the world's enticing words.
But I do not want to lose you, nor do I want to stray from the light of truth.
Please help me recognize the deception hidden within things that appear good.
Grant me a simple heart, one that listens to your voice and does not go astray.
Do you hear me, Lord?
I truly need a sign from you to know that I am on the right path.
Sometimes, I feel alone as I try to hold firm to my faith amid the changing winds.
But if the world hates me, perhaps it is because they hated you first.
Help me stand strong, even when I am misunderstood and rejected.
For what I seek is not the approval of men, but the loving gaze of my Lord.
O Lord, keep me in your truth.
Do not let me be carried away by what is easy, but teach me to yearn for what belongs to
you.
Show me how to love as you do, a love that does not compromise with wickedness, but remains
steadfast in truth.
Though the world may change, I believe your word endures forever.
Lord Jesus, I trust in you.
O Lord, keep me steadfast in faith.
O Lord, I know that the path of following you is not always smooth.
You have said, in this world you will have trouble, but take heart.
I have overcome the world.
But Lord, there are moments when I feel weary.
The storms of life, the whispers of slander, the sweet temptations of the world, all of
them seem to pull me away from you.
Do you hear my voice, Lord?
I truly need a sign from you to know that I am walking the right path.
The world surrounds me with easy promises, telling me that I don't need to fight, that
I don't need to hold on to the truth, that I can live as they do and still keep my faith.
But I remember your words.
Anyone who hears my words and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his
house on the rock.
If I do not build my foundation on your word, how can I stand firm when trials come?
O Lord, I know that what belongs to you is not easy to grasp, yet it is a treasure no
one can take away.
Please do not let me waver before the deceitful voices of this world.
Help me see what is fleeting and what is merely an illusion.
The world tells me that I am missing out on what is good, but I know that nothing is more
precious than the peace found in you.
If I lose everything but still have you, have I truly lost anything?
If I gain the whole world but lose my soul, what have I truly gained?
Almighty Lord, I know that I am not perfect, but I hope that you will always be by my side,
guiding me on this journey.
If I stumble, please do not let me stray far from you.
No matter how fierce the storms may be, keep me standing firm upon the rock that is you.
For I believe that only in you can I find eternal life.
Lord Jesus, I trust in you.
O Lord, teach me to love according to your truth.
O Lord, the world is teaching me that love means not judging, accepting everything, and
staying silent even in the face of wrongdoing.
They say I must open my heart, that my faith should not be rigid, that love means agreeing
with others.
But Lord, is that the love you have taught me?
Have you ever taught me that love is compromising with evil?
What is true love, Lord?
I remember your words, light cannot walk with darkness.
If I love someone, should I not lead them to the truth?
If I see my brother going astray and remain silent, have I truly loved him?
But Lord, speaking the truth in this world is not easy.
When I try to uphold what is right, they call me stubborn.
When I refuse to accept what is wrong, they say I lack compassion.
They want me to believe that I can love without discerning right from wrong.
But how can there be love without truth?
You have taught me that love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth.
So how can love be agreeing with what goes against your will?
How can love be ignoring sin just to keep peace with others?
I know you love me, but yours is not a love of indulgence.
You love me enough to correct me, to call me back when I go astray.
You love me not with silence, but with truth and sacrifice.
Oh Lord, I do not want a love that is distorted by the world's sweet lies.
I do not want to live in false tolerance that in reality rebels against you.
But Lord, please grant me wisdom to love as you will, to uphold the truth while speaking
it with kindness.
Help me not to fear when I must stand for what is right.
Teach me to love as you love.
To love with truth, to love with mercy, but never to love according to the world's deception.
Lord Jesus, teach me to love as you do.
Oh Lord, keep me in your unchanging truth.
Oh Lord, I see the world changing every day.
What was once considered wrong is now praised as right.
What was once sacred is now deemed outdated.
People say that times have changed, that I must change too, that your law needs to be
updated to fit modern humanity.
But oh Lord, how can that be true?
Did you not say, heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away?
I know that mankind is ever changing.
My own heart has been weak before, swayed by words that sounded pleasing.
There were moments when I wondered, is it really true, Lord, that your law must remain
the same even as the world changes?
Is it really true that right is still right, and wrong is still wrong, no matter how much
time has passed?
But then I realized, oh Lord, if truth could be changed, then how could it still be true?
If your law could be bent to fit human desires, then it would no longer be your law.
It would be nothing more than a mirror reflecting the world's cravings.
You have declared, I am the Lord, I do not change.
If you do not change, then how could your word change?
I now understand that your law is not a burden, but a guiding light, a safeguard protecting
me from the traps of the flesh.
If I live by my own will, chasing after the demands of this world, I will surely be lost.
But if I build my life upon your word, I will not be swept away.
Oh Lord, help me stand firm in faith, no matter how the world may change.
Give me a heart that obeys, that loves your law, not seeking to bend it to my will, but
allowing myself to be shaped by your truth.
And if I falter, Lord, lift me up.
If I grow uncertain, remind me that your word is eternal life.
Oh Lord, keep me always in your truth.
Oh Lord, preserve your church in truth.
Oh Lord, I know that your church is a sacred work, built upon a solid rock.
You have promised that the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Yet Lord, there are moments when my heart is troubled.
I see what is happening, the subtle yet profound changes, the words spoken in the name of love
but distorted from truth.
People do not openly deny you, but they alter your teachings, gradually leading them away
from truth while believing they are still serving you.
Do you hear my cry, Lord?
Am I worrying too much?
But deep within me, there is unrest.
They do not come with swords to attack the church, but with sweet words and arguments
that seem full of mercy.
They do not seek to erase your word, but they interpret it in ways that make people comfortable,
no longer reminded of sin, no longer called to conversion, no longer bearing the cross
that each one must carry.
They desire a church that no longer speaks truth, a church that only consoles but does
not correct, that welcomes but does not transform.
Oh Lord, I remember your words.
Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous
wolves.
Lord, how can I discern your voice from the voice of deception?
How can I distinguish true mercy from misguided tolerance?
If the deceivers came from outside, perhaps I could recognize them easily.
But when they stand within the church itself, clothed as sheep, yet preaching what is not
from you, how can I not be troubled?
Lord, grant me the light of your Holy Spirit, so that I may always recognize truth.
Keep my heart pure, so that I may not be swayed by the world's enticing words.
May your church remain faithful to your teachings, unmoved by fleeting trends, never seeking
to please man at the cost of forsaking your holiness.
Oh Lord, protect your church.
Guard all those who strive to live in truth.
Help me stand firm, no matter how the world may change.
You are the good shepherd.
Do not let me go astray.
Oh Lord, keep me from the subtle traps.
Oh Lord, I hear the voices echoing everywhere.
The church must change.
The church must adapt to the times.
They claim that your teachings are outdated, that people today cannot live by the old commandments.
They seek to alter your laws to fit modern thinking, so that people no longer feel discomfort
when confronted with sin or repentance.
But Lord, have you changed?
Has your word lost its value?
You have declared, heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
The world may shift and people may forget the truth, but you remain the living God,
the way, the truth, and the life.
If the church turns away from your word to appease the world, is it still truly your church?
Oh Lord, I do not want a church shaped by human desires.
I do not seek an easy faith, one without the cross, without sacrifice.
If everything is accepted, if nothing is called sin, if there is no longer right or wrong,
then how can I walk the narrow path you have shown me?
If salt loses its flavor, how can it be made salty again, Lord?
Do you hear me, Lord?
I truly need a sign from you to know that I am on the right path.
The world is filled with eloquent words, broad roads,
and enticing promises of a progressive and open church.
But I do not wish for progress in that way.
I only desire to draw closer to you.
Show me what belongs to you and what is a hidden snare leading me away from you.
Oh Lord, keep me steadfast in truth.
Do not let me be swept away by the shifting tides of the world
and forget that you alone are the firm foundation.
I trust that you will never abandon me and I never want to stray from you.
Oh Lord, help me remain faithful to the end.
Oh Lord, there are days when I feel weary.
I walk through this world and hear the mockery, see the looks of contempt.
They say I am foolish, that I cling to an outdated faith,
that I should open my eyes and see how the world is changing.
At times, Lord, I wonder if I am on the wrong path.
Am I being too rigid?
Am I walking this journey alone?
But then you remind me, he who endures to the end will be saved.
Have I not known this all along, Lord?
You yourself declared, if the world hates you, know that it has hated me before you.
If I truly belong to you, how could the world ever embrace me?
Oh Lord, I do not ask you to take away these trials, but grant me the strength to persevere.
I do not wish to be one who gives up along the way,
nor do I want to lose the reward you have promised.
Yet I am weak, Lord.
When the storms rage, when I am misunderstood, when doubt weighs heavy on my heart,
please hold my hand and remind me that the glory you have prepared for me is eternal.
Do you hear me, Lord?
I truly need a sign from you to know that I am walking the right path.
Though the road is rough, though the world seeks to shake me, grant me a steadfast heart.
For I know that at the end of this journey, you are waiting with open arms.
Oh Lord, uphold me in days of trial.
Let me remember that nothing in this world can compare to the eternal reward you have promised.
I vow to endure to the end, for I know that those who remain faithful to you
will never be put to shame.
