This large and unique home was designed and built in 1981 as a retirement residence for a local couple.
In September 1998, the home and property were sold to an organization known as Halleluja Acres.
Hallelujah Acres was founded in 1992 by an American Pastor, who found out he had Colon cancer in 1972 and brought himself to a state of wellness by changing his diet to raw fruits and vegetables, plus drinking lots of fresh carrot juice.
In 1998 Hallelujah Acres opened a second headquarters in Canada to serve its growing market north of the border. This building served as the headquarters and was run by a woman named Judy, who passed away in 2019.
Hey what's up guys. This house behind me, some of you guys might recognize it
if you're from Ontario, Canada and you've driven up and down this highway.
You've probably driven by it and wondered, wow what the heck's up with that house?
Well I'm about to show you because we're here we're going to check it out. So
let's take a look around the outside first and then we're going to head on in.
So yeah, super interesting from the exterior.
Still got like some landscaping and somebody's cutting the grass
taking care of the place but the inside is totally empty
as you'll see in a minute. Actually how about I send my drone up we'll do
some drone footage of the outside and then we'll go inside.
All right see you guys in a minute. This large and unique home
was designed and built in 1981 as a retirement residence for W. Bev
and Dorothy Schuldyce. In September 1998 the home and property were sold to an
organization known as Hallelujah Acres.
Hallelujah Acres was founded in 1992 by an American pastor who had found out he
had colon cancer in 1972. He brought himself to a state of
wellness by changing his diet to raw fruits and vegetables plus drinking
lots of fresh carrot juice. In 1998 Hallelujah Acres opened a second
headquarters in Canada to serve its growing market north of the
border. This building served as the headquarters
and was run by a woman named Judy. Judy passed away in 2019.
What's up guys? No mirrors inside so that's all you guys get.
I'll show you guys this here. This is I'm guessing like the main
entrance to the main door but it's locked and I didn't even see where this
door was from the inside. I'll have to find where that door is
because I didn't see that door when I was inside.
Where the heck would this have come from? Oh okay I see.
All right never mind. I figured it out guys.
All right here we go guys. This shouldn't be too long of a video
because the place isn't actually that big.
Interesting though eh? Nice big round room here. Wow.
Fireplace right in the center. Yeah wow this is a nice room.
I wonder if anybody's ever lived here. I'm gonna have to look this up.
I don't know much about the history of this place guys.
We're gonna have to do a little bit of digging when I get home
before I post this video and see what I can help you guys with to understand
just what the heck's going on around here guys.
Hi. All right looks like there's definitely a basement.
We'll go down there in a bit. What's this room?
Guessing this is one of the bedrooms. It's a weird shape of a floor there.
Huh. All right. Very echoey in here guys. Echoey.
Okay a lot of water damage on the floor here.
But I don't really see anywhere where water would be leaking in.
What do we got over here? Stone wall with an arched door entry.
And bedrooms to the left and right.
I wonder if you'd have to have custom-made beds to fit in these round rooms.
Very echoey guys. Another bedroom.
Totally. And then there's a bathroom right here.
Your shower right there. I wonder what it would be like
living in a round house. Would it be like disorienting to be
always in a round house and round rooms?
It's a nice room eh? Spider webs everywhere.
And then here you've got some kind of a intercom right here.
Radio slash intercom. And then this.
Oh this is a. Okay. Oh cool.
So this is an 8-track player. And this would be a record player.
There we go. There you go.
So this is your in-wall entertainment center guys.
8-track player. AM FM radio plus intercom.
And your record player. And a bell.
There you go. Ding ding.
All right. Unique features here.
These little pillars. They're a little bit bent. They don't seem straight.
This is your main door in the back.
And I'm going to guess this is the kitchen right here.
And then there's a walk-in cooler here. Fridge.
You've got a cooling unit up top to keep things cold.
So that's almost like your refrigerator.
And then you'd have your stove and all the other stuff here.
So you've got a round kitchen. You've got a round room.
You've got round bedrooms. Everything's round guys.
Fireplace. And then this is the front door right here.
All right. So let's go check out the basement.
All right. Let's start in this room I guess.
Everything's just white and empty guys.
I don't know what to say because everything's just plain.
We got some painting murals on the walls here.
Isn't this nice guys? Look at that.
Wow. There's so many rooms.
Another bathroom. This is the exact same as the upstairs.
Like the exact same layout.
There's so many rooms. It's crazy how many rooms there are.
Look at this guys. Look at this. We can come up on the roof guys.
This is interesting. It's like a little ramp.
So there you have it guys. That's it.
That's what this house looks like on the inside.
I've driven by this house a lot of times as I'm sure
many of you guys if you're watching from Ontario have also driven by this place and wondered
what the heck's up with this house. Well now we know what the heck's up with this house.
So thanks for watching. I'm going to take some pictures and I'm going to move on.
So that's it guys. You guys know what to do. Do me a favour.
