[Music] in today's video we're exploring what was at one time the most expensive mansion in all of canada listed at nearly 40 million dollars this now abandoned mansion comes with its own built-in entirely self-sufficient emergency bunker the mansion which was built and lived in by a canadian real estate developer who made his fortune building suburban homes office towers and shopping malls is a 28 000 square foot french-inspired chateau with 14 washrooms 10 bedrooms 7 wood burning fireplaces a 50-foot indoor pool and did i mention the bunker this massive mansion has been visited by prime ministers hollywood royalty held extravagant parties and has been featured in several movies and television shows join me as i explore and guide you through this massive abandoned 40 million dollar mansion [Music] crazy so many rooms so many doors nowhere to look holy crap look at this hey wow okay we'll go upstairs after let's make our way around here obviously this is a kitchen okay i'm shooting this one guys in uh 60 frames per second full 4k so you are gonna get a little bit of that flickering where it's darker in case you're wondering all right i do have my loom cube blasted as high as it will go [Applause] looks like this might be the garage right here let's see yeah four car garage right here guys we have power no no power guys got a set of back stairs there's a staircase we'll cover the whole main floor first and then we'll head over around to the different rooms there's an elevator holy crap okay back through the kitchen what's in here another side to the elevator right here kind of sink a small wine rack it's just a small room here guys okay so head back through the foyer here there's two bathrooms right there [Applause] ah got clubfoot upstairs it i know yeah all right we gotta get a library here guys office a library or study whatever you want to call it is that 60 frames per second distracting to you guys here i'm going to turn that off and bring it down to 30 one sec there's that better it's a little bit better it's not so bad 30 frames per second i've gone down to 30 from 60 so you guys don't get mad at me last thing i wanted you guys to be mad at me that's a nice room this is interesting right here [Applause] wow it's like a it's like a fancy kind of a french decorated huh all right we got a little bit of water damage right here down the floor here and then there is a door here but it's locked so we can't see what's in here guys we're not allowed to see what's in here because it's locked this is a really cool room wow all right go down to the basement a little while [Music] all right yeah jamie was right there is no flow to this house got some kind of a fireplace here this is a really weird place there's other rooms to get to but i can't figure out how to get to them probably through the basement we've got some entertainment equipment here [Music] a bunch of phones a huge massive flat screen tv right here all right so i'm kind of bored with this part of the house gotta find a way to move on now somewhere else okay guys we're gonna get into the pool room from outside here that's nice so so sincere got in here from the upstairs because it's locked from the main floor it's dark it's actually great for my pictures yeah you need more lighting i will eventually it's okay for right now oh yeah oh look at that yeah it doesn't look too dirty either looks okay i've seen worse i've probably swimming worse [Laughter] look at this guys this is super cool this is i've never seen anything like this look how deep it goes wow yeah it's either like a circulation tub central air diffuser surrounding air diffuser yeah i think it's for cold yeah that is crazy how deep that goes yeah i've never seen a wooden spiral staircase before that's really cool [Applause] okay so that covers most of the main floor and the pool so now we're going to do upstairs and then we'll do the basement last the reason why i'm going to do the basement last guys is because there's a bunker in the basement like a safety emergency bunker so we're going to go find that last because it's probably going to be one of the coolest things here look at this foyer wow okay we're in a bedroom here you can see all the vines on the wall that are outside [Applause] there's a bathroom here fancy shower right there that's nice i feel like this place is going to be demolished judging by the looks of things and the outside i think they're going to demolish this house i think [Music] we got here [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] watch this guys ready look at this [Music] [Applause] okay guys here we go this looks like a like a master bedroom right here or something nope it's not a master bedroom well i think it might be it's a master bedroom with lots of other rooms oh look at the tub look at this guys it's a fancy tub right there wow there's your bidet and your toilet right there arched doorway here guys and i'm guessing that there's an elevator over here somewhere or maybe not nope okay all right so this bedroom's got a nice fireplace and it's a real fireplace too it's not a fake fireplace that's pretty nice eh there's a room here with a bunch of mirrors in it guys hey what's up guys that's a big one hey look at that [Applause] nothing in the dra in the covers in the closet guys nothing in the closet guys let's see what's going on in here all right and then here's our walk-in closet all kinds of space for things and clothes and shoes and coats and stuff and then you can go right from the bedroom to the pool but there's two other rooms here it's got a small room here and then here's where you store your fur coats in the cedar room okay and then go through here to the pool guys check it out okay so now we've done this side of the house it's not as big of a house as i thought it was gonna be oh we got a different uh room here another bathroom just a small single toilet here guys with the sink and quite the fancy shower with some marble see there you go okay i think that's gonna cover off the top floor oh no there's another upstairs way over here let's go take a look down here where we go so yeah there's this is where the elevator goes right here holy crap there's a whole other wing over there oh man guys the house is as big as i thought it was gonna be okay i guess we're going over here now to this side of the house and they didn't know that there wasn't this side of the house it's pretty plain though not much to see here guys yeah this is pretty plain jane for such a nice house so let's not dwell on this part of the house because there's not much to see okay where does this go does this go to a whole other side of the main floor that i didn't see oh no i was here i saw this okay yeah yeah i saw it okay well let's go to the basement then since we're here [Music] are those happy tissues or sad tissues okay no now guys like i said in the basement is where there's a bunker okay so we have another closet for the coats here's your wine cellar it's a pretty cheap wine cellar if you ask me for such a nice house it's a pretty cheap wine cellar okay so guys we gotta find we gotta find the bunker okay gotta find the bunker there's a walk-in fridge right here laundry room pretty old washer and dryer i think they don't look very modern walk-in fridge don't go in and get stuck guys because this will close behind you and then you're stuck [Music] okay so i think the bunker's in here but we're gonna go this way first and we're gonna find the bunker last okay because that's where i think it is here's your furnace room your electric room yeah okay guys here we go make our way around here there's a giant safe right here and then here there's a big rec room in the bar look at the bar that's a nice bar eh it's a nice room and then we got another fireplace there's lots of fireplaces in this house oh my god there's so many rooms let's back here we got a change room i'll bet you yeah this is gonna be for the pool what's up guys we've got change rooms here multiple change rooms there's going to be a sauna back here yep here's your sauna your bucket for dumping water on it to make it nice and hot in the sauna that's nice hey shower bathroom it's old down here what's up guys it's very old down here so i'm guessing you can get into the pool from in here oh that's where that goes okay yeah to that room and then here now we're underneath the pool yep now we're underneath the pool guys filters here we've got some filters guys we got we got a little toy what is this like a drum here or something what the heck's this thing oh it's a giant clock for doing laughs i thought it was like some kind of an indian drum but it's a clock for timing your laps [Applause] let's see what's back here probably not much but we'll go take a look anyways guys diving board okay [Applause] see there's the diving board guys right there okay guys we're gonna find the bunker now it's one of these doors i'm gonna guess it's the one that has the vent on the bottom so let's check it out look at this big thick door oh let's go you guys coming sure behind the scenes what's this is this like an oxygen tan oxygen oxygen oxygen tank right here oh my god [Music] it could be water that produces water oxygen [Music] this is crazy [Music] got a humidifier is that a dehumidifier that is very air conditioned air conditioner oh that sucks and then got all these barrels here i wonder what these they're not all these bears before [Applause] this is probably the generator right here furnace generator for power yeah that's a generator right there you can it's fully uh self-sufficient it's amazing yeah there's a car battery here you've got your generator there's even a key in it we could actually turn the generator on if we wanted to shower wow yeah this whole thing is entirely self-sufficient and then this goes down and there's like uh it looks like it could be like an escape or like it's like a like a water oh wow you see where it goes i mean you could climb it it's tight but it looks like it's just an output for like water or like an exhaust that could be it yeah but it's definitely not like an escape route that's weird though that door right there walks from the inside here yeah so they must be worried that somebody could be yeah that is so cool i mean yeah you could totally go down there and it continues you can even see it it's totally a total like fallout shelter bunker this is so cool that that has to be the water system maybe a couple of those that are like that wow that is awesome check this out guys i'm in the very far backyard there's uh that's a gazebo right here as you can see and then there's a tennis court right here way at the back of the property it's all overgrown you can see the roof of the house way off in the distance there [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] okay guys that's going to be a wrap on this one i hope
