(Butterfly) flowers embroidery
Lily's Garden
Hello, this is Lily's Garden.
Today, I'm going to embroider Butterfly Ranunculus among Ranunculus.
This is a very thin and shiny petal, like the wings of a butterfly that flutters in the wind.
Butterflies grow in various colors,
but in this work, like the upcoming summer,
I'm going to make a canvas frame by mixing a slightly intense red butterfly and a summer flower.
First, position the design on the prepared fabric,
and then put the ink between them to move the design.
At this time, the design of the three-dimensional embroidery uses a waterproof pen.
If you don't have a waterproof pen for embroidery,
you can put the ink according to the description when you actually put the ink without marking the design line.
First, I'm going to make the stem using a back split stitch.
Please prepare three strands of thread.
Go about 5mm above the stem and pull out the needle.
Go back and put it at the end of the stem.
This time, go about 5mm from the stitch and pull out the needle
and go back and put the needle in the middle of the stitch.
Go back from stitch to about 5mm and take out the needle.
Go back and put the needle in the middle of the stitch.
Repeat this to make a back split stitch to the end of the stem.
When the stitch is finished, put the needle under the fabric and tie a knot at the back.
Change the color to make another stem.
The overlapping part of the stem is connected to the bottom stem.
There is also a stem that makes a back split stitch with two strands of thread, so please refer to the design.
Second, I'll make a flower using Smyrna Stitch.
Please prepare three strands of thread.
Put the needle from top to bottom based on the center of the petal without knotting the thread.
Come back about 2mm to the left and pull out the needle from the end of the pattern.
This time, move 4mm to the side, put the needle in, and pull the thread.
This time, attach it to the thread that came up and pull out the needle.
Move 4mm to the side, put the needle in, and make a loop.
Pull out the needle from the end of the stitch below and pull the thread.
Move to the side, put the needle in, and pull the thread to fix the loop on top.
Again, pull out the needle from the end of the stitch above, move to the side, make a loop,
come back down, pull out the needle, and pull the thread.
At this time, adjust the height of the loop to the stitch next to it.
Then put the needle to the side and fix the stitch.
In this way, the stitch that alternates the loop and the straight line is called Smyrna Stitch.
Smyrna Stitch while maintaining a constant interval according to the pattern line.
If you look at the pattern line, the length of the petal below is longer than the petal above.
Because the petal is down because the flower is abundant compared to the thin stem of Butterfly Ranunculus,
the petal is facing down.
If you didn't mark the outer pattern line,
make the upper petal about 1cm long,
and the lower petal about 1.5cm long.
When the stitch is finished to the end of the pattern line,
take the needle out of the last loop,
and cut the thread from the fabric without a knot.
The Smyrna Stitch of a flower is stitched in three dimensions.
As I explained earlier, Smyrna Stitch.
Third, I'll do the French Knot Stitch.
Prepare two strands of thread.
Take the needle out of the fabric.
Wind the thread around the needle twice,
and put it under the fabric slightly out of the position where the needle came out.
When embroidering in three dimensions,
you have to make the flower first and then the petals later
so that the thread does not get tangled or dragged under the fabric.
Keep this in mind and stitch it.
Fill the inside of the pattern line with French Knot Stitch.
Change the color to make another butterfly ranunculus.
Make a mimosa with French Knot Stitch.
Fourth, I'll make another flower with Bouillon Knot Stitch.
Prepare two strands of thread.
Take the needle out of the fabric.
Wind the thread around the needle twice,
and put it under the fabric slightly out of the position where the needle came out.
When you're done winding,
hold the thread on the needle with one hand,
and pull the needle out with the other hand
to pull the thread and push the stitch up.
Then you'll have a round Bouillon Knot Stitch.
Put the needle under the fabric and finish it.
Go to the side and pull out the needle,
and make a Bouillon Knot Stitch in the same way.
The length of the petals depends on the number of times the needle is wound.
Here, I made a short petal by winding it about 15 times.
Follow the design line and make a bouillon note petal.
Now that the outside of the petal is filled,
I'm going to fill in the inside.
You can stitch along the circle,
or you can do the Bouillon Knot Stitch more freely.
But fill in the inside carefully without gaps.
Fifth, I'll make Leaf Stitch and Lazy Daisy Stitch.
First, prepare three strands of thread.
Take the needle out of the top of the leaf.
Put it up to three-quarters of the length of the leaf to make the center line.
Come down about 3mm from the center line and take it out from the left,
and put it in the right to make a ring.
This time, attach it to the center line and take the needle out of the ring.
Come down about 2mm from the outside of the ring and put the needle in to fix the thread.
Come down 3mm again and take it out from the left,
and put it in the right to make a ring.
Attach it to the stitch and take the needle out of the ring.
Come down 3mm again and take the needle out of the ring and put the needle in to fix the thread.
Repeat this to make a narrow and thin leaf.
When the stitch is finished to the end of the pattern line,
put the needle under the fabric and tie a knot at the back.
Change the color and refer to the pattern to make all the butterfly leaves.
This time, I'm going to make a lazy daisy stitch leaf with two strands of thread.
Take the needle out of the bottom of the leaf.
Put the needle in the same hole to make a ring,
and take the needle out of the ring from the end of the pattern line.
If you put a stitch outside the ring, the lazy daisy stitch is completed.
Please make a small leaf in the same way.
If you gently touch the shape of the ring while using the elasticity that pulls the thread,
you can make a slightly different shape of lazy daisy stitch leaf.
When the embroidery is completed, prepare a wooden canvas and cover it with a blanket.
Turn it over and fix it with a thick sewing thread or embroidery thread at the back of the canvas.
Take the needle out of the fabric and sew it zigzag over the left and right sides.
Sew at a distance of about 2 to 3 cm.
At this time, use a thick sewing thread or 6 strands of embroidery thread to fix it.
Pull the thread tightly and sew it tightly so that there is no stretch in the fabric.
When the horizontal direction is finished, sew the top and bottom in the same way.
At this time, arrange the fabric slightly as if wrapping a gift and sew it in the same way.
Ranunculus Butterfly Flower Embroidery is completed.
Among the Ranunculus, Butterfly has the flower meaning that I fell in love with you.
It is such an attractive and beautiful flower, and when you shine the petals in the sun,
it is also a mysterious flower with a subtle glow from the petals.
I recommend you to see it at least once, and I will finish it all.
Thank you for coming to Lily's Garden today.
Have a happy day, everyone.
