Cruising in the Crown Vic just feels incredible It's so planted. It's so smooth. Wow You gotta be careful. That was a close one. No, but when you flew out on the road, that was very close. Hey there, everyone. Today, we're driving a 2005 Ford Crown Victoria Undercover police interceptor. I want to say a huge thank you to World Auto Nova of Fredericksburg, Virginia and especially Matt for providing me this car and making this test drive possible But let's fire up this beautiful Crown Victoria Just the way it starts up is phenomenal But let's go take a look outside This is the original classic police car A lot of you have been asking for this one So here it is This one only has 83,000 miles Super duper clean unit Excellent condition Beautiful black with black tints Lovely ride Let's go check out the back seat See how that feels So here we have the leather seat I'm 6'2'' And there is a good amount of space Headroom, legroom wise I'm 6'2'' Nice headliner Feels good Let's go look at the trunk and engine bay Yeah, there we go I'm not sure if this has a button anywhere for the trunk release But let's check Yeah, I think we're going to have to manually open the trunk But that's okay We can open it Look at that trunk That's one enormous trunk Oh my goodness Let's put all this right here That is big, a big trunk I think we should be good All right, let's fire it up All right Oh, there it was, trunk release Who would have known All right, got our manuals in here Our visor Center lamp Okay, let's do a quick wiper test And let's do a horn test Let's get going That sound Starting out is just phenomenal Let's go here It rides really nicely Feels like you're floating on air The handling is floaty but nice You can feel that this is a super long vehicle Let's turn around Good turnaround radius The way this car sounds is something out of this world It kind of gives me those Corvette vibes When it accelerates The high RPMs But let's head on out here We'll probably start out with a 0-60 test first And then we're going to get that out of the way And then we're going to go drive her around All right, we're going to make sure we let all the traffic through Let's go There we go, there we have it Let's look at our numbers 0-60 in 8.23 seconds 0-62 in 8.65 And the 1.8 mile at 10.49 It's 70.17 What is up with every cop car that I drive That it has the same trap speed over and over again Every single time Whenever I drive one But we're definitely going to have to do this again Cruising in the Crown Vic just feels incredible It's so planted, it's so smooth Wow, this is for real One of the nicest riding vehicles that I've seen Ha ha, the sound is so good I absolutely love this, gotta say Can somebody tell me why Well, thus far, I have to say this is definitely My favorite riding police car, hands down This is unbeatable In the ride quality, in the comfort I truly love this And surprisingly, it feels very effortless on the power It doesn't feel like it's struggling Or it needs more acceleration It's got great acceleration for what it is All right, so we're going to turn around And start heading back here shortly But we will definitely do one more run right now On the 0-60 See if we can do better All right, let's do one more 0-60 run here So we're going to come to a full stop We're going to reset the drag, okay, reset 3, 2, 1, let's go And we did 8.64 this time It's very hard to start on this car Without any wheel spin We did 0-60 in 8.65, valid And 1.8 mile, 10.67 at 68.56 It's definitely a challenge to start here But yeah, it's about low, mid-8s on the 0-60 So there you go And let's continue driving and then wrap up this test drive Oh man, this thing is quick Properly quick For a 2005 Crown Vic Amazing It's too much risk getting out in the left lane here in this area Because they are always coming at you the other way And unless you go on the limit or plus 5 They're going to go get you Pretty scary See what I told you all They're always right here Always coming your way As far as impressions, I don't even know what else to add here It's just a phenomenal ride It has incredible comfort The seats are definitely by far one of the best police car seats that I've been in Just so comfy, so supportive They feel like cushions I love it I love the downshift here So good And this shifts in a fashion more like a Honda Accord With these cool little kicks Bam, bam, bam It adds to the feel I love this Let's start heading back now All right, let's squeeze in a bit You know, this is one of the best riding cars That I've seen There's another one, again, another one They are everywhere See, I'd love to show the capabilities of this car more But you just can't Every mile, there's one coming your way This time I actually want to Go into the throttle smoothly 3, 2, 1, let's go Yes, OK, ta-da So 8.62 What the heck was that about?
