Hey everyone, today I'm going to be testing out life-changing makeup tips from the RMS
Beauty founder, Rosemary Swift.
You guys were recommending their blushes to me in so many comments.
I finally ended up just going over to their TikTok page because I was thinking maybe they
had some swatches of the blushes.
I found one of Rosemary's videos, started watching it, and it just sent me down this
rabbit hole.
And since then, I've tried so many products from RMS that I wanted to share with you today.
Some of my favorites and also just Rosemary's tips along the way, because I feel like they
have improved my makeup game so much and I think it'll really help you guys too.
So if that sounds good, be sure to stay tuned.
If you're new here and you like honest, unsponsored makeup content, be sure to hit the subscribe
button and let's go ahead and jump right in and get started.
All right, so let's go ahead and start with the complexion first.
And RMS does have a foundation, but I don't have that one yet.
I definitely plan to try it out, but I do have their Uncover Up concealer, which you
can use as a full face foundation.
I've never done that before, but I saw a video of Rosemary kind of explaining the process.
And as a concealer, first of all, this is fabulous.
It is the smoothest, silkiest concealer.
It just melts right into your skin.
It's so thin and it doesn't ever leave your skin feeling dry or cakey.
It's honestly the smoothest product ever.
So let's go ahead and see what she said about using it as a foundation.
All right.
The press has made this into concealers.
We all know it's the Uncover Up cream concealer.
Okay.
When I first did this, it was also a tinted moisturizer and it was also a full faced foundation.
I'm going to show you exactly why and how to make it a tinted moisturizer.
I'm going to take a couple of drops of the beauty oil.
You can use a moisturizer, whatever you want.
I love this brush because I want it to mimic a thumbprint.
So it's got this little hypnotic swirl in the center.
Can you guys see that?
What I'm going to do is I'm going to put the brush into there and I'm going to rub this
around.
This is now a tinted moisturizer.
And if you notice, this is the easiest brush to use for your foundation.
It goes on perfectly.
It blends perfectly.
It makes the skin look luminous.
You don't have to do full face.
I don't believe in full face foundation.
I believe in it just where you need it.
You don't need to do it all over the face.
So I'm going to get a little bit there and a little bit in the T-zone up here and a little
bit on my chin and around, around the nose and this works perfect for around the nose.
You just do a little spiral and it gets every little blackhead and pore that you might have.
Voila.
Look at that.
It's a tinted moisturizer.
So I thought that was the coolest idea.
I actually sometimes do mix in moisturizer or face oil with some of my foundations that
are a little bit too dry for my dry skin.
So that concept isn't really new to me, but mixing it in with a concealer, I've never
really tried before just to make it an all over foundation.
So I have it in the shade 11.
I wanted 11.5 because that one's a little bit peachier and this one is more yellow,
but it was sold out.
This one didn't look like it was going to be too bad of a match for me.
So I'll just quickly show you.
I swatched it on the back of my hand.
I mean, I think it blends in pretty well.
It's maybe just slightly warmer than my skin tone, but I want to go ahead and just put
it all over my face and I have the Tear Tear Ceramic Cream Moisturizer.
I'm not going to use a face oil like she did only because it's hot outside and my skin
isn't as dry as it normally is in the winter.
In the winter, I might go ahead and mix this with a face oil, but I think now going out
in the heat and humidity, it might just be a little bit too greasy.
So I'm going to take a small flat top brush.
This is the Sigma Soft Coverage and I'm just going to swirl it around in the pot like she
did and I have a little tiny bit of the moisturizer on the back of my hand and then we're just
going to mix them together.
So I just picked up a little bit of the product and honestly, I didn't put too much of the
moisturizer because I still want there to be coverage.
So I'm just kind of mixing the two together and let's just start applying it.
I don't think that this is going to be a lot of coverage.
She said a tinted moisturizer, so I'm expecting it to be pretty sheer, but I thought then
I could go back in with the concealer full strength and just put it in certain areas
that I want a little bit more coverage.
And she also said that this can be a full coverage foundation.
So I'm guessing if you just use it straight out of the pot itself, you can do that.
Personally, I think it would go through the product really quickly because this is a small
pot.
When you're mixing it with a moisturizer, the moisturizer is going to help it kind of
stretch and go a little bit further.
So I actually think this is giving pretty decent coverage.
I don't know if you guys can tell on camera, but just looking in the mirror, I think this
looks really good.
It's just evened out my skin tone.
I can always just go straight into the jar and kind of put a little bit around the outer
corner of my eye where I tend to get a little bit of darkness and I'm just using it now
as a concealer just to brighten up that area and also just in the inner corner of my eye
as well.
Yeah, that made a huge difference right there that just brightened everything up compared
to this side.
And I'm just going to put a little bit on my forehead.
I'm just doing half of my face so that we can see what the difference looks like.
All right.
So yeah, I mean, I think the effect is pretty subtle.
We have the coverage over here, which is just very light sheer coverage.
And then on this side, you can see a little bit more discoloration.
So overall, I think this is sitting on my skin so beautifully.
It's not enhancing lines, porous texture.
It has a nice, beautiful luminous glow, especially because I mixed it with the moisturizer.
So this just made me love this product even more.
And I feel like I could even do this with other concealers in my collection, too.
You don't have to necessarily use this one.
I happen to love this one because it's so natural looking.
But I just love the idea of mixing a concealer with a moisturizer or a face oil and making
your own skin tint or foundation.
I think that is genius.
So here's my skin up close.
And obviously, it's not full coverage.
You can still see little imperfections here and there.
But it just overall evened out my skin tone, toned down the redness, and it just gave me
a bit of a luminous glow with the moisturizer mixed in.
Now, if you have a more oily skin type, I don't know how much you would love this particular
formula because it is a little more emollient.
I think it's formulated for drier and more mature skin types.
But like I said before, this trick would totally work if you have a favorite concealer that's
maybe a little more matte or less emollient to just mix in a little bit of moisturizer,
help it to stretch a little bit more, and put it all over your whole face.
So I think this is an awesome trick.
Next up, when it comes to bronzer, Rosemarie has changed the game for me.
I shared this trick in one of my more recent videos talking about changing the placement
and where I put the bronzer on my face, and it made such a huge difference.
So let's go ahead and I'll show you the original video because a lot of you were asking to
see that.
When I did Victoria's Secret, I used to have to go on location all the time, and I mastered
doing a beautiful, beautiful tan.
Unfortunately, I did not have these at the time, but I do now.
Now, usually when someone's pale like that, they tend to wind over, you want to have a
bronzer on.
I'm going to show you a way of using a bronzer that's fantastic.
We need a new brush.
Oh, here it is.
Yeah.
Oh, I'm so bossy.
This is the Beachwalk Betty.
My idea of a bronzer, I wanted a bronzer that looks like a real tan.
So I'm going to show you.
Now, this is Pale Skin Beachwalk Betty.
Beachwalk Betty is somebody that's walking along the beach and just wants a little bit
of color, but not too, too much.
Now, I'm going to start very, very lightly and just give that little dusting of color.
This is exactly where the sun is going to hit, right over that cheekbone, bridge of
the nose, a little on the forehead, and it is probably one of my favorite colors, mostly
for the pale skin.
This is Beachwalk Betty.
Beautiful, beautiful hint of color.
Can you guys see that?
Beautiful.
And all you pale girls are probably going, oh, I don't want a tan, but look at how beautiful
that looks, just with a little kiss of that color.
So yeah, what she's saying made so much sense.
That is exactly where the sun is going to hit you.
And I'll just show you a clip of me applying the powder bronzer.
This is the RMS bronzer, also in Beachwalk Betty.
And I put that on my skin in that video, and I was just so blown away by how much more
natural it looked on me versus applying it under the hollows of my cheekbones where I
was doing it before.
It not only looked more natural, but I also felt like it added a little bit of balance
to my face because I have a longer face.
It wasn't pulling it downward.
It was kind of making it look a little bit wider and more youthful.
I was just obsessed with this technique, and I definitely have been doing it ever since.
So I have been absolutely loving the Beachwalk Betty bronzer, and this formula is also just
so beautiful.
This is what it looks like in the pan.
I just love the color.
It's not cool tone like a contour, but it's also not orangey.
It doesn't have a yellow undertone.
It has that little bit of reddish quality to it.
And when I naturally tan in the sun, my face does take on that little bit of a pink or
reddish undertone.
So it almost mimics that little bit of like, you know, you're just starting to get maybe
like a little hint of a sunburn.
It's that type of color.
So since I already use this one and I've been loving it, I noticed on her TikTok that she
was talking about their cream bronzers.
So this is the Burriti bronzer, and it just comes in this one color, but I saw her using
it in a video and I was like, I need this in my life.
So let me show you that one really quick.
A natural sun-kissed finish is really easy to achieve if you have the right product.
Most of them, Ruby, come on, well, they're minerals, they're dry minerals, so they look
really ugly.
I'm sorry.
You look dry.
You look, it's the wrong color.
They're all too orange.
I like to take a more of a, almost like a real true bronze.
You're somewhere tropical.
It looks moist.
It doesn't look dry.
And also when you put on a bronzer, I find that most people will put it all over their
face.
They just, that looks ridiculous.
And I also don't know what sun tan goes like that on your face.
So here's how I like to do it, and people are going to go, what are you doing up there?
Well, if you go in the sun, where do you get a tan?
You get it horizontal.
You don't get it vertical going like this.
You actually get it horizontal.
And I love this brush because it's dual tapered and it's got just a few little fibers on the
top, so you're not picking up too much or you're going to be in trouble.
And I like to put it right where the sun actually kisses your face.
A little bit on the nose, glow.
Please note, it's not orange.
It looks a little hint of red in it just because that's how your skin looks when it's first
been kissed by the sun.
So I've got a nice little bit of a tan put on here so easily and it looks real.
It looks like the sun literally just kissed me at the beach.
So I just love the way this looked on her and I wanted to try it out.
So this is what it actually looks like in the pot.
Again, it's a bronze, but like she said, it's a not orangey.
It also doesn't have that yellow undertone.
It just has a hint of red and it also just has a slight bit of luminosity to it.
So it's just going to make your skin glow, but it's not glittery or shimmery.
So I'm going to apply it exactly the way that she said across the bridge of my nose and
across the tops of my cheeks over here.
So I'm picking this up with the Sigma soft angled cheek brush and I'm just picking up
a little bit to start.
I don't know how pigmented this is going to be.
This is actually my first time using this one.
So we're going to use it together on camera.
So I'm just going to stamp this on because I don't want to move my foundation around
too much.
But this color is perfection.
It is really light.
It's not like a super dark color that you have to be worried about going overboard with.
Honestly, I love products like this because you can just build them up to whatever you
want.
You can start slow.
That's how I always like to do it.
But I love the glow that this is giving.
It almost looks a little bit like a blush on me.
It has that rosy undertone that I absolutely love and it just looks so natural.
Like this is my natural tan.
I'm just going to put a little bit on my forehead.
That's another place that the sun is going to hit you when you're outside.
Just look at how this is warming up my face very subtly and it's adding that little bit
of a luminous glow.
But if I look in the mirror, it doesn't look sparkly.
It's not highlighting texture at all.
This is so beautiful.
I mean, I love their powder bronzer, but this one, especially when you have dry skin or
you feel like your skin is looking dull and you just want to kind of brighten things up.
This is oh my gosh, this is gorgeous.
I'm loving the way this looks and it's a little bit more subtle than the powder bronzer.
I feel like this one gives you a little bit more color.
So if you don't want a ton of color and you don't want to look really tan, but you just
want to look like she said, kissed by the sun, I think this cream is amazing.
Next up, we have to talk about her blushes because these are incredible.
They're probably her most well-known popular product.
This is the one that I see everybody talking about on social media.
So these are the Redimension Hydra Powder Blushes.
And I mistakenly said in a different video that these were a baked formula.
They're not actually baked.
They feel like they are.
They remind me of a baked blush, but she said that they're actually a gel powder hybrid
formula.
So they're a little bit different.
I know she doesn't actually like baked products because she said they're a little more dry.
I'll just insert a quick clip of her actually describing them.
This is our Redimension Hydra Blushes.
These are awesome.
I'm going to show you what these do.
It's gel to powder technology.
And what it does, it's got that beautiful moisturizing hydration of a cream, but it's
got that long wear of a powder.
There is a slight luminizing effect to this.
Look at how beautiful and fresh that looks.
Very radiant.
It's non-drying.
It's long-lasting.
Its color actually could go on a very deep-skinned girl, and it looks beautiful, and you won't
see that chalky whiteness.
You'll just see this little hint of a rose that looks beautiful.
So yeah, like she said, these do have a little bit of luminosity, but they're not shimmer,
they're not glitter, and they don't enhance texture on your face.
I have tried these now so many times, and I definitely have visible pores in this area,
and these do not make it worse.
Now, as far as application goes, Rosemary also has a technique that I've been using
lately and just absolutely loving.
So let me show you that really fast.
You guys all know, don't bring the blush below the nostrils.
It pulls the face down and get jolly.
And I'm going to use Kier Royale, actually.
She has very warm skin, so I'm going to give her a little bit more of a cooler blush.
I'm going to lift it right up.
Not only that, when you take it up high, it also softens the little discoloration under
the eye, because you don't want to see the darkness and then like a little bit of that
white bulbous skin.
You're going to just take that blush, just center it back down slightly, and you'll see
that it's way easier on the eyes.
Very subtle.
I don't do it like this.
I like to go on the apples of the cheek mostly as we get older.
It just adds more youthfulness to it.
I'm going to just add a little pop more.
And again, if you notice, I'm not on the cheekbone.
So I love this tip about not going below the nose with your blush, because I always used
to just put it all over this area, and it really does drag your face down.
And I'm going to show you guys in a clip that I'm going to play in a little while, where
she demonstrates that on a model with her cream blush.
And the difference is pretty striking.
So I'm going to go ahead and use the shade Crystal Slipper.
This is one of my favorites.
It's like the perfect nude blush.
I think it has a little hint of peach to it.
And it just looks so flattering, but I am going to swatch all of these for you as well,
so you'll be able to see all the colors that I have.
But I'm just going to go ahead and start applying this, like she said, right under the eye,
just on the apple of my cheek.
I'm not going to go like on the cheekbone over here.
And I find that this just lifts your face.
She said in another video that she actually learned this from Giselle, like the super
model Giselle.
So honestly, who wouldn't want to do their makeup like she does?
I think also the reason that this trick works for me is similar to the bronzer.
I have more of a long face.
And the last thing I want to do is drag my face down and make it look even longer.
So I think applying blush this way just helps to widen my face.
Now, if your face is already like more round, you may want to do it more on your cheekbone.
But I think as we get older and we lose volume in our face, it can start to look more gaunt.
And this just kind of makes the face look a little bit more plumped up and more youthful.
I'm also just going to put a little bit of this on the bridge of my nose as well.
And this just gives such a pretty flush of color.
And it looks so smooth on my cheeks, even though it's a little bit more luminous, somehow
it looks smoother.
I don't know how they did it, but that's why I've been buying these blushes like crazy.
So let me just quickly show you swatches of the colors that I have.
I only have four colors so far, but I'm obsessed now.
I feel like I'm just going to keep buying more.
And I get these on Amazon too.
And they come either same day in some cases or the next day.
So the shipping is really fast.
I did actually speak with somebody at RMS Beauty on Instagram.
I had DM'd them and just wanted to make sure that the products on Amazon are authentic.
And they said they absolutely are.
That Amazon is one of their sellers.
So you know, you never know when it comes to Amazon.
But I've just been loving these and I think the colors are absolutely fantastic.
I have some warm tone shades, I have some cooler ones, and I just cannot get enough
of these.
They're fantastic.
So next up, when it comes to cream blush, she does have some that come in little pots
that look like the bronzer.
And those are called the Lip to Cheek, so you can use them in both places.
I actually got the Lip to Cheek Quad so that I could try a couple of different shades.
And this one actually has three shades of the Lip to Cheek and then also one of her
highlighters.
And recently in a video, I did try on all three colors on my lips and cheeks.
So I just want to show you that really quickly while I'm talking about the formula so that
you can see what the three colors in the quad look like.
I think in general, this quad is really well rounded because you have a pink, a nude, and
a red.
So you can really do a lot with this.
You can mix the colors together if you want and kind of make your custom colors or just
wear them as is.
And what I love about this formula is that it's dewy enough to wear on your lips that
it doesn't feel dry.
But when you put it on your cheeks, it also kind of just blends right in and it doesn't
stay sticky or tacky.
And they're actually very long-lasting on me as well.
So I just have been loving this formula.
And this little quad is going to be perfect to take on vacation with me because it's so
small and compact.
And I just want to quickly show you a video of her applying this and the reason why she
loves red blush and also again where she likes to apply blush.
This is the color actually I use on Victoria's Secret all the time because it gives the most
beautiful flush to the cheek, which looks really natural.
Now I'm going to show you what I see happening in the industry.
I see the blush going below the nostrils.
Now I'm going to blend it nice so it still looks somewhat pretty.
Now this is going below the nostrils.
So what's happening?
It's pulling the face down.
She's getting a little bit of a gel.
And as you get older, mostly somebody my age, it looks more obvious, the little lines there.
So watch this.
And I learned this trick from Gisele, believe it or not.
And I'm going to now lift it up higher.
Look at the difference in the face.
So I don't know about you guys, but I definitely noticed a difference in her face when she
put the blush lower down versus high up.
And I've just noticed it on myself as well.
And you guys have too, because every video where I've worn my blush a little higher,
I've been getting compliments on it.
So I think it is such an awesome trick.
Next up, when it comes to eye shadow, she has these little tubes and they're called
the Eyelights Cream Eyeshadows.
Now I started with one of these.
I ordered it on Amazon.
I think it was this purple one, Blaze.
This is so beautiful.
And by the way, they give you a little key with every single one that you can use to
roll the tube down when you need to.
So I'll just go ahead and let Rosemary explain what these are all about.
This is so easy to use.
I'm just going to take a little bit of my finger again.
I love using my fingers.
I'm going to pop a little just in the center.
And a lot of people go, oh my God, it's shimmery.
It's not going to look good on me.
Well, let me tell you, this is not shimmery.
It's luminous.
There's a big difference between shimmer and luminous.
Shimmer means there's little particles in it.
And those particles on old skin are not going to look good.
This, because of the ingredients, smooths out the eye.
And this does not crease, so this will stay.
This is a beautiful, beautiful shadow.
And this one is called Strobe.
It's my favorite.
It dries fast.
But once this is dry, it's going to stay all day without creasing.
And it also doesn't flake.
I personally love it when you just have a little bit on the eyelid.
So I think I'm also going to use the shade Strobe today, which
is the one that she said is her favorite.
And this is one of my favorites as well.
It's this beautiful taupey silver.
I think it's just the perfect, easy, one-and-done color.
And like she said, these do have a little bit of luminosity to them,
but they're not glitter or sparkle.
So if you have crepiness on your eyelids, it's not going to accentuate that.
And you know how some cream shadows, you put them on, and then when they dry,
they start to look almost crepey or cracked,
like they make your skin look that way?
These do not do that.
They just look nice and smooth, almost like with a satiny finish.
And I know a lot of you guys are always asking me what eyeshadows don't
have a lot of glitter.
And it's these.
The only thing is, like she said, they do dry really fast.
So you just kind of want to take your finger and just pat, pat, pat really
quickly.
But they're honestly so easy to use and almost foolproof.
They almost blend themselves.
So there's really not too much effort involved.
You can take a brush if you want and apply these too.
So this is just a rougher brush.
This is the number 15 mini.
And you can just kind of go up into your crease area
and blend if you'd rather do that than use your fingers.
Or you can use a flat brush to put them on your lid
and then just quickly take a fluffier brush like this
and just blend it out in the crease.
And it's just the easiest one-and-done shadow ever.
So let me just show you the shades that I have.
I don't have every color, but I have quite a few.
And like I said, these are so pretty.
I think the strobe shade that I used today
is the most luminous out of all of them.
Some of them are a little bit more subtle and almost dry matte.
They're not completely matte.
They all have a little hint of luminosity.
But I think they vary slightly in how much luminosity they have.
So I just love these.
I think they are so easy to use.
My only little tiny complaint that I have with these
is that you want to make sure that you don't squeeze the tube too much
because when you open the little cap,
they can kind of start to squirt out everywhere.
So just be careful.
Just squeeze from the back.
I usually squeeze from the bottom.
And just squeeze the tiniest little amount.
You really don't need much less than a pea size, I would say.
So I just squeeze it until I barely see a little bit of product coming out.
And I just put some on my fingertip and then put it right on
or I put it on the back of my hand.
But again, you have to work quickly with these.
So just be careful with the tubes.
I feel like that's the only complaint that I see about these
when I'm reading reviews on Amazon and places like that
is people saying that they just tend to squirt out all over.
So it's not something that you just want to grab the tube and squeeze it hard.
Please don't do that because you're going to create a mess.
So just a tiny little bit and you're good.
All right, so I'm just going to go ahead and quickly line my eyes.
This is the $1 liquid liner from Shop Miss A.
I don't have an RMS liner or mascara.
So I'm just going to use some other things really quickly.
And then for mascara, I'm using one of my favorites.
This is the Thrive liquid lash extensions tubing mascara.
OK, so moving on to lips, I have some of their lip lights.
These are little lip balms slash glosses in a tube.
And these actually remind me so much of the Bite Beauty Agave lip masks.
Do you guys remember how fabulous those were?
Really thick, really rich and emollient.
These actually do not have lanolin in them, which the Bite Beauty ones did.
But they have that same really thick, rich feel.
And I would definitely recommend one of these little keys for these tubes
because they are so hard to squeeze out, kind of similar to the Bite Beauty ones.
So if I had to complain at all about these, that would be my one complaint.
Otherwise, these have the super thick, rich texture, really similar to a lip mask.
And I believe they do have a clear version as well.
If it's something that you want to wear at night, they're just so deeply hydrating.
And when you put these on, even when the color wears away and the shine goes away,
you can still feel them on your lips.
They're a little tiny bit of a stickier formula.
So it's something that I think is just going to stick around longer.
They're not like a thin lip oil that's just going to melt off and go away after a couple minutes.
You're absolutely going to feel these when you're wearing them.
But I love that because I'm somebody who has really dry lips.
And I love that really rich, balmy type of texture.
So I think the colors that they come in are so pretty.
Like I said, I have four colors, but they have a bunch more over on Amazon and on their website.
And I don't know, I think today I might go a little bit brighter
because I went so subtle with my eyes and cheeks.
And this is the shade Babette, which is this gorgeous, bright orangey red.
So if you don't like wearing dark or bright colors, I know I'm that way.
I'm a little bit shy when it comes to bright lips.
But this is a great way to do that because it's a lip balm.
So it's going to sheer out a little bit more.
And these have a slight vanilla scent.
It's not super strong.
And after I wear these for a little while, I don't even notice it.
But I feel like this is the perfect summer color that really kind of sets off a tan nicely.
It's so pretty.
And it just feels so amazing on my lips.
It's definitely going to carry me throughout the day as far as the hydration goes.
The color is pretty long lasting.
It's not going to last through eating or drinking.
It's not transfer proof because it is a balm at the end of the day.
But I do find that some of the deeper colors, especially like this one,
will last a bit longer.
It leaves a little bit of a stain behind.
So unfortunately, I don't have a video of Rosemarie talking about these.
I'm sure she's made one and I just haven't found it yet.
But I just love watching her.
She just has such a common sense approach to makeup.
And she's not trying to be viral or trendy.
She's just using what she was taught and her training and all of the tips and tricks that
she learned doing the Victoria's Secret models and, you know,
all of the other people that she's worked on over the years.
So if you're over on TikTok or even Instagram and YouTube shorts,
I'm sure they have some of her videos as well.
Definitely go and check out RMS Beauty.
That's where all of her posts live.
I've honestly learned so much from watching her.
And I just feel like my makeup game is just continuing to get better.
So I want to thank you all so much for taking time out of your day to watch this video.
I truly appreciate it.
And I'd love to hear what your favorite RMS products are
down in the comments if you've tried anything from them.
Also, if you enjoyed this video, I hope you'll consider hitting the subscribe button before you go.
And I will see you all in my next video.
Take care, guys.
Bye.
