And now here is your host and teacher, Perry Stone.
The parables reveal the final battles. There are three main harvest cycles connected to
Israel. Now we brought this out earlier, but we're going to bring it out again in the context
of what we're going to talk about. All right. First of all, there is the barley harvest.
Then the second main harvest is the wheat harvest. And the third I've put up there,
the end gathering, and it's a fruit harvest. So instead of putting fruit harvest,
it's called the end gathering. The first harvest is centered around Passover.
The second harvest is centered around Pentecost. And the third is centered around the Feast of
Tabernacles. Now, the three feasts that all men had to attend are Passover, Pentecost,
and Tabernacles. So Passover is linked to the barley harvest. Pentecost is linked to the wheat
harvest. And Tabernacles is linked to the end gathering. Now, what I want to show you here
is I want to show you how wars in the Bible, I call them the harvest wars, would occur
during especially the wheat harvest. This is amazing. Okay. So let's look at this very carefully.
First of all, we have Samson had a battle that occurred in Judges 15 and 1, and it occurred
during the wheat harvest. Now, remember, wheat harvest, the Jewish festival that would be linked
to the wheat harvest is Pentecost. Gideon also, in Judges 6, verse 11, he has a battle,
and his battles occur during the wheat harvest. There was a judgment related to the Ark of the
Covenant, and in 1 Samuel 6, 13, it was during the wheat harvest. And that, again, represents the
festival of Pentecost, or that's when the wheat harvest occurs is during Pentecost. David's
battles, 2 Samuel 4 and 6 bring this out, David's battles occurred during harvest time.
When Rispa lost her sons, and you can read about that story in 2 Samuel 21, her battle during the
harvest to protect those sons' bodies, the corpses of her sons, was during Passover. Now,
please don't miss this. All of these particular battles in the Bible happened during the harvest
cycles. They happened during specifically the wheat harvest. Now, there's a reason for that,
because during the harvest is when the precious grain is brought to the threshing floor.
And the end-time harvest is Matthew 24, 14, the gospel being preached around the world.
And in the end-time harvest, what happens is that Satan will attack churches and ministries
and individual believers to prevent them from reaching the harvest, or to prevent them from
reaching the souls that they need to reach for the kingdom of God. Now, watch this. When the fruit
is brought forth, and I'm going to read, I'm going to read this verse from Matthew, I'm sorry,
from Mark 4 and verse 29. But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the
sickle, because the harvest is come. When God sees that the field, which is the hearts of men and
women, is ready to receive the gospel, because Reinhard Bonnke used to say not all of God's
harvest fields are ripe at the same time. Not all nations are ready to receive the gospel.
But there comes a time when entire nations are open and receptive to the power of the gospel,
to the healing message of Jesus, etc., the delivering message of the gospel of Christ.
And so when this happens, the enemy sets up his opposition during harvest times. You'll discover
that right before your greatest breakthrough many times, you have your greatest battle.
You'll discover that even before great financial breakthroughs many times, that you have
a lot of finances that just go out the door. And a year later, you get this very unexpected
financial breakthrough. You're able to sell property or a home or something, or something
happens on the job maybe that you get an increase that you weren't expecting. But the battles come
at harvest time. You have to remember this. So what the enemy tries to do is if he cannot
stop the laborer from going into the harvest, the person, the preacher, the ministers from
going around the world preaching, then here's what he tries to do. He wants to corrupt the
field with bad seed or mingle the seed, the wheat and the tare. The wheat and the tare grow together.
What is mingling the seed? It's bad doctrine. So if the enemy can't get somebody to deny God,
if he can't get them to not walk with God or believe the Bible, he'll bring out some really
weird unbiblical doctrine and get somebody totally, completely sidetracked on something
that is absolutely not biblical at all to get them in what the early church fathers call some
form of heretical teaching. So that's called mingling the seed. That's your wheat and the
tare kind of growing together. The tare being the bad seed, the wheat being the good seed.
Or Satan tries to attempt to kill the harvest through circumstances. A storm can mess a field
up. A flood can mess a field up. A tornado can mess a field up. And we're talking in the natural
here. So spiritual storms, the enemy tries to come in like a flood to devour the blessing before it
can come forth, Revelation 12. And so what happens is Satan uses circumstances to try to choke the
word that is being sown in people's heart. This will happen in the time of the end. And I'm going
to tell you how he does it mostly. And boy, with Facebook and all this other social media,
it's happening by the split second. And that is getting people offended. You know, you post
something and you get 10 negative comments. No, I don't get 10. I get a thousand. And no matter what
we post, a thousand negative comments. So I have learned, I just blow it off. Well, they don't like
you. I don't care. Well, they don't like your preaching. I really don't care. Well, they don't
like your hair. I really don't care. They don't like your outfits. I don't care. Why would I waste
my time arguing with someone who disagrees with me anyway, that my argument is not going to change
their opinion. That is a waste of energy and time and mental power. So don't, don't get caught up
with it. But the enemy wants to bring an offense and you can read that in Matthew 24 as well.
Many will be offended and when they get offended, they betray one another and hate one another.
And because of the offense, their love for people and for God begins to wax cold. There are people
right now that will not even go to church because they got, because they got offended in a church
service. So remember, these are the battles of harvest time revealed in the parables revealed
even through the old Testament. When harvest comes, Satan comes to steal the word before the
harvest can ever produce the fruit. Okay. So then the other thing Satan wants to do is he wants to,
to attack the harvest itself, the souls, or he wants to stop the laborers from going into the
field themselves. He tries to do that sometimes by nations passing laws against the gospel, or even
the United States. You know, you can't pray in school. You can't read the Bible in public school,
passing laws to limit the seed of the word from getting in someone's heart through the hearing of
the word of God. Now the end time battles are revealed in the parables. And you can see this,
you have the wheat and the tares, Matthew chapter 13, a man plants a good seed in the field
while he slept. And there we go. Here's the sleeping again. The virgins are sleeping. Now
the man who owns the field is sleeping. An enemy came and sows tares. And the Bible says this,
this is a scripture, let them both grow together until harvest. Now look, watch this.
And in the time of the harvest, I will say to the reapers, gather ye together first the tares and
bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn. Matthew 13, 14 through 30.
Now, again, let me emphasize this because there's a danger of mingling doctrine.
There's, and there's also a danger when, uh, you have tares that are people with wrong motors,
wrong attitudes, sometimes just bad people. And they intermingle with Christians. They do this
in church. When you try to pull the tear out, you always take good wheat with it. Uh, you know,
but, uh, that's why God says I have to send the angels to do the separating. Cause if we try to
do the separating, we hurt good people in the midst of dealing with the crazy people. Anybody's
pastor at church knows exactly what I'm talking about, but many attacks will come from Satan at
the time of the end as revealed in the parables. Uh, now some of the parables are found. Some of
these parables are found in Luke 15, four through 32 that I'm going to tell you about. Now, this is
a real important list that you're going to see here. And I saw this a while back and I want to
elaborate for just a moment on how these parables reveal in depth,
the battles that we will fight at the time of the end. Luke 15, 11 through 32 is the parable of a
lost son where a man has two sons. One is compliant. One is defiant. One becomes a prodigal
and leaves the house causing great grief to the father. Luke 15, eight through nine is the lost
coin. A woman had 10 coins and she lost one of them. And it just, it just, you know, cause these
are coins that women used to wear around their neck in a necklace. So apparently one coin fell
off the necklace cause the women used to wear their husband's wealth that way. Gold, probably
a gold coin more than likely based on tradition and history. So she loses one, uh, and she has
to sweep the house to try to find it. And then the third parable is Luke 15, four through seven.
And it's the parable of the lost sheep. A shepherd cannot find one of the sheep that straight away.
And he has to go find the lost sheep. So we have the lost son, the lost coin and the lost sheep.
Now, what these three parables reveal, and I think this is extremely interesting is all three
of these parables reveal the attacks that's going to happen in the end of time. And these attacks
can be summed up in three ways. Now, this is really going to make sense to you. And I think
it's amazing that Jesus gave us these parables of the lost son and the lost coin and the lost
sheep, because these three parables reveal there's going to be an attack against your family,
an attack against your finances and for pastors and attack in your flock, which are your sheep.
All right. The lost son tells me of an assignment on your family that you're going to have children
in your family rebel against truth and rebel against you. And you're going to have to pray
through that and hold on to God to get that lost son, or it can be a daughter back to your home
and back into the kingdom and back in fellowship with the family. The lost coin is an assignment
against your finances. Now notice she has 10 coins, but in one of those coins, she 10 coins,
one of those coins, that would be the tie of the 10th, one 10th. So when you give the enemy's going
to try to say, you're giving is useless. You're under attack with your giving. You need to have,
you need your money. Don't be given to the kingdom. They don't need your money. All these
voices will come, but don't listen to it because that will be an attack against your finances
because part of your blessing comes through financial giving in the kingdom. The lost sheep
is he had a hundred sheep. The shepherd did one, went astray. And so many times in the church,
we'll have a hundred members and one will go astray. Well, you know, he'll learn. Well, let him,
if he makes his bed, he's got to sleep in it. Well, she'll be back one day if she loves God.
And instead of going to rescue the sheep from the jaws of the enemy, we sit back, waiting the sheep
come for the sheep to come back to us. When in reality, the parable is the shepherd has to go
get the person or the body has to go find that person and say, you know, we're not going to put
up with this. I had one of our young people years ago that was battling addiction. And I would say
to her, now, Jessica, I'm telling you something. I better not see you in a bar hanging out with a
bunch of crazy guys. Cause I will walk in that restaurant. If I see you, I'll go over there and
pull you up and say, what's a princess doing among these frogs. Okay. What's a princess doing among
these heathen get up from there. And she knew I would do it. And she knew I would, and boy,
she's done great. She has served God and followed God. She slipped up a few times, but we held her
accountable because we don't want anybody to be lost. We don't want anybody to go astray. So this
is the reason why now in all three of the parable of the lost son, the lost coin and the lost sheep,
notice this, we've got to talk about the end of the problem, the end of the attack,
all three parables conclude with the people rejoice seeing in the family. Remember this,
if you will pray and seek God, it may take time, T I M E, but time will bring that person back home.
Time will bring that backslider home. And the father kept waiting patiently. And finally the
prodigal son came home with your finances. The woman kept sweeping until she found the lost
coin. So your finances indicate that you must keep working, holding onto God. Don't give up.
You lose a job, find another job. You can't find job pray till you get one. But in other words,
you keep sweeping, you keep working in order for that, which the enemy is trying to take to be
restored back to you. And that's what the woman did with the church. It's very basic. It's really
simple. You have to leave the 90 of 99 and you have to go out and you have to find that one,
which is lost. And that one, which is totally completely away from God. Now, um, another,
since we're talking about some of the unusual things in the Bible, I want to read to you
the parable of the net and the fish. Now we've been talking about the battles at harvest time,
the three battles you will go through at the time of the end and how each of those has a solution
of praying patiently the till the center comes back home, holding onto God. Don't give up,
uh, continuing to work despite the financial problems that you're seeing, not quitting,
not giving up in your work area with the works of your hands. God will bless the works of your hands
and also being willing to go out and find that person away from God and tell them you love and
put your arm around them. So you need to be back here. Well, they're not going to listen. Well,
you don't know you're going to plant a seed in their life. And so we go after those lost sheep.
Uh, but there's a story in John and I'm going to probably conclude with this. There's a story
in job called the parable of the net and the fish. Now it's, it's not so much. Um, I wouldn't ask so
much, call this a parable, but I would call it, um, uh, actually there's a parable of a net fish.
And Matt, let me get, let me, let me go back over this. There's a parable of the net and fish in
So let's, let's do the parable before I talk about the fishing expedition. I got ahead of myself
there, which happens to me thinking ahead all the time in Matthew 13, 47 through 49. Uh, Jesus says
this, the kingdom of heaven is likened to a net that was cast into the sea and gathered of every
kind. Now they're fishing in the sea. Notice this, which when it was full, they drew to shore and
Now here's, then this is the interesting part.
Now this is a very interesting parable because it talked about a net being cast into the sea,
but anyone hearing this parable would have understood that Jesus was talking about not
which was the area where all of Capernaum, Corazin, Magdala, uh, Bethsaida, the fishing
villages for the Jewish people. Uh, and also where the Gentiles bought fish were around this lake of
Galilee. So it's not really a sea, but they call it sea of Galilee. So he's talking about that lake.
Now when, when they gather the fish, it says they catch some and they throw them away. Why do you
throw fish away? Because among the Jews, some fish is kosher and some fish is not. For example,
if it has scales, a Jew was allowed to eat it. But if it's like a catfish and it has a slick skin,
the Jews will not eat that. There's different reasons for that. But, uh, there is a fish in
the sea of Galilee called Corakinos in Greek and it's catfish. So they won't eat catfish,
but they eat the fish with scales. Of course, Moses talked about this. All right. So, uh,
that's why they're throwing away the fish that are non-kosher. So I want you to understand about
the good and bad fish in the parable. So in the parable, the sea is the world, the net is the
gospel, but there is a separating that comes between the good and bad. When the harvest comes
at the end of the age, there's your wheat and tare, there's your sheep and goat. It all ties
in with this parable, the, the, the law of separation at the end of the age. Now in the,
in the fishing expedition that Jesus made, the last fishing trip he went on with the disciples
was the sea of Galilee. John 21 says this, and this is Simon Peter, that Simon Peter went up
and drew the net to land full of great fish and 153. Now notice this. Peter goes up, draws the
net to land and there's 153 fish for all. There were so many yet the net was not broken. Now in
that story of John 21, 11, why did they count the fish? All right. First of all, Jesus, uh, this
event happened after the resurrection of Jesus. He's fishing with his disciples. He said, I will
make you fishers of men. So what we're going to do, we're going to take the actual story and see
if we can find the clue as to what it's saying. They went out 200 cubits and the net was full.
Some people have tried to compare it with 200 cubits to the 2000 years. I don't do that here,
but some have done that. So the count of 53, 153 fish. So why did they count? Now, if we go back
to the parable that the kingdom of heaven is like a net cast into the sea and gathered every kind,
which one was full, they drew to shore and separated the good from the bad. If we tie in
that net catching fish and we put the number 153, the, the net represents the time of the kingdom
at the end of the age, when there will be a separation. Well, the reason I'm sharing this
with you is I thought this was what I'm going to share with you here is extremely interesting
because of in world war one, the nations that were on earth, there was 100 nations on earth in 1980.
The, the UN noted in, I should say in the eighties, not 1980, but in the eighties,
that there was 153 recognized nations on the earth. And on May 1st, 2008, the UN had 192
total nations listed. The state department has 194 nations listed. Now, why am I telling you
this? Because in the time of the end, there's going to be a coalition of 10 Kings giving their
kingdom to the beast. In revelation chapter 16, verse 12, there's going to be a coalition of the
Kings of the East joining one unit. If we take the units, OPEC has a unit, the EU has a unit,
okay, of nations. But if we take the nations that are in units and make them one unit,
is it possible at the end of the age, there will be a total of 153 nations represented by the 153
fish caught at the Galilee at the time of the end. Now that's yet to be seen, but I think there's
a great, great possibility to all of this. Now, in my conclusion, let me just share something with
you that this, that's very, very, very important that in our study of prophecy and the study of
end time things, that it's important that we look at the whole picture. That many times when we
study the symbols, as we did earlier, we will find clues in those symbols that can help us to
understand the culture of the day and help us to understand what we're reading. Bible study is very,
very significant and very, very important to study the depth of the word, to study word studies in
the Greek and the Hebrew, to study the history that existed. Oh, how the Bible comes alive when you
know these things. Also the parabolic principles of scripture, meaning that in the parables is a
story within the story and those stories that relate to the coming of the Lord at the time of
the end are extremely significant for us because it's in these stories we get the clues and the
nuggets that help us to understand the battles at the time of the end, what will happen at the time
of the end and what will happen when the Lord returns. So I'm trusting that this study has
enlightened you, it has helped you, it will make you think and that it is something that you can
use and I just hope that we've given you a nugget of some kind that you can hold on to. Now in line
with that, let me just mention that we have initiated an internet Bible research school.
That Bible research school is called ISO, the International School of the Word. You can actually
go online and you can watch on your computer screen all sorts of teaching. I did a teaching
with the Lifesize Tabernacle, Demonology 101, the Nine Gifts of the Holy Spirit. They're divided up
into 30-minute lessons and after each lesson you can take a knowledge test to see what you retained
and it really helps you to retain the information. Now while the school is not accredited, you can
receive a certificate for different programs. One of the most exciting programs we have is our
program that deals with ministerial studies, Mentoring Institute Part One and the Advanced
Mentoring Institute Part Two. We tape these mentoring institutes 24 hours of in-depth
mentoring for ministry. If you're burdened or called for the ministry, you need to go online
and take these courses. People actually pay to come to these mentoring institutes staying in
Cleveland for three days as they were mentored on a continual basis. I want to teach you what I've
learned in the past 42 to 43 years of ministry and I can't do that all the time by a TV program
which is 22 minutes in length or 23 minutes in length and I can't do that but I can do it through
the school. So ISO, International School of the Word, iso.org, go online and check it out and at
least take one of those courses and I think you will learn a lot in the Word of God because one
thing I found out years ago I was coming through the office and I saw all these cabinets and I saw
just just closets of notes, notes, notes. I'm talking about so many notes that they would fill
up just about everything around me and I thought what's going to happen to me if I go to be with
the Lord before Jesus comes back? What's going to happen to all these notes? And I thought it would
be a waste for me to spend 170, who knows how many, before the Lord comes or calls me home,
hours, 170,000 hours of Bible study and somebody just box it up and that's why we felt led to start
the International School of the Word so that everything we've learned you can gain. We also
have a biblical commentary. Our New Testament has been completed by the time this is presented.
Our Old Testament will be coming out soon so it's a commentary on the Bible. So much is going on.
Why do I do what I do? People have asked me why do you study 10-15 hours a day and the answer
is very simple. I really believe the Lord's coming and I believe our lamp should be burning,
the oil should be in our oil lamp and we should be on fire for God and do everything we can do
for Him. Ladies and gentlemen, according to the parables not only do we watch and pray but Jesus
said occupy till I come. It is important now that you do more for the Lord than you ever have before.
It's important now that you get full of the Word, full of faith and full of the Holy Spirit.
It's important that you do, even if it's just prayer and intercession, do something every day
that's significant as your part in the Kingdom of God and never forget to be a giver in whatever
God has blessed you with and be a steward over everything He's granted you to have.
