Inside This Modern Tiny House You Might Love // Lux Retreat

Welcome back to the channel everybody. Today we're going to be touring this tiny house right here behind me, The Luxe Retreat. We are in Shenandoah, Virginia. Never been here before. This place has a really cool layout inside, very functional and spacious. Let's go check it out. Welcome back to the channel everybody. It's a beautiful morning here, and when we pull up onto the property here in Shenandoah, Virginia, we're at the back of the tiny house, The Luxe Retreat. Plenty of parking. If we take a look around, we are in total privacy. You can see the mountains behind us, the meadow, beautiful views, the birds are chirping. I've seen lots of deer here whenever I was here for one night. But anyway, we'll start with the tour, and we'll walk up into this back deck space. Here on the right side, we have an electric charger, if you bring your electric car here. Nice deck. I love the black metal cladding on this tiny house. Now it probably doesn't look that tiny, but the floor plan is under 500 square feet, which is nice, and the black metal cladding even on the roof. So it all blends in together, and we'll continue on the deck space. Grill here on the left side, can't go wrong. We have the doors that lead into the inside. We'll get to there later in this video, but we'll start with these cool amenities right outside your front door. The first one is this cold plunge. It is set to 54 degrees, which is about the temperature it is today. So that would be a really cold dip in the water. If you're into that, I know these are becoming more and more popular. So having these at Airbnbs is becoming more and more of an amenity. So really cool there. Then we have your hot tub here in this deck space. Beautiful views from the hot tub. You can see the mountains all the way over there. Shenandoah, and just an amazing viewpoint up here in the hot tub. Plenty of space in there. Then we have your front deck space right over here on the right side. Two chairs in front of your massive windows that let in amazing natural light. But the front of the tiny house is just incredible looking. All the glass, the black metal with the wood, and even that darker wood accent beam above. Got the blue sky and the green meadow behind. This is like such a good setting for this tiny house. And just lots of deck space here. All of your amenities up on the deck is really nice. And now off of the deck, we have a couple more items. This right side has your fire pit area. They provide some wood and fire starter for you. And then on the left side, there's the sauna. The sauna is the baby to the tiny house. Same black metal exterior cladding. Walking inside, there are two levels of seating here in the sauna. Wood all around, of course. Typical sauna lug with the rocks, and you pour the water on them. If you're into saunas, this is awesome. So we have a cold plunge, hot tub, and a sauna. The outdoor amenities are incredible. So that's everything here. We'll walk back up through this path. There's the wood they leave for you. And through the front doors. And check out the interior. Walking inside, we have the living room, the kitchen, and the dining all in this space. If we look up to the ceilings, we have the exposed wood rafters up there. I love that look a lot. Adds a lot of detail and just aesthetic in here, if that's what you're going for. The living room is here on the left side. Two puffs with the coffee table in the middle. The couch up against this wall. This is a pretty large couch. It can be converted into a queen-sized bed if needed. And this all is next to these floor-to-ceiling windows, which we all love. We saw them on the outside. Amazing natural light, and you can see the mountains through the windows as well. It's morning right now, so the sun is shining inside, and that morning light cannot go wrong at all. And this all faces your TV mounted on the wall. Wood mantel. And then below this, we have the electric fireplace for some cozy nights. I was sitting here watching some Sunday Night Football last night. I couldn't complain. So we'll turn back around, and now we have the kitchen and dining room space. In the middle, we have this island. There's two seats here. Nice black leather seating. And then the countertop itself. The veining is incredible with the white, the gray, and the black. Gives it a lot of detail and character. And then we have the kitchen over here in this corner. Full-size kitchen. Has everything you need. Cooktop on the right side with four burner plates. Lots of cooking can happen here if needed. Microwave above, but this is also an oven. So I was cooking some chicken last night. It worked great. These are all cafe appliances as well. Turning to the left, the sink is in the middle of these two windows here. Lots of utensils on our countertop. Two wood floating shelves above here. I like the tile black splash. The vertical white tile adds a little bit of extra character into this kitchen. And then on this left side is the refrigerator. The higher-end cafe fridge with the freezer below, and there is a water dispenser inside, which is great. Above that, we have the AC and heating unit as well. Plenty of space in the cabinets below as well. And then on this right side is the last thing in the space. It's the coffee bar. Cool coffee machine. I've never seen this before. It was pretty easy to use though. And some dishes and utensils and extra storage space over here. So that is everything inside this main space. Lots of room here. I know it might look larger on camera. I have a new lens today. I'm using a 10 millimeter. If you know anything about cameras, that is a really wide-angle lens. Autofocus, I'm just testing it out. So this makes it look really spacious, and I like to be able to see everything on camera. So that's why I'm using a wide-angle lens. Anyway, we continue down this hallway. There are two doors. The first door on the left, this is your utility closet with a washer and dryer. This is the same one I have in my house actually, and it works great. And then the right door is locked, so it's probably just a closet or something. And then we enter into your bedroom space. Private from the living room, and in here there is a king-size bed. They barely fit one in here, but it does fit. And there are some lights above. We have a window over here. And then if we close this door around this corner, we have some robes for that hot tub or for the shower. And then there are some yoga mats hanging up on this wall. So functional bedroom. King-size bed is always nice to have. And then we'll enter into the bathroom space. Vanity with a circle mirror with the light. I always like those lights and mirrors. And then we have your toilet underneath the window, and your shower. Really nice shower. Slide open the glass, and black fixtures can't go wrong at all. Very spacious bathroom, and it's just clean. Has everything you need. So that is everything in here. We'll walk back out here into the living room, and that is everything here at the Lux Retreat Tiny House in Shenandoah. Also, if you're wanting to get out of the tiny house, the Shenandoah River is like one minute away. Public boat ramp right here. The river is beautiful. Also, the Shenandoah National Park is like 20 minutes away. There's caverns, as well, all around. Whenever I was driving, there's signs for caverns everywhere. Being in a cavern is one of the coolest things I've ever done. So lots of cool things to do in the area.
