yeah good signal strangely enough I'm not sure how good this quality is going to be because we are right at the edge of the drainage line but double-crossing but for me it's nice and clear favorite parts to eat first of the soft bits so at the ramp open up the stomach and get the liver and heart and lungs and those sort of things so they're not particularly interested in feeding the little ones on the left-hand side here to the right hand side behind the tree you can just see there the red there they've almost completely eaten at one whole Velda beast there and they're just starting on this second one now what are they feeding on they're feeding on two separate little beasts did they catch to it once well it looks like it it looks like they cut two at the same time there's quite a few lionesses in the pride as well as all the youngsters and they go for four different individuals at the same time looks like they've though the beasts must have been coming down to drink just behind where they are is the river they've got them in the thickets here to the youngsters participate in the Hunts - they try they usually mess it up at this age all aged between the one and two years at the moment they're still learning so the lionesses will try and leave them behind while they conduct a a major hunt they will still give chase when they can [Music] just take this necklace you can see pride around 15 I missed the last question about how old they are when they start feeding on meat that's gonna start bringing in tomatoes young six weeks loaded up TV everybody else that's watching there you can see the comments friends of mine from further down there the country in Kenya and they from the coast there how many males there are two males dominant over this pride at the moment we had them on stream two days ago also feeding on a villa beast what are they eating to Velda beasts they've got two separate Velda beasts one on the left-hand side one on the right-hand side [Music] it true the dark man males are a lot stronger than a male with a blonde domaine not really no the only slight truth and that would be that male with the blonde main tend to be a bit younger than the males with the darker Mane so they that would be it but two males of the same age one with the dark mane one with the blonde mane and they would be fairly evenly matched the dark mane isn't really a sign of strength a lot of people say it's a sign of higher testosterone levels but you see lions when they get sick and their testosterone levels dip their Mane falls out it doesn't change color again it doesn't go lighter if they get sick it stays black so that's not actually true just means that their father had a dark mane as well [Music] [Music] if you guys can see the cub on the left busy pretending to kill the already that thought of East bearded canoe there's no hyenas around that they've killed this during the day after the Haines has gone back to their sleeping spots and my hands aren't aware yet then will this fill them up couple of days maybe because they are such a large prime that's not a lot to go around you've seen them the last four days eating [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] do the mail visit their father after getting kicked out of the pride only if they want to take over the pride that their fathers have once they've been kicked out they generally go somewhere else to take over another territory but they may come back and take over from their own fathers but it wouldn't be friendly I lankan this feeling last them whether that the actual time they take to eat they'll probably be finished both of these build a beast by the morning and then they may not hunt again for another couple of days there are a lot of lions and the price that they may need to hunt again even tomorrow afternoon it depends I'm not recording I'm not streaming 4k on this camera I'm recording on another camera on 4k which I will upload later the quality of the picture is due to the strength of the stream not the quality of the camera right now [Music] a lone male line take down a fully grown cape buffalo ball yes yes they can with a lot of work but they can [Music] [Music] are we able to be so close to them well they're very used to vehicles in the area and we're not that close you never look you just zoom down you see we're all the way over here and the Lions are all the way over there but inside the car it's fine they're not interested in the people if we were to be outside the car they wouldn't be so happy with us [Music] [Music] thinks [Music] [Music] how much is the chance of survival for the Cubs to become adults at this age between one or two years it's higher than it was six months ago the only problem they're facing is these six new young males in the area that may try and push the dominant males out here these curves are still under three years old at that point there is a chance that they would kill the Cubs but we won't know until that happens last question a lone male can take a health people a healthy bull Buffalo would still be part of the big herds it's very likely that a single male line would take on a healthy ball and have a big herd of buffalo but they can take a bull on its own out of the head of the dagger boys supposed calling in the back no no if the Mike's picking minute I think we're going to slowly start moving on activity slowing down a bit motive if the Lions are going to sleep in the bushes behind so we'll see if we can find something else and we can get the stream what time is it here yeah so we're going to see if we can find anything else see if it is in an area where we can stream I didn't expect to be able to stream this I know it's not particularly good quality coming through to you guys but that's due to where we are we're right in the dip right in the river and that's the first time we've actually been able to get anything out from this low down he's also
