Succulent plant

A MUST WATCH for succulent addicts! This amazing succulent haul is from a local grower. The plants are acclimated to my area with temperature range of -10°C/14°F to 42°C/107.6°F. They are grown to perfection and have recently survived a few frosty and wet mornings. #succulent #garden #planthaul
This would have to be the most scrumptious, beautiful, delicious looking box of succulents
I have ever seen together in one box. Hello there, my name is Liz, a self-confessed
succulent addict. Welcome to my channel, Growing Succulents. I bought these plants locally from
FLO Plant Creations, a local seller that also hybridizes their own succulent. These are all
locally grown and are well acclimatized to our weather here in Canberra. These are quite a lot
of plants to go through, so I'm going to try and be quick, but I am not going to take away the
enjoyment of getting to know each of these beautiful babies. These are the five plants
that I first bought from Faye. She has a Facebook page where in every Tuesday she lists all these
plants for sale. So you get to have a preview on a Monday and on a Tuesday she posts it. The first
one to put salt on the item gets to buy the plant. She also has a website wherein she also sells
seeds. So I'll put a link down in this video in the description box for her website where you can
find some seeds for sale and of course some beautiful succulents. So these are the first
ones that I bought. So it's a variegated plant and I am obsessed with variegated plants and this one
is only small but it's beautiful. So, so far it's got some dry leaves. This is my second week that
I had this and I've been meaning to do a video but just didn't get around to it. So this Floridity
here is just beautiful. The color is just so yummy. It's only a small plant but the good thing about
buying from her for me is that because since the plants are locally grown I know that the plant can
handle our frosty weather because we do get frost in Canberra and she grows this plant just all
outside out in the open. She does have certain areas wherein she keeps the frost sensitive
succulents under a 50% shade cloth area. So her plant is well suited to my growing condition.
So this is my second Floridity that I bought in the last couple of weeks. Next one is Rococo.
This I would say is a Korean hybrid. I think it's a sort of a Sedum but it's just nice and chubby
and this one I've seen photos of this one were in its stress and it sort of turns like a nice
lemony color when they become mature. Next one I've got three heads so I'm just making sure
that there's no rotting ones but this one's now okay anything that's sort of dark that can't be
help. You have to remove it so I remove a couple of leaves and that one too. So this one's now I
think they're stressing out because they are used oh there's a baby there but the baby's going no
not yet. So they are used to being watered and being outside and this one has been sitting
in here in my kitchen bench because we've had rain and I have to bring them inside so they
don't get rained on. So anyway that one is three headed and to me this I like buying
multiple clusters because I can grow and propagate them faster than buying a single
plant. So anyway I didn't even see that baby there. Anyways beautiful plant I don't have a
mature German Champagne plant so I'm really curious to see what this is going to look like
when it grows up under my care. So the last of the magnificent five is called Daddeleia
Pulverulenta. Beautiful plant so this is one of those live forever is another name for Daddeleia
very suitable for our growing condition here in Canberra. I've got other Daddeleias but this one
is the biggest one I've ever had so nice and big look at that gorgeous and I think they grow quite
big as well so and they're accustomed to the frost they like the cold and also in summer is when they
go dormant but in autumn and also in winter is their time for growing and all through spring
the minute it warms up they will go to sleep and go dormant. Are you listening? Since she's local
so I went to pick up my plants instead of having it sent to the post and while I was there I saw
another beautiful Daddeleia. This Daddeleia is just so fat look at that it's like so chubby chubby
but anyway if you want to know how much this costs then go to her website and you can find out
I don't know if she's got them in stock or she's got them listed there but anyway it's just
beautiful plant it's fat it's like really fat. This one is called Vincent Cato Hybrid so this
is a nice cluster Vincent Cato and apparently there isn't or I had a original small version
of Vincent Cato before but it died on me so hopefully it didn't get the chance to actually
grow this big and put out babies like that so the ones I've got was really small to start off with
it did form or grew babies but it did not get very big and eventually it died because lack of water
I think I don't know if she's got this on her website but this one I paid $35 for this cluster
so her prices vary according to the size of the plant and also the amount of plants that you have
so of course the clusters are more expensive than a single plant. This is Echeveria Camano Puebla
I had this plant for about two and a half years and I just love it I love the dark tips and
pointiness and I love that it's so easy to look after because all I did was just planted this and
I forgot about it and it's been exposed to full sun the frost the rain hail just bounces off
a little bit of snow and it just lives and I haven't even cleaned this up for a long long
time and you can see the leaves in bottom there are drying they're just drying but still it lives
it's beautiful or should I say it's become more beautiful as it ages and this plant
I just love so much that I was wanting to buy more if ever I see some more I'm gonna go get
some more and some more I did I bought four more from her so I got more Camano Puebla look at this
you're crazy he she says okay I'm not crazy I just love the plant and they are slow growing
and it takes a long time before they could grow to even this big and it has a beautiful blue
hue so it's like dark and very mysterious I just love love love love it and you rarely have plants
that are sort of in the blue tone like this one so that's why I decided to get some more and then
plant them all in a big bowl and so I can have a big bowl of blue Camano Puebla or you can call it
Puebla for short and while we are on the topic of mysterious and dark so I think my understanding
is that it's a hybrid and she doesn't have a name for it so right there and then when I bought this
one I said what are we gonna call this what are you gonna call it she said I don't know so I said
how about let's call it Echeveria Morticia doesn't that look beautiful okay you've seen the price
but anyway it's cheaper and that's actually cheaper it's gonna cost you more if you buy it
from her I think no so that's what I paid for it $45 but only because it's just beautiful and
there's bigger ones there but I couldn't afford $60 so I said okay I'll just get the $45
small one so this is small there's one about that big but anyway isn't she beautiful Morticia
you are so fine look at you gorgeous doesn't that look like a Morticia isn't it
so Echeveria Morticia an FLO plant creation hybrid beautiful look at that gorgeous love it
this is Echeveria tipi I have tipis lots of tipis very easy to grow plant but I don't have a cluster
like this and this is absolutely gorgeous and I paid an arm and a leg for it but I don't care
how much should I pay very expensive only because it's a big plant so I just like the way
the size as well so this one is tipi has got sort of facets on the surface of the leaves
there's so basically growth lines but the cresting is just gorgeous so anyway this one
most of these plants by the way that I've got or I'm showing you today I'm gonna leave them
in the pots that they're in until the weather warms up so they can still stay in these pots for
a while but these ones I'm gonna repot so I will be showing that in future videos potting up some
crested plants so and this will be one of them so anyway so another addition to my crested
obsession Echeveria tipi crested the next plants I've got to show you are double so what do you
think do you think they're the same plant or plants these two are called Echeveria agarboides
golden bear one is a monstrose form which is just so gorgeous isn't it beautiful and this one is
sort of slightly variegating so this is actually the normal form and this one is I look at that
and I thought is that a variegation maybe so anyway so this is what the normal one looked
like and this is the monstrose form so Echeveria golden bear so these are my teddy bears it looks
like teddy bears but anyway I am such a twit beautiful bears gorgeous bears the next ones
are okay double because I've got triple head and double sets of plants so this is Cassio
Echeveria cassio monstrose form I think this one on the right so it's got beautiful I love the
shape so I just love the shape it's like flame and also the color look at that very like low to
see you know gorgeous look at the strands like I think the silk variegation this is actually
silk variegated so this one might not be the same I don't know whether it is just small but anyway
I paid the same price for each of these so only because this one as well is a bigger plant she's
got cheaper ones there but I picked the bigger plant this one's got three heads so I like three
heads because again the more the merrier and look at the when they're still young they got darker
tips as well so anyway beautiful plant I just love love love love love the shape I had one before but
it died on me so I thought I'll go get a double trouble cluster and single as well so beautiful
beautiful plant so the next one is a very miniatured one this is a Echeveria elensino
so this plant is looks like a minima Echeveria minima but this is more smaller so I think the
biggest one would about be about that size I don't know how many millimeters that is but not very big
so these are more on the small plants and this one is a cluster so I would have paid the same
amount of price for the bigger one which is single and this one is a cluster I think slightly
a little bit more paid for this but it doesn't matter I prefer the cluster because at least I've
got four plants to play with so anyway Echeveria elensino next one I'm gonna try and be quick or
it's gonna be long so this one is called amazing grace normally this grows quite big she's got a
big plant there but it's just too expensive so I picked this small one okay I paid $25 for it
but I don't know how much she sells it on her website but nevertheless this one I look forward
to transplanting this because this one now has outgrown its pot it's small pot so this can be
transplanted and another the same shape so it's got the same shape but different look so most of
these plants that you see here now even those two there are sort of similar shape but this one is a
bit more open and that one's more compact so this one is called pure love so gorgeous nice pink tone
now this next one is called Echeveria snow knight so this one I think is a Laoi hybrid and beautiful
plant it goes all translucent when grown mature and stress then it's like a gemstone just beautiful
now the next ones are these are two of the red velvet that I've got that I bought from her the
other one's smaller and already potted it but these ones are a little bit bigger so and they
started to color up so when mature this one's I've seen her mature one is just beautiful pink
I don't know if it's the same plant as red velvet so I think when they go red people will sell it
to you as red velvet so anyway so this one is still green at the moment but I'm hoping that
eventually as the name suggests that it will go red delicious beautiful look at those tips
ladies and gentlemen this is Echeveria tromso it's a Laoi hybrid I don't know the parents but
anyway it's just beautiful so this one apparently is still a baby and babies look like this but
she's the only baby there that look like that so anyway and I got her and the normal one apparently
when they mature they will also look like the baby one so this is a mature Echeveria tromso
look at that see so this is a Laoi hybrid and I don't like touching Laois because they easily
get marked see that one there so the farina comes off easily but the one on the left isn't just
delicious isn't it oh I just love it I could just eat it so anyway both of them are tromso
and a mature one and a baby one so I'm just hoping that the mature one later on will revert back to
being beautiful like this little baby look at that it's so gorgeous recently I bought an Echeveria
Maxwell this is oh sorry this is Sedeveria Sedeveria Maxwell now this one I bought it I already got a
Sedeveria Maxwell I bought from Nora89 also on Facebook but anyway hey this one has got babies
look so I thought yeah I might as well get her because the other one didn't have babies and this
one's already got babies so it's a Laoi and Echeveria Laoi and Sedum Clavatum hybrid anyway
beautiful nice fat shape so it looks very similar to a Monroe now I have two Maxwell's I have white
champagne pink champagne and another I think might be a green champagne but anyway this one is a
red wine champagne so this one has got a double head so I thought I might as well
get some champagne some Champagne because I don't think I have enough champagne in my life
and now this is also another champagne but this is a red champagne so I now have pink red
white German that's it because I have the German earlier and another champagne so oh yeah I got
yeah two white I know anyway I'm confused now so I've got a few champagnes about six
different champagnes now so should I get some more champagnes no I think I should
have enough champagne because I'm just getting it because of the shape I really want to grow
them and stress them out not really stress them out what I like to say is torture them
so anyway so they would grow beautiful but this one has got a couple of this is a flower so
inflorescence and after finding out that's in the center as well you can see it's about to flower
as well so when the flower pops out I need to remove that so that way it stops the mealybug
but I'm gonna let it grow since this one is producing all these plants on the side I want
to harvest these leaves and grow it and there's actually more flower in there hiding in there
it's about to come out as well so maybe this is a good papa I don't know but anyway I need to
propagate more champagne so I'm gonna end up with a lot more red champagnes so this one is quite a
big plant and that's what I paid for it so anyway and then the other one is double-headed so to me
this is a bargain for what I paid for it Echeverria Salmon Cluster I bought one salmon and it got
eaten because it was delicious no it died on me but it's okay so now I have a cluster now this one
as well to make it grow faster I will be repotting this as well and it's really dry so it's begging
to be watered as well so anyway this one is so it works out put it this way ten dollars a head
that's what it cost me the next one I've got is also double trouble so these are two the same plant
this is called Caspidata V I don't know what the V stands for variety maybe no yes San Roberto
Cross Ruben so this looks very different from each other so apparently they do throw off different
looks and also some of them get weeds like this one so we just pull that out I can't help it
so I've been wanting to pull that out but anyway so there you go another addition it's a bit hard
Caspidata V San Roberto Cross Ruben so I think we should come up with a much easier name for this
can we I don't know Cura maybe so many names anyway so that's what happens when you hybridize
it with something that's been hybridized as well but anyway beautiful plant see those claws see I
call them eyelashes there you go eyelashes look at that the flicky of the eyelashes look at that
sharp it looks very dangerous so anyway but it's beautiful I love it this is just beautiful this
is called Echeverria White Lava why is it white lava because it's pink it doesn't make sense why
would you give it a name called white lava maybe it's got something to do with the white farina
that it has that it got from its mummy which is the Echeverria Lawi so this is another Echeverria
Lawi hybrid but anyway it's just so beautiful I think it's Kante Cross Lawi so which is gorgeous
you can see the shape of the leaves is from the Kante and the farina is from the Lawi already
have a Rubidonna but this one is crested so crested head in the center Graptoveria Rubidonna
crested and I think it's just beautiful it's got that nice soft pink and my Rubidonna that
Lenalee gave me is still alive so this one now I have a crested one next one is small but terrible
this is Echeverria Olivia variegata or variegated Olivia and I got two heads so this one I wasn't
gonna buy it but then she was picking up another plant and she accidentally hit it fell on the
ground so I said to her okay she's coming home with me and she said it's not yet ready and I
said it doesn't matter if you want to sell it to me right here right now I will take it so I did
so now she's going on under the grow light so she'll grow much much faster
this is Pachypaetum brachiosum that I have always been after nice and fat look at that
gorgeous and I just want to pet it like this and it's really hard it's like a rock so this is where
they got the name moonstone so this is the proper moonstone not the pink moonstone which is the
which is the lavender pebbles because people refer to the lavender pebbles as pink moonstone
if you grow it like the pink bunny maybe it's like a moonstone but to me this is what a
moonstone feels like it's like stone it's like see I'm slapping it and it's saying to me
stop slapping me and this one I love so much I bought three of them so anyway I'm not gonna
tell you how much it cost me but cost me a fair bit but it doesn't matter I love it when you love
something that's it I don't even look at the price I just buy it so or else I won't be able to sleep
I just kept thinking about it which I did I actually bought one this one first first one
and then I went back a week later and bought two more so Pachypaetum brachiosum the proper
moonstone gorgeous plant I love it I love it so this one is actually a freebie so she gave me
this one for free we thought it was rotting she was about to throw it away and I said can I keep it
so she gave it to me but as it turned out it's just the plant saying I want to come home with
so anyway so I got this one for free and she also gave me another beautiful one for free so these
are my freebies this one is a cheveria scarlet rose so hot see there you go now this one looks
like big bird's head see the beak so big bird from Sesame Street so this one did not have a name
but it's crested so I said to her okay I'll buy it but anyway so I put crested big bird and I had
a look online it looks very similar to princess bing jin so but it was an unknown hybrid so I have
to give it a name so I'm gonna call this one crested big bird instead but as a reference
bing jin just in case it grows and it happens to look like a bing jin so we will change the name
to bing jin but anyway another beautiful cresting this just looks like big bird next one is sedeveria
caramel spirit anyway this one is just so cute one of those cute look at that isn't that gorgeous
this small miniatured ones so this one is only ten dollars so it is a bargain so caramel spirit
so we're gonna grow more spirit with this ones I'm sure they're easy to propagate and fast growing so
they will just go in the garden or maybe I should try and grow them in a pot first and see what
happens now the next one is a wish list for a long time I've been wanting to buy a cottelid and
isn't that beautiful gorgeous anyway I paid sixty dollars for it so I got two heads and it's just a
beautiful beautiful plant so I get to tick off on my wish list I still have to get a round form but
that's another video so anyway there you go now the next one this I love love love love love love
Angela okay 35 okay that's what I paid for it but anyway so just again bear in mind it's cheaper
when you buy it in person so but anyway I get to see the plants and touch it and call out to me
so normally I go past first and forget about the plant and then I sort of go around and go back to
the same plant again so and that's how I decide which one to buy so I buy it according to emotional
attachment when I see something beautiful and say oh what's that one for the 10th time oh okay Angela
okay we'll bring that home with me anyway it's really Angela beautiful plant and if you haven't
got it I suggest I highly suggest you get one because it's just a beautiful shape and beautiful
color and very hard and compact and I don't know it's just beautiful plant I love it I love it
next one is this is Laolensis cross pretty in pink so this is beautiful plant the next one
is ice rose look at that beautiful this looks like a variegated lovely rose but this is called
ice rose so the variegation you can see the variegation there so it's sort of the shape I
love the shape I love the variegation and what's not to love another addition to my variegated
collection the next one is Echeveria ice berry cress what are you talking about what cress are
you talking about crested plant monstros variegated there you go so that's the classic isn't that cute
it's just so cute it's not gonna stay cute for long it's gonna grow up to be ugly
I like that one but no it's gonna be staying crested I hope I hope only bigger but it'll
be beautiful anyway for 10 bucks so can't complain the next one is Graptoveria custard
so this is a hybrid between lavender pebbles and pretty and pink so and it's only small
wonder why it's small I think it's from the pretty and pink side but pretty and pink can
be big as well so anyway so I thought I don't have a plant that looks like this so I might as
well get it so so this is an aflo hybrid called Saralina so Sarahibi botan cross hyalina and
it happened to be a crested one so I love the color and it's beautiful so maybe that one will
grow normal and maybe that's part of the crested but I love it so yep I think it is so that's
whole row one two three four five crested and just one on the side saying I'm getting out of
here and this one is more I think so it's actually a really even crossing you can't tell which one is
the mummy and which one is the daddy they're all a beautiful combination of hybridization so anyway
as to how that looks this small one when it grows is remain to be seen but anyway otherwise
beautiful plant and it's crested of course now I'm getting to the end now this one is in the
gorgeous color beautiful beautiful this is a Romeo Ruben hybrid and I've got two headed so I can't
complain so this one needs to be potted up because it's being stifled I can't grow so if I
put this in a big pot then it will grow bigger again so now beautiful plant beautiful gorgeous
gorgeous I love red I love red I love red I love red okay I'm gonna start singing I can't
because I'm sleepy now the next lot the last ones okay this might look all the same but they're not
so this one is a red psyche beautiful plant isn't it so I'm not gonna stuff around I'm not gonna
show you how much I paid for it but that's what it is I'm gonna psyche you at beautiful plant
been after one for a long time and finally I've got it so now these ones are not psyche these ones
are called Manchaca cross Ruben so I'm not sure whether this is her hybrid but anyway it's
beautiful so I can't help it I bought one and then I came back for the other two so we actually
searched it out so and then finally I found two and I said I'm taking them with me so anyway guys
this is all I've got this is the last but beautiful Manchaca Ruben so and did I put two
yes the second set so I paid 28 for it but anyway so each plant okay so there we go that's all for
this plant haul my crazy plant haul and now I have so much plants that I don't need to buy
anymore for a long long while so September probably just a song I'll see you in September
when summer is gone is that how it is okay not in Australia because September is just the start of
spring so which is coming on to summer so anyway guys is probably from the northern hemisphere so
that's all the plant haul I've got for you so I hope you enjoyed that as much as I enjoyed showing
it to you some of this I will report and of course I'm gonna try and do a video and some I will leave
them in their pots until the weather warms up so thank you so much for watching and hope I'll see
you on the next video bye for now
