Welcome back to my channel.
If you're new here, my name is Alyssa.
Today, I have got a really exciting video.
I'm gonna show you how to make plant milk
four different ways.
That's eight, but four different ways.
I have got a almond milk, a cashew milk, an oat milk,
and a delicious hemp and coconut milk.
So I can't wait to share this recipe with you.
I am actually sharing today's video
in collaboration with Almond Cow.
And if you've never heard of Almond Cow, it is incredible.
They have a machine that makes nut milk so easy.
Like literally, it could not be easier
to make nut milk at home or any plant milk, really.
And what I personally love about Almond Cow
is that it is incredibly easy to use.
It's fast, like it can make nut milk in about two minutes.
It is also easy to clean,
and it is incredibly budget-friendly.
Almond milk can range up to $4, sometimes even more,
at the store for like a 64-ounce container of almond milk,
or really any kind of plant milk.
And the ones that are strictly almond or nut and water
tend to be even more expensive than that.
You can use Almond Cow and get that same amount of milk
in about 55 cents.
So it's incredibly budget-friendly,
definitely worth the investment.
I love mine.
And the beauty of it is that you can have
delicious plant milk in pretty much any variety
you could think of.
Like I said, today we're doing almond, cashew, oat,
and a hemp coconut, but you could also use rice.
You could use quinoa.
There is like no end to possibilities.
It's amazing.
And it also is sustainable
because there are tons of ways that you can use the pulp,
and there aren't any wasteful cartons or anything like that.
Just use a reusable jar.
And lastly, another amazing thing, as you can tell,
I'm like obsessed with this product.
Another amazing thing about Almond Cow
is that it's only two ingredients.
It's just the nut or the grain that you're using and water.
No fillers, no additives, no sugar, no gum, no junk.
It is pure, clean, delicious, and it tastes incredible.
So I'm gonna show you how to use your Almond Cow
four different ways.
We're gonna make four different plant milks, like I said.
And if you are interested in learning more about Almond Cow,
I actually have a coupon code.
You can use Simply Quinoa to get $15 off your purchase.
So I've linked them down below.
So without further ado,
let's go ahead and dive into today's recipes.
And then at the end, I'll be back
sharing a little bit more about Almond Cow
and also some ideas for using your nut pulp.
So the first thing I wanna do is show you
what the Almond Cow is and the different components.
So this is the main Almond Cow base.
This is where you're gonna add in your water.
You also have the stainless steel filter basket,
and this is where you're gonna add your nuts,
your seeds, your grains,
and then attaching that filter basket to the top.
And this is what the top looks like.
It also has the blade,
which is where the filter basket connects,
and that is how it's going to get ground into its milk.
So super simple, and I'm gonna show you
how easy it is to use.
So we're gonna use Almond Cow's cashew pieces
in our first recipe, which is just a simple cashew milk.
We're gonna fill the filter basket up to the one cup line.
We are then going to attach the filter basket to the top.
Once it is secure, I'm going to fill the Almond Cow base
with water up to the midline,
which is about five cups of water.
Put the top on the base and then press the button.
From there, the Almond Cow will turn on,
and it's gonna go through three different cycles
of grinding.
It will pause, and then it will regrind,
and it will pause one more time, and then it will regrind.
And once it goes through those stages,
your cashew milk is done.
So you can just remove the top from the base,
and I let it drain just a little bit
to let any excess liquid go back into the main base.
And then you can just enjoy your milk.
This is their glass almond milk jar,
which I think is so cute.
I love that their logo is on it.
And this is the cashew milk, so it's nice and creamy.
It's a little bit on the thicker side.
So great for baking, so good with cereal
or granola in the morning, and just kind of neutral.
It's one of my favorites.
Next, we are going to make a vanilla almond milk.
We're gonna use Almond Cow's almonds here.
Again, we're gonna fill the filter basket
to the one cup line, and these are just raw almonds.
Add your water into your base,
and then add just a splash of vanilla
and a sprinkle of sea salt.
Then top your base with your top,
and once the light turns green and you plug it in,
you can press the little Almond Cow button on top.
And again, the Almond Cow will go through
three automatic stages of the milk-making process.
And then I remove the top, I let it drain a little bit,
and I just wanna show you the texture of this
and how you can see that there is no pulp
remaining in the milk itself.
And then just pour it into your jar.
And if you wanted to make this a tiny bit sweet,
you could also add a touch of maple syrup,
but I love the vanilla in baking, I love it in pancakes,
and it's also just really good to drink
with some chocolate chip cookies.
The third one I'm gonna make is a classic oat milk,
and they sell their own whole grain oats,
and actually whole grain oats are great for oat milk,
and it works so beautifully in the Almond Cow.
P.S., love that their bags are sustainable
and not made from plastic.
And then I'm gonna pour the oat groats,
or whole grain oats, into the filter basket.
And you can see here, that's what oats look like,
in case you didn't know.
And then you can attach the filter basket
to the Almond Cow top.
Again, add your water in to your base.
And again, we're gonna fill it to the min line,
which is about five cups.
Add the top directly onto the base, press your button,
and again, it will go through the three automatic stages
of the milk-making process.
Remove the top, and you'll see here
how much extra liquid just kind of drains off.
So I let that drain off, and then it comes
with this little plastic holder for the top
so that it can continue draining
while you pour the rest into your jar.
And of course, oat milk is like super trendy right now,
but for good reason, because it's super delicious.
But what I love about this recipe
is that it doesn't use any of the quote-unquote junk,
I will say, that other oat milks have.
A lot of oat milk recipes contain gums and fillers
and oils and just things that I find not necessary,
and this oat milk using the Almond Cow
is so creamy and delicious, and it would also be easy
to make with other flavors.
I also wanted to quickly show you the pulp
that came from the oat milk.
So you can see here, this is the leftover pulp,
and you can use pulp a bunch of different ways.
They have some recipes on their site,
but you can use it in baking, you can use it in granola,
you can use it for cereal, you can use it in your oatmeal
or overnight oats, it's really versatile
and it doesn't need to go to waste.
And then lastly, we're gonna make a hemp and coconut milk.
We are going to use Almond Cow's coconut shreds
as well as some hemp seeds.
And again, we're just going to add the ingredients
into the filter basket.
I'm doing half a cup of hemp seeds,
half a cup of coconut shreds,
and then I will attach the filter basket to the top again,
just kind of like making sure that it's flat
and even in the little filter basket.
Fill your Almond Cow with water to the midline again,
which again, five cups.
Pop the top on the base,
press that little Almond Cow button,
and again, for the last time I'll say,
let it go through its three automatic stages.
And from there, you will have beautifully delicious,
creamy hemp coconut milk.
The beauty of adding coconut into any of these mixes
is that it makes it so creamy,
it adds a little bit of fat to the texture,
which I find to be very satisfying
and again, really amps up that creamy texture.
And this is one of my favorite milks.
I sometimes will add vanilla to it,
sometimes I'll add a little bit of sweetness,
but it works deliciously with cereal or in baking
or in my pancakes or in my oatmeal.
And hemp obviously has a little bit of protein in it,
which is so great.
So this is definitely a winner
and one that I absolutely think you should try.
And there you have it, my friends.
That is how to make nuts slash plant milk four different ways.
I am so excited for you to try these recipes.
If you've never made homemade nut or plant milk at home,
you are going to be blown away by the flavor.
It tastes so good.
It is like flavorful,
but it's creamy and smooth and just delicious.
And the almond cow, as you can see,
is crazy simple to make.
It really takes about two minutes,
less than two minutes to make a whole jug
of your favorite milk.
And you can use pretty much any ingredient
that you can think of,
whether it's a nut or a grain.
So there are tons of different ways.
This is just four of my favorites,
and I hope you give it a try.
If you do wanna get your hands on almond cow,
I highly recommend it.
If you are somebody who is dairy-free or vegan,
this is going to save you a ton of money over the long run.
And like I mentioned,
it is saving you from getting the kind of almond milk
that uses a bunch of fillers or gums
or additives or preservatives.
You don't have any of that with the almond cow.
It's just pure, clean, deliciousness.
So if you do wanna try it,
you can use my coupon code, which is simply quinoa.
It's linked down below,
and that will get you $15 off your almond cow purchase.
And I'm excited to hear what you think.
Let me know which milk you're gonna try first.
I don't think you can go wrong.
And as I said, you can have tons of fun
with all of the different types of mixings
that you wanna do,
whether it's oat and almond and cashew, et cetera.
Have fun with it.
I hope you enjoy it.
