Hey guys! Today we are going to cook a dish from a German cuisine and that's a beer soup.
I've been looking through lots of recipes and when I stumbled upon this one I realized that
that's what I've been looking for for my entire life and I should definitely try this out.
So, no more words and let's do this!
Okay, so the most awful part is finally over.
If you could only know how much I hate cutting garlic and onion.
And now...
What's happening here?
The most responsible mission is to open up that lid.
So, there is no advertisement in here, but I specifically bought a beer that comes from Germany
to make that immersion into German culture even deeper.
We are going to try this with a knife, but...
No, maybe I should look it up.
How people open this ******* bottle?
Oh yeah, I guess I did it.
Oh no.
It's really close.
I'm going to do that, I'm sure.
I hope I don't break my knife.
Now the most satisfying part.
Let's add some paprika and herbs.
I've added some herbs and paprika and that's how it looks like right now.
I also guess I have to add some salt and sugar as because of the beer it could taste a little bit bitter.
I'm going to try it with a spoon.
That's the moment that we've been waiting for.
The beer soup is ready and I'm going to try this...
I'm a little bit excited how it's going to taste, so...
I guess we shouldn't wait too long and just...
I guess I added too much salt.
Yeah, like too much salt.
I spoiled it with salt.
Completely.
But, well you know, this bitterness of the beer, I still can feel it.
And I guess if I had not spoiled it, I would have given this soup...
9 points, but right now I give it 8 points out of 10.
My advice, do not put too much salt.
Because I was afraid that it's about to be too bitter, but as a result it got too salty.
But in general, it's really good.
Well, not everyone would like it.
The taste is still very specific.
Well, for beer fans it's the perfect dish, so I highly recommend this.
And for those who want to try something extraordinary in German...
So, you know what to cook.
Thank you very much for watching.
