Let's welcome these 5000 artists from across India as they present Jayati Jay Mamaha Bharatam. For the first time, 5000 artists are present at the Kartavya Path not just in front of the Salami stage, but on the entire Kartavya Path from one corner to the other. This means that the audience sitting in every enclosure will be able to enjoy this event together. Such an event with so many artists is not an ordinary thing. This highly engaging performance will include certain dance forms which are spreading their flavour for the first time like the Sintu folk dance, an ancient traditional dance form from the upper reaches of Himachal Pradesh gracing the plains of Delhi and being beamed across the world for the first time. In fact, the different layers of culture in our ancient land being showcased today. Traditional dance forms or folk forms are rooted in the daily lives of our people celebrating nature, celebrating work, and celebrating life.
