Rasmus Rescues A Point! ⚽️ | Bournemouth v Man Utd

Teams on the way out, Manchester United. I think, Ben, it's fair to say this is preparation, this is a warm-up. It is a Premier League game, there are still Premier League places on the line, but the priority for Manchester United is not necessarily this Sunday afternoon at Vitality Stadium. It's Thursday night at Athletic Club in Bilbao. This is Manchester United on the move, down the left-hand side with Kobe Meunier. Meunier cuts in front of the first tackle, gets away from the second one too, On the right-hand side, back in field it comes to Alejandro Garnacho. Garnacho into the penalty area, gets the shot away, and Garnacho rakes it just past the foot of the post, away to the left-hand side. It's a great effort. That's a tough challenge on Alejandro Garnacho. Referee is going to stop play, give the free kick. I mean, he's off the floor. I mean, that is... I mean, it's naughty, that. It is naughty. They're leg-breaking challenges. With Manchester United with a giant game on Thursday, they're the kind of challenges that you do not want to see. Ball's free in the penalty area. Shot comes in. Bournemouth have taken the lead. Antoine Semenyo arriving late. We're into the feet of Bruno Fernandes. Fernandes looking for one through the middle, towards Alejandro. Towards Alejandro Garnacho, who gets his shot away. The ball from Bruno Fernandes is unbelievable. It's fantastic, Ben. What a ball from Alejandro Garnacho. He's got runners right and left here. Alejandro Garnacho opens up for him. Strikes it, left-footed! It's a really good effort from Alejandro Garnacho, from 22, 23 yards out. Come back to the edge of the penalty area here from Bournemouth. Shot comes in. Just wide. Antoine Semenyo bending a left-foot effort from the edge of the penalty area. Here is the delivery. Into the box. Near post. Rattles off the crossbar. Well, Andre Iannone was all at sea. Couldn't get anywhere near him. We had one there that he had three play. Oh, dearie me. That's another heavy, heavy challenge that's gone in. He slips. Oh, dearie me. Pulls the red card from his top pocket and sends Evan Ilsen from the field. On the edge of the 18-yard box. Luke Shaw down the left-hand side. Cross comes in. Turns towards goal. Manchester United are level. Rasmus Hoyland. What a time to pop up. Rasmus Hoyland reacting fastest in the penalty area. And he punches the air. Referee blows the full-time whistle. And Manchester United do not have the opportunity to go and find the winner. But Manchester United pick up a point on their travels on the south coast. At full-time, Bournemouth 1, Manchester United 1.
