[S1 - Eps. 50] Back To The Mountains

I'm leaving the flat desert behind and I am heading back up north to complete my small round in Oman. This day I'm covering more than 400 kilometers so I was planning not to go off-road too much. But when one sees a beatiful dirt-track... one has to follow it! So I ended up riding 30 kilometres past beautiful mountains before continuing on paved road again. No regrets! This day also marks my last full day of riding in Oman. In my next video I'll already be crossing the border into the UAE! Exciting times ahead!
Good morning Internet, it is 9.07 in the morning
and welcome back to the channel
So I'm having a little bit of a late start
to be honest I was quite tired still from yesterday's ride
so I decided to sleep a little bit longer
but now I really have to go because today I'm riding to Sohar
which is quite far and especially
the route that I have in mind is taking a little bit longer again
so I don't think I'll have too much time
so I'm going to go off-road a lot
if I want to make it before dark
because it's quite a distance that I have to cover
but I'll see if I see some nice wadis on the way that I can enter a little bit
I will try that
in any case most of that area
or a part of that area I already explored with Peter
riding the CCM so
I've seen I think the most beautiful parts of road already
but if I see a nice track then I will definitely try it out
so let's go

So I'm about half way now
I just stopped to eat something
and so from here it's another 200 kilometers
more or less
and I'm happy I took that little
off-road part
I saw a small side track so I thought let's check it out
and then it was so beautiful that I kept on riding and riding
so in the end I did almost 30 kilometers on that off-road part
which was really awesome
but now I really have to get moving
because it's still quite far
so let's go

it was a really long day but the scenery was beautiful
especially that last part

but all the colors of the rocks
they were green and red
