Today I am riding from Dubai to Abu Dhabi so I can apply for my Turkmenistan visa at the Embassy in Abu Dhabi. Fingers crossed I will get it! I'd never seen Abu Dhabi, so I made a small tour around Abu Dhabi and another one when I reached Dubai again!
Good morning Internet, it is 6.32 in the morning
and welcome back to the channel. Today I am riding to Abu Dhabi because in Abu Dhabi there is an
embassy of Turkmenistan and I'm going to apply there for the visa. The reason that I'm going
to do that now already is that it takes a long time before they process your application
and even then so you might wait several weeks and then you still can get a no
because on average about 50 percent of the visa applications for Turkmenistan are denied
I'm going to try it anyway if you don't try you never know so I'm going to apply for it
but I'll show you on the map why I need this visa
but first of all so I am now in Dubai and I'm going to ride to Abu Dhabi so that's only an
hour and a half ride but anyway on Sunday I'll take the boat to Bandar Abbas in Iran
but if I want to cross into Central Asia so that is this area then I have to go via Turkmenistan
because you have Afghanistan here so there's no other way to cross from Iran into Uzbekistan you
have to go via Turkmenistan now if they deny my visa there are other ways because you can also
take a boat either I think from Iran or you have to go to Azerbaijan and you can take a boat to
Kazakhstan and then go into this area but obviously I want to do it with my motorbike so I
want to cross through Turkmenistan so that is what I'm going to try first to get my visa to cross from
Turkmenistan into Uzbekistan and because it takes several weeks to process your application I thought
I'm going to apply for it here in Abu Dhabi and if it gets approved I can pick it up in Tehran or
another embassy that doesn't matter it doesn't have to be the same embassy so that's the plan
apply for it in Abu Dhabi and pick it up in Iran and if I cannot pick it up because it's denied
I'll go for plan B or plan C or figure something else out so I have an appointment at the embassy
I couldn't record there again because there were signs everywhere no photography and stuff
so I stopped now at the coffee place to have my breakfast because I left so early in the morning
that I didn't even have time to have breakfast so I'm just having a panini and a coffee so that's
really nice but in any case the application was quite easy I just had to fill out some forms
show my Iran visa and give some photographs that was it anyway this morning riding to Abu Dhabi
it was just fog the entire way I was freezing and the visibility was really poor so I actually
didn't see anything of the way so what I will do after I finish my breakfast is make a small round
through Abu Dhabi see what's here because I've been to Abu Dhabi several times but only at the
airport so that doesn't really count so I'm gonna see a little bit of Abu Dhabi and then
it's the highest building in the world it's almost 830 meters high and I think it has 160 stories
or 160 floors you can go onto an observation deck I think it's on the 124th floor
but I've already done it a couple years ago when I was in Dubai so I'm not gonna do that again
but it's still pretty amazing building and it's the highest building in the world so
it's pretty cool I'm just gonna ride a small circle around Dubai again and then head back
to my hotel I am now on Palm Jumeirah I'll show you on Google Maps so this is the palm
and I'm standing here right right on the edge here so from this island you get a really nice
skyline view of Dubai this is a pretty cool place and there's nobody here I'm alone
it's absolutely nobody
I am back in the hotel so that was it for today I hope you liked this video if you did please
give me a big thumbs up and subscribe down below and in the next video I am going to
take the ferry to Iran so stay tuned for that
