Coco Gauff vs. Mirra Andreeva | 2025 Madrid Quarterfinal | WTA Match Highlights

Nice coverage there from Goff. Breaking right back. Again, Andreeva up to the challenge. This season as well as the last handful of years. Well done. And she's got the first hold. Disconnecting for a while. Andreeva gets her first hold and it's even at 2-0. Oh, that is exquisite. I mean, come on. If possible, Goff's put the pressure on today. That's all a good combination. Goff fending for herself and trying to stay in the rally. But Andreeva survives another threat. Very well done to take that early. Too deep. Coco, too good. And quite a turnaround from Coco Goff. The 21-year-old, mighty when facing the deficit. Runs off the final three games and wins 13 of the last 15 points to put the teenager on her heels. Goff a set away from her first semifinal appearance in Madrid. Well, it's a good play from Andreeva. Being broken for a fourth time today. Coco with her 12th break point of the match. That is beautiful. That is so well done. A WTA tour event this year. Not yet. And that will do it for a virtual bagel of Andreeva by Goff. And a sensational run of Coco Goff in the Spanish capital continues. Now a semifinalist for the first time in Madrid. No birthday cake for Andreeva. A little humble pie in the end as Coco Goff seizes all the momentum. Saved two set points in the opening frame. And runs off nine of the last ten games with a phenomenal finish. And a sprint to the line to post a 7-5, 6-1 win.
