Maybe you think that most of the Muscovites live in places like this one, for example.
Today we will show you what Moscow looks like, where the real Muscovites live.
Now we are in the central district.
The residential buildings here are very small, just a few floors.
There are not many people living in the city center.
There are also not many houses here.
They are all old and the architecture is very diverse.
There are many restaurants, offices, clothing stores, bookstores, museums and historical monuments.
Since there are not many apartments in the house, there is only one entrance here.
There are very interesting and beautiful balconies in the old houses.
There are both residential and not very residential houses here.
You can find such signs on the houses in the city center.
They are installed in memory of the people who lived in this house and were repressed in the Stalinist period.
Let's see what a typical Moscow courtyard looks like.
We go through the gate, through the arch and get to the courtyard.
If there is a house, then there must be a courtyard.
In the city center, the courtyards are not very large, but very cozy.
Even in small courtyards in the city center there is a playground.
In some places there are still such telephone booths, in which someone apparently drinks wine.
Let's check if it works or not.
Hello?
There is no phone booth.
There is also a playground in this courtyard.
And if this is a traditional attribute of Moscow courtyards, then you will not often meet a fountain.
But in my opinion it is very nice.

Just half an hour by subway and you get to a completely different world, where the foot of a tourist did not step.
Namely, in the so-called sleeping area.
Of course, it is not the only one.
In each part of the city, in the north, in the south, in the west, in the east, there are their own sleeping areas.
And it is here, in such areas, that most Muscovites live.
Right now we are in the south of Moscow, in the Chertanovo area.
And even this area is divided into the northern, central and southern Chertanovo.
That is, you can imagine the scale of the city.
At the exit from the subway there are many small shops and fast food restaurants.
In case when people return from work and they do not have time and energy to go to the supermarket and buy food,
you can quickly run to the store and buy the most necessary.
On the way to work, you can buy a fresh newspaper or a magazine.
And returning home, eat ice cream.
Speaking of supermarkets, there are a huge number of them in the sleeping areas.
There is a grocery store in almost every yard.
And the prices in such stores are very democratic.
As a rule, these are chain stores. In our case, five.
And, of course, in every sleeping area there is a large shopping center.
Here it is Columbus or Columbus.
Local residents constantly argue about how it is called correctly.
And what do you think? Write your version in the comments.
We go from the subway to the houses and courtyards. Let's see how Muscovites live here.
There are many houses in the sleeping areas.
As a rule, these are multi-story panel houses of the same type.
And usually it is 9-12 floors. But there are also exclusive copies.
This is the entrance to the entrance.
There is a home phone here. If you know the code, you can dial it and open the door.
Or you can open the door with a special magnetic key.
We dial the home phone number.
Let's go inside.
And this is what the entrance of a typical panel house looks like.
This is the entrance to the entrance.
On the walls there are mailboxes for each apartment.
As you can see, there are a lot of apartments in this entrance.
There is a beautiful carpet on the floor.
There is a ramp for bicycles and baby strollers.
Let's go further.
And in this room you can store your bicycles, scooters or baby strollers.
On each floor there is a garbage can.
And a fire hydrant.
As you can see, there is much more parking space in such courtyards.
And it is free here.
This is a police station.
It is here to reduce the speed of cars passing by the courtyards.
This is for safety.
There is a lot of space in the sleeping areas.
Wide lawns, wide courtyards, large sports grounds and a lot of greenery.
Housing here is much cheaper than in the center.
And for this reason, many families with children prefer to live in the sleeping areas.
Because they can afford more spacious apartments.
There are a lot of playgrounds in such areas.
A playground for barking dogs.
This sports ground is called a box.
In the summer they play football here, and in the winter they fill the skating rink and skate.
There is even a gym in the open air.
Why pay for a gym when you can exercise outside?
There are a lot of trees here.
And thanks to this, the air is much cleaner than in the center.
Specifically, in this area, as you can see, there are ponds.
Locals really like to spend time here, walk, do sports, run.
Or just sit in the water.
Or in the water.
Thank you very much for watching.
