Go behind the scenes with the Soldiers assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division's Sustainment Brigade as they depart to Fort Bliss, Texas, in order to enhance the capacities of Customs and Border Protection as part of the mission along the U.S. Southern Border.
They will integrate with forces already deployed to protect and defend the territorial integrity of the United States.

About the U.S. Army:
The Army Mission – our purpose – remains constant: To deploy, fight and win our nation’s wars by providing ready, prompt & sustained land dominance by Army forces across the full spectrum of conflict as part of the joint force.
Third one.
Specialist Bishop!
I was there to receive you all.
If you guys could be there, this would happen now.
We rolled out.
About a month later you came back.
So in the past seven months, truth be told, we can get you back sooner.
Trust me, I'm pushing to get you back sooner.
No promises, but I'm trying.
Thank you for the Army, and this is amazing.
I told you guys just the other day, you know, we are global.
Texas is going to do some great things.
Y'all are going to learn a lot.
I look forward to seeing you in a few weeks.
We're going to come down and check you guys out.
Right now, it's going to be exciting.
Your representatives.
And a reminder is that you remain ready.
The leadership and the troopers, the hardworking,
for the people that are conducting the mission of Southern Border across the way.
We are going to bring them that capacity.
And I remind you again, when you're out there,
they're not going to say, Sergeant Smith, Sergeant...
They're going to start back in here in a second.
So the past seven months, you guys are all part of our family.
We're proud of you.
Great things down here at the border.
Look forward to seeing you here in a few weeks.
We're going to come down and check you guys out.
And the difference is we never let the nation down.
I'm telling you, other units have been called.
I remind you on that. Hold your head up high.
Equipment is why this is it.
Hold your head high because the nation called for other units, and they failed.
And trust me, I'm calling my brother in this process.
And we have never failed.
We have always maintained readiness.
We maintain ourselves.
We maintain the mental.
So I never tell you how much time you're going to be there
because they told us that was three months.
And that was 15 months of our lives in some city business.
You better look.
Look at the double H and remember who you represent.
Who did a newcomer brief with me in the past two years?
Who's heard my newcomer brief?
Ray T.G. from another standard here.
That's not my effort cost.
That's what he told me.
You can call anytime.
So I appreciate you.
If I can do anything that helps me out of here, I'll know.
I'll be there.
