Spring Fashion , Outfit Styling .Timeless Elegant looks !

Hi guys, welcome to my channel or if you're new here, welcome. My name is Alex and I post predominantly fashion videos. So today I'm coming to you with some spring styling outfit ideas. The day that I'm filming is actually the 1st of April so it feels like spring is well and truly on its way. So I have chosen some pieces which I think will make great transitional pieces, things that will carry you into the new season, things that I will get a lot of wear out of and hopefully timeless pieces that will stay in my wardrobe for many seasons to come. Most of these pieces that I will be showing you have been kindly gifted by a brand called Estia, so I'm working with them on this video. They are a brand, if you don't know Estia, they were primarily an Asian brand, however they have just opened a store in Paris and I just love their collection to be honest. It's very timeless, very original, they make things in small batches so you don't get this mass production sort of thing and you can kind of tell I think in the quality and the design of the pieces. The prices are quite affordable, probably higher than your Zara but not as high as more sort of upper high street brands such as Reece and I just think that I'm going to love all these pieces. So they've actually given me a discount code and in fact you can actually, the more you buy the more discount you earn, so I'll put all the details of the pieces and the links to the pieces that I've chosen down below and I will be styling these pieces with things that I already own, none of the other pieces are new, just to see how these pieces will fit into my wardrobe. I'll also let you know what sizes I've chosen because they're not all the same size I have to say and we'll see how we get on. So the first piece I have to show you is this gorgeous camel jacket. So I just think this is such a lovely piece, it's cropped, it's, I think it's a wool blend if I'm not mistaken, yeah it is a wool blend and it has these lovely sort of silver like beaten metal buttons and it's just, I think it's a lovely lovely fit. I mean even with like these black trousers that I'm wearing now I think this will look really nice. It'll look really nice with shorts, with a white skirt, with trousers, so it's quite lightweight. Obviously it isn't lined but you don't want anything super warm when the weather gets warmer but you still get in that extra layer when it gets a bit chilly, perhaps in the evenings or if you work in an office this would also make a great option. I don't work in an office but I'll definitely be wearing this out for coffee dates, for lunch or maybe with a nice skirt in the evening so I'm excited to see what this looks like on. The next piece I have is more casual, so I did want a lightweight jacket that was quite casual so it looks, it's kind of a waffle fabric if you can see. I got this one in a size large because there wasn't another size available. I'll just let you know, I think the the other jacket I got it in a size, in a size medium, yeah. So this one I got in a size large, hopefully it isn't too oversized. I just think I'll get so much wear out of this. I can wear it with jeans, I can wear it like with joggers or something a bit more casual and it would also look quite cute with a mini skirt or some shorts. So yeah, I really like this and I think it's something that was definitely missing from my wardrobe. Moving on to the next piece is this stunning checked blazer. So yeah, I mean this is a spring haul but I think this is something that you can definitely wear in autumn as well and possibly all year round but I just think this with some cream jeans or some white jeans, a white top underneath or a white shirt is just going to look gorgeous. Obviously brown is very much on trend so you know you just need your suede bag, suede shoes, maybe some loafers and I just think this will make a really lovely outfit and obviously like I said with the piece before, if you do work in an office again this is going to make a really nice piece, something that you'll definitely get your wear out of. But yeah, I think I'm just going to wear with jeans and some nice shoes and I think yeah, I really like it. I didn't get it very oversized because I don't, I'm not a fan of the really big oversized blazers because my shoulders are quite small so I just think they look a bit silly on me but I think this is going to be the perfect relaxed fit. Again, I got this in a size medium. For reference, I'm usually a size 8 UK or a 36 EU. I'm about, because I got asked this, I'm about 169 centimeters. I think that's just under 5 foot 7 in height. Yeah, so just for reference if you wanted to know the size. So moving on, I've got a knit. So this is, these kind of things are very much in fashion at the moment but I think that they're timeless as well. So I got this in a size medium as well and I do think I probably should have sized down. I think it might be a little bit too big but we'll see. But yeah, so obviously classic black and white stripe. It's in this lovely, it's like a cotton knit I would say. It does have some thickness to it but something definitely that you can wear without, with nothing on underneath. But I will probably be layering it at the moment and also because it looks quite big I think I would definitely need something underneath it. So yeah, so if you do get that probably stick to your normal size. And last but not least is this gorgeous stripey knit. So this is primarily viscose. So you get this lovely sort of silky feel and I just, I'm gonna wear this with my white skirt. I think I've got the Marks and Spencers, the full white skirt that I brought last year that I can't wait to wear again this year. I got this in a size small so yeah, it's definitely an oversized fit I would say. I just think it's lovely. It's got these gorgeous silver buttons which makes a bit of a nice change to gold because most of the buttons at the moment are probably gold I think and you know it's nice to try something different. I just think this is lovely. I'd wear it buttoned up like a top but also as a cardigan, as a nice layer over a vest top as well. So let's get styling. I'm going to try these pieces on like I said and try and create some spring looks for you. So I'm starting off with the black jacket. I've just rolled the sleeves up. Yeah I really like it. It's got some black trousers on. My sandals. I think this is a nice casual look. So like I said this is a large so yeah I don't think it looks too big. Actually I quite like the fit. Perhaps if I got a smaller size I wouldn't have liked it so much. I just think it looks really nice. Nice and casual and something that will definitely get a lot of wear out of. So very pleased with it. It is lined. It does have a little bit of thickness to it so I think with the weather getting warmer I would be quite happy to wear it with just like a vest top like I'm wearing now and yeah good to go. So we're off to a good start. This one is definitely a keeper for me. Okay so this is the little camel jacket. I love this. I just think it's beautiful. I've kept my trousers on just to show you how you could wear it for a smarter look. I've paired it with some animal print pointed flats. Some slingbacks which I just think these are actually new and I love them. They're from a brand called KMB Shoes. I'll link them down below and they're just stunning. So yeah you can button it up and it looks like this. It's cute but also you can wear it open. There is some wool in it so you can kind of feel it in your bare skin but it doesn't bother me so but bear in mind if you are sensitive to that kind of thing you might be able to feel it a little bit. But yeah I just think it's a really cute outfit and something that I will definitely wear. So I'm going to pop on a white skirt and see and see how that looks styled in a different way. Okay so please excuse my pasty legs but this is what it looks like with the skirt. Again I think it's really lovely and also with the pointed flats. I just think it's a really lovely outfit and obviously it will take you to you can take it to the office. You can also wear it out, out for shopping, out with the girls. I just think it's a really nice versatile piece and also something that I think you'll probably keep in your wardrobe forever. I think and definitely I will. Yeah so I'm obsessed with the skirt. Absolutely love it. Loved it last year, love it again. So yeah I think this one is definitely a winner for me as well. I'm now going to try the black and white stripe knit on because it is too big for me unfortunately and it doesn't look quite right. So if you are going to go for that piece I would say to definitely size down. So if you're my size definitely go for a small I would say. But yeah I'll see if I can swap it for a smaller size. Hopefully I can because I do really like it. So moving on to the next piece I'm going to style the checked blazer. Okay so this is the checked blazer. I've kept on the white vest because the white vest is king again this season so I just thought why not keep it on. But yeah I mean it's something that you'd probably wear underneath the blazer when the weather gets warmer and I paired it with some white jeans and just some bostons underneath. I just think it's a nice relaxed effortless outfit and I just think the blazer makes all the statement that you need. Roll the sleeves up a little bit. Yeah I think it's a cool look. What do you think? Would you wear this? Do you think this is a spring appropriate outfit? So this is the blazer up close. Yeah I really like it. I don't actually own anything like this but I can see myself wearing it a lot and I think the fact that it has the check print makes it a bit more casual rather than a block print blazer. So yeah and if you live in the countryside obviously this would be great for country pub lunches and things like that but I and I live by the sea but still I'm definitely going to wear this quite a lot. So yeah a winner like I said I got a medium the size small so if you want a more relaxed fit I would definitely size up. Final piece is this knitted cardigan top. I've put up my skirt. I've paired it with some sambas because I think it works perfectly with the black and white. Keep it quite monochrome. I've left it untucked. I did try to do a millennial tuck but it didn't look quite right. I think it looks quite nice like this quite effortless and relaxed and you know what I think this is probably maybe this on the camel jacket. One of my favourite pieces out of my choices. It just feels lovely and silky and yeah I think it looked nice with some white tailor trousers or some black trousers like the ones that I was wearing before and I just think that this kind of thing you'll never regret buying and you'll probably keep it in your wardrobe forever and it's a kind of thing that you'll reach for when you don't know what to wear.
