Is Kris Jenner's Kardashian family empire built on deception, lies, and exploiting her children?
Though that might not come as a shock to a lot of people, the extent of her shady dealings and
just how far she'd go to get what she wants is actually crazier than you'd ever imagine.
After all, the devil works hard, but Kris Jenner works harder. Most of us have seen that meme,
right? Well, how true is it? I mean, according to her, she coined the phrase
And as of April, her top client-slash-daughter Kim was estimated by Forbes to be worth a whopping
$1.7 billion. That's not even counting the other sisters or Kris' personal income.
So, are they just some nepo family that came from money? Shockingly, not really. At least
on Kris' end, she actually started as a nobody and clawed her way to the top by any means necessary.
Like, when I tell you we found some dark secrets, one involving Kim that I'm still reeling from,
guys, this is a wild ride. So, is Kris Jenner actually just that good at business,
or are shady things at play? What crazy thing did Kim do beyond just being born into this family?
And despite being a good manager, how did Kris treat her kids as a mom? And to be clear,
I'm not out here trying to judge women's careers by how they are as a mom, but when someone makes
their career about being a mom, and when they treat their kids worse than you would ever treat
regular employees, I think it's worth an examination. Well, to truly analyze all of that,
we need to understand who Kris is and where she came from. Her origin, if you will. So,
let's go back before the show, before the interviews, before the books, even before
the O.J. murder trial, all the way back to the very beginning, because it's not what you'd expect.
It might be hard to picture Kris Jenner, the exorbitantly wealthy momager extraordinaire,
as a nobody, but that's exactly what she was. She was born in San Diego, and her family didn't come
from a lot of money. It actually sounds like a relatively normal upbringing. She even worked at
her mom's clothing store as a teen, something her daughter Kim would certainly approve of.
Get your ass up and work. But the thing that was not normal about Kris's upbringing was her dating
life, and it actually informs more about who Kris is, her life goals, and her early ideology than
you might think. At the age of 17, Kris started dating a professional golfer, Cesar Cenuto. But
this wasn't a cute high school sweetheart's kind of story. Cesar was 12 years older than Kris,
a 29-year-old dating a 17-year-old. Now, Cesar claimed that he wasn't aware of Kris's true age
when they first got together. Okay, but here is the crazy part. Some people say that Kris's mother
was actually motivating her to date him. Dating him meant traveling the world and moving in some
important circles. Who cares if you're still in high school? But whether her mom pushed her to
start dating him or not, it does show us what Kris seemed to be looking for in a man at the time.
Older, wealthy, famous to some extent, and someone who would show her the world. Remember, Kris was
so she was a teenager in the late 60s, early 70s. That means she entered the dating world when women
couldn't have a credit card without their husband's signature. And most banks were still
banning women from having their own bank account. Ironically, finding a husband was pretty much the
only way to be financially independent. But even though Cesar checked all of those boxes,
older, wealthy, famous-ish, and showing her the world, something must have felt off to Kris. Or
maybe she wondered if she could do better now that she was running in these more elite circles.
Because soon she found herself looking for greener pastures with none other than Robert Kardashian.
Spoiler alert, they eventually got together. When Kris met Robert, he was 11 years older than her.
They first met at a horse race when Kris was 17 and he was 28. He was a lawyer and a businessman,
check. And ran in those elite circles, check. So far so good, right? Well, Kris was still with
Cesar at the time. Despite getting engaged to Cesar two years later at the age of 19,
Kris at some point in there started an affair with Robert. An affair that Cesar apparently
walked in on. Fun fact, Cesar also believed Kris cheated on him with OJ Simpson.
But Kris has always denied it. So, Cesar and Kris called off their engagement. But then,
instead of swooping in and locking it down with Kris, Robert started dating Priscilla Presley.
Kris's checklist for what she thought she needed to have a fulfilling life was hanging in the
balance. So, in a pretty kick-ass move, Kris apparently decided to take one of her requirements
for a suitor off her list and showed herself the world by starting to work as a flight attendant.
This is the first way Kris bucked that initial expectation that was instilled in her, either by
her mom or just herself. And this is the start of her metamorphosis into the Kris we know today.
It was during this time as a flight attendant that Kris also bucked her usual dating expectations
when her friends introduced her to Alfred Garcia. Alfred was much closer in age, only four years
this time. He wasn't wealthy or famous that we could find, but he was a photographer. And he was
more than happy to take photos of Kris, which was perfect because it turns out,
Kris's first foray into entertainment was wanting to be a model, just like her mom had been.
Alfred took a bunch of photos of Kris while they were together, but eventually they broke up,
and Kris went back to a guy who checked pretty much everything off her current list, Robert.
He wasn't quite famous, but he did have famous friends. And honestly, it sounds like it was a
pretty good marriage from Kris's own recollection. They were super in love, he made good money,
they had four kids together. Not that Kris was nice to all the kids, but we'll get into that
in a second. But here's a big takeaway about Kris that we can see throughout these early years,
and even now today. She's not okay with status quo or feeling stagnant. Something in her is
constantly driving her to keep expanding and pushing to the limits. It works great in business,
but when it came to her marriage with Robert, well, Kris said she made the biggest mistake
of her life when she had an affair with a young soccer player named Todd Waterman. And this time,
threw her list away completely. Todd was younger than her, he was living in a small apartment with
not much money to his name, and he was not in any famous circles. But according to Kris and Todd
themselves, the affair was passionate and pretty ruthless. Like, they weren't even really trying
to hide it from Robert. Todd would even come over to the Kardashians' house to play tennis with Kris,
and she started throwing Robert's friends off by calling him her personal trainer.
Kris describes them hooking up everywhere. Cars, the tennis courts at her house, her pool house,
they even got an apartment together. All while her kids were around the ages of 10, 9, 5, and 2.
Not a great parenting moment. Not surprisingly, Robert eventually found out and divorced Kris
after 12 years of marriage. Something Kris now seems to regret.
He was such a great husband and such a great dad, and I think that I fell into
a situation where I thought that the grass was greener somewhere else,
and I made a huge mistake. That's like my life's biggest regret.
But surprisingly, despite the end of their marriage, Kris and Robert remained close.
When I got divorced, Robert and I became best friends. We talked on the phone all day long,
helped each other through things all the time.
Which, to her credit, it does sound like she was a good co-parent.
So as we've seen, Kris had a checklist that she formulated early on, and she even stuck to it when
she married Olympic athlete and TV personality Caitlyn Jenner. Older? Check. Wealthy? Check.
Famous? Check. And Caitlyn could even show Kris the world. Check.
For Kris, relationships weren't just romances. They were calculated moves in her game of power.
Even her affair with Todd was about her feeling powerful and desirable. And when it came to
marriage, each older, wealthier spouse was a rung on her ladder to fame and influence.
This wasn't love. It was strategy, setting the stage for a lifetime of manipulation.
But then something happened that caused Kris to question everything. And it even put a strain on
her friendship with Robert. Nicole Brown, Kris's best friend, was unalived by her husband OJ Simpson,
Robert's best friend. And Robert was called in to defend him.
If you were alive in the 90s, you've probably heard of the OJ Simpson trial.
It was everywhere on the news.
OJ Simpson's ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, was found to death outside her home in Los Angeles,
alongside her friend Ron Goldman.
A surprising, stunning development in the still unsolved murder of OJ Simpson's former wife
and her male companion. The police say that they have charged OJ Simpson in those murders.
The murder really hit home for Kris and Robert. They even used to go on double
dates with the Simpsons. Kris really saw Nicole as her best friend. They bonded over their shared
love of luxury and their savvy strategies for marrying into wealth and power. And Robert and
OJ Simpson had been friends since they met back in college at USC. Robert was one of OJ's closest
confidants and most trusted allies. He rushed to OJ's side during the aftermath of the murder,
and did basically anything OJ wanted him to. Even reciting his suicide note at a press conference.
Don't feel sorry for me. I've had a great life. Great friends. Please think of the real OJ,
and not this lost person. Thanks for making my life special. I hope I helped yours.
Peace and love, OJ. But Kris didn't let Robert's loyalty to OJ sway her own beliefs about the
crime. I was disappointed and I was confused. I didn't understand how he didn't see what I saw.
Throughout the brutal trial, Kris was seeing how Nicole experienced a long pattern of physical,
emotional, and psychological abuse at the hands of OJ. She listened to the lawyers outline a host
of incidents that showed OJ and Nicole's relationship was far from healthy. The trial
made something that Kris didn't necessarily want to believe before Nicole's death painfully and
tragically real. Just weeks before her death, says Kris, Nicole revealed something shocking.
Things are really bad between OJ and I, and he's gonna kill me, and he's gonna get away with it.
However, Kris has said that she didn't fully understand the situation until the trial got
underway and evidence was presented. I didn't know that there was abuse until we heard and saw,
you know, saw the whole thing unfold like everybody else, and then heard the 911 tapes.
Me and some of her other close friends all were really surprised and shocked by that,
because we felt like we really failed her as a friend. Even though OJ was acquitted in the
criminal trial, Kris has talked publicly about how she blames him for Nicole's death,
and how she blames herself for not understanding the full extent of the abuse. Imagine feeling
responsible for your best friend's passing. But here's the thing that really shook Kris's
ideology to its core. She and Nicole had both pursued relationships with powerful men seeking
wealth, fame, and influence. But Nicole's tragic fate exposed the terrifying downside of their
shared strategy. The power imbalances in Nicole and OJ's relationship, from the 10-plus-year age
gap and physical dominance to vast wealth and star power, had turned deadly. People dismissed
Nicole's claims because OJ was such a superstar, showing just how dangerous their game could be.
This put a chilling spin on Kris's checklist for finding a husband. Age, wealth, fame. It was like
trying to tame a lion. If you succeeded, you'd rule the jungle. But if you failed, you'd become
prey. Kris was now facing a terrifying truth. The very qualities she'd sought in a partner could
become weapons if wielded against her. Nicole's life was the cost of this brutal lesson, and it
forced Kris to reconsider everything. Sure, having it all could be thrilling, but what happens when
the person holding all the power turns on you? Kris realized she'd been playing a dangerous game
all along, one where the stakes were life and death. And just like Nicole was held powerless
in her marriage, Kris felt powerless in the courtroom, unable to fix the mistakes she made
of minimizing her friends' cries for help. Not only was the trial making her realize how she
could have helped Nicole, it was making her realize how she needed to help herself. Nicole's
wasn't just a tragedy. It was Kris's wake-up call. It transformed Kris from a social climber
into a power-hungry strategist, determined to never be the victim. Even though Kris was already
married to Caitlyn Jenner by the time of the trial, Kris wrote in her autobiography that the trial
made her realize that when she was married to Robert, she, quote, had no money, not one dollar
to my name. He controlled everything. It never occurred to me before that moment in this dark
time that I had no power. Later in life, I would decide it was a situation I would never be in
again, unquote. And Kris applied that resolution to her current marriage. She would not be powerless
again. Kris decided to transition from merely being in relationships with influential or rich
people, and instead have a hand in their money-making process herself. What many people
don't know about Caitlyn Jenner's career is that, yes, she was an Olympian, but after that,
and the initial rush of game shows and appearances and publicity stunts, things had started to die
down a bit. The industry didn't have all the lucrative brand deals and influencer opportunities
that we now have for athletes today, so even how much Caitlyn was able to be featured was a big
deal. Her manager did a really solid job of getting her out there. But as Caitlyn's star
faded since the Olympic glory days, Kris thought she could do better. Kris saw potential not just
in Caitlyn, but in what she herself could do with Caitlyn's career. Here was a chance to be more
than just a wife. She could be a manager, a partner, a driving force. It was a way for Kris
to ensure she wouldn't end up powerless like Nicole. So, Kris took charge. She fired Caitlyn's
manager despite them being friends, writing in her book, quote,
"'We took Caitlyn's gold medal out of her sock drawer and dusted it off and framed it in her
office, and that became our motivation.'" With Kris's management, Caitlyn's career saw a resurgence.
More speeches, commercials, endorsements. But this time, Kris wasn't just along for the ride.
She was the one steering the ship. She started appearing alongside Caitlyn in commercials and
promotions. They even branched out into fitness programs. And today, we'll be joined by Kris,
as together they reveal the secret to faster fitness, the amazing Zero G Strider. It wasn't
just Caitlyn's success anymore. It was their success. When you're power walking on your Power
Walk Plus, you can burn substantially more calories than when you're walking on an ordinary treadmill.
And besides burning calories, you'll be shaping and toning your whole body.
Kris had effectively transformed herself from a potential victim of a power imbalance to a key
player in her own right. This shift marked the beginning of Kris's transformation into the
momager we know today. She had learned from Nicole's tragedy and was determined to never
be powerless again. Instead of just marrying into fame and wealth, she was now creating it
for herself and her family. And Kris used it as a springboard to launch her own endeavors, too.
Okay, everybody, let's get started with your intermediate workout on the Jennerfit Power
Trainer. Joining me now is Kris Jenner, author of the brand new book, Kris Jenner and All Things
Kardashian. Kris Jenner held a book signing for her new book, In the Kitchen with Kris,
in Los Angeles on Tuesday night. But even though they were making money, Kris still had her sights
set on something bigger. She wanted to be full-on famous in her own right. She was done just being
in proximity to the spotlight. Remember, she's starting to check off her ideal spouse checklist
herself. And the best path she could see to that end goal was this new thing called family reality
shows. Now, reality TV was not a new concept in the early 2000s. Even shows in the vein of Keeping
Up with the Kardashians go all the way back to the 1970s with An American Family. At the time,
they called it a documentary series, but it's widely considered to be the start of the family
reality shows we know today, centering around an upper-middle class family with lots of drama and
mayhem underneath their suburban facade. And of course, there were dating and friend-focused shows
like The Real World and Big Brother, but what really showed Kris just how marketable these
shows could be was The Simple Life with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. It blew up. They had 13
million viewers when the show aired, and that number actually went up by 300,000 people by the
second episode. Reality TV was not only a moneymaker, it was also a star maker. I mean, look at how many
spinoffs Paris Hilton has had since The Simple Life. And Kris could see the writing on the wall.
One problem, there was no logical way for Kris, a middle-aged mother, to get her foot in the door.
But her entrepreneurial daughter, Kim? That's another story. Now, here's the thing. We don't
know for certain that Kris got Kim the job as Paris' closet organizer, but we do know Kim was
running a closet organizer business at the time. I used to assist Kimberly. She was a closet
organizer. That was my jam back in the day. And Kris has a habit of always being involved in
her kids' businesses, so I think the chances are high. Either way, Kim was able to secure the job
going through Paris' excessive wardrobe, and she even picked up some life lessons along the way,
like always be prepared. But she always had like a bikini or a change of clothes. In case she...
And eventually, she became good enough friends with Paris to make some appearances on the show
and in the tabloids. But that wasn't good enough. Kim getting some small pockets of airtime was
not going to showcase the rest of the family, or Kris. Especially not in a way that another
recently successful reality show, The Osbournes, had. The Osbournes not only made the whole Osbourne
family relevant, the matriarch Sharon ended up with her own syndicated talk show. Does that scream
Kris Jenner or what? But they needed more than an Olympian and Paris Hilton's assistant to get
the Kardashian family a TV show. So Kris hatched a plan that will make your skin crawl.
In 2004, Paris Hilton had a very private adult-type video released. Nowadays, we would call it
revenge porn. She recorded the video with her boyfriend at the time, who we won't give the
of naming because all of his actions around the whole thing were ick. And it got big,
especially for the early days of the internet. When the tape came out, it launched Paris into
an adult icon status of sorts and garnered a lot of attention. Now, you might be wondering,
what does that really have to do with Kim's own adult tape that got leaked with her ex-boyfriend
and singer Willie Ray J Norwood in 2007? Well, turns out it might not be the accidental mistake
you thought it was. According to Ian Halperin, the author of the 2016 book A Kardashian Dynasty,
a mutual friend of Kim and Paris had advised her that if she wanted to achieve fame,
a sex tape would be the way to go. Kim had discussed the idea of producing a tape with
her family beforehand. But don't worry, it gets worse. The quote continues,
It was Chris who engineered the deal behind the scenes with Vivid Entertainment and was
responsible for the tape seeing the light of day. Gag. So Ray J has changed his story about
whether he was involved in selling the sex tape, but he still maintains that Chris Jenner was
involved in it, even though Chris has denied it. Did you help Kim release her sex tape?
No. No. True. Of course it's true.
However, Ray J isn't showing up empty handed. We're going through receipts tonight, Chris.
We're going through receipts tonight, Kim. You want to see the sex tape contract? There it is.
Ray J said when Kim and Chris saw that success, they planned out leaking Kim's tape,
but that there was actually three tapes that they sold, but they only went with the second one
because Chris Jenner watched all of the tapes, made them make multiple,
and then pick which one made her daughter have the best one. Let's just unpack that for a second.
Can you imagine being a mother and trying to help your daughter's career by scheming with her to
release a very intimate video? And beyond that, analyzing each of the videos like you're a
football coach running back some practice footage. No matter what kind of money you get out of
something like that, it's all kinds of gross. How much nudity are you prepared for?
You don't want to do that. I'm not comfortable taking my top off. Whoa, whoa, whoa. What do you
mean? Chris Jenner was basically pimping out her daughter for media attention and money. This is
what I mean by, is Chris a good manager and mom? I'm a little embarrassed to say this, but it's
always been a lifelong dream of mine to pose for Playboy. Maybe we could do like a mother-daughter
issue. Like, listen to Chris's attempt at putting the rumors to rest. When I first heard about Kim's
tape, as her mother, I wanted to kill her. But as her manager, I knew that I had a job to do.
Even that is not a normal thing for a mom to say. The Kim K tape wasn't a scandal. It was a launch
pad designed, at least in some part, by Chris herself. This wasn't just exploitation. It was
a mother weaponizing her daughter's privacy for fame. Chris had crossed a line showing there were
no limits to what she'd do for celebrity status. But I'm not sure Chris cared because she got her
wish. With the Kim and Ray J tape still causing a scandalous mayhem, Chris approached Ryan Seacrest
with an idea, keeping up with the Kardashians. Ryan was new to producing at the time, but he
was aware of how well the Osbournes did. So, he agreed to shoot a pilot of sorts, hiring a
cameraman to attend a family barbecue. Ryan later said about that shoot,
There was yelling, there was laughter, there were hugs. It was all of the ingredients to make a
great show. So, we made a seven-minute tape out of it. And we showed that to E. And initially,
the executives said, we can't commission a show on seven minutes. So, they pushed back.
We put the show on the air weeks later. No, that is not Kim. Out of the way. Stop.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians ran for 20 seasons and had nearly 300 episodes. It not
only garnered spinoffs, it also allowed for the family members to each develop and promote their
own individual brand outside of the show. On one hand, there's nothing really wrong with a mom
having some sway in her children's business dealings. But when you think about the drama
and dirty laundry that gets exploited on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, it reminds you how Chris
Jenner basically pumps every relationship she has for all it's worth. Keeping Up With The
Kardashians wasn't just a TV show. It was Chris's masterpiece of manipulation. She turned her
family's life into a product. Their privacy into profit. Every tear, every fight, every real moment
became a commodity. With Chris as the puppet master pulling the strings. Some of the plot
lines are simply heartbreaking. Remember when I said she didn't treat all of her kids well?
Khloe Kardashian has notoriously been put through the ringer, dealing with rumors that she is the
least favorite and getting cheated on by Tristan Thompson while she was pregnant with his child.
And then being cheated on again right after he convinced her to go through an embryo transfer
to have a second kid with him. Tristan and I are, I don't even know if I want to say Tristan and I,
I am having another baby. I don't know about you, but no amount of money would make me want to go
through that kind of heartbreak while being filmed and talked about in tabloids. But this isn't some
new thing. Chris not caring about Khloe's feelings? Take a look at how differently Chris talks about
Kourtney and Kim versus Khloe. Kourtney is described with quotes like, Kourtney became
our entire world. And then with Kim, Chris goes on and on about her beauty. From the moment she
was born, Kimberly Kardashian was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. I looked in her face
and thought, she is so beautiful. She was just stunning from the beginning and had the most
adorable personality, curious, playful, adorable. See what I mean? And then we have Khloe, quote,
like her name, Khloe looked different, different from anyone else in the family from the moment
she was born. Okay, but it gets worse because Chris goes on to describe how at least Khloe
had a good sense of humor, calling her instantly funny and saying she carved out space usually
through humor. And then she goes on to say Khloe used to act like a dog when she was little.
Meanwhile, right after Rob's birth was quote, followed by a celebration like no other,
just very different energies all around. And what makes the way Chris treats Khloe even worse is
that Chris has also written that she quote, would have had to give up so much if I had not had Khloe
there to help. Without Khloe, I don't know how I would have gone on with my life. Because of Khloe,
I was able to attend business meetings, workout, get my haircut and even have lunch with a friend.
Chris even called Khloe a second mom to Kylie and Kendall and lied to Khloe saying she had a
government issued license so she could drive her little sisters to school when Khloe was only 14.
Not only was she trading in Khloe's childhood freedom so she could get haircuts and lunch with
friends, she also was putting Khloe at risk of facing major consequences. If she'd been caught,
she could have faced up to six months in jail and or had been suspended from applying for a
driver's license later. But it would appear Chris didn't care. And she still treats Khloe terribly
on the show. I want you to look around and see that not many of your other kids are here, but I
am and the one that you mistreat the most. Chris also doesn't seem to be bothered by the constant
attention they get from the show, positive or negative. She makes the most out of every moment
and knows how to catch the lightning when it strikes. Probably the best example is when Chris
gave some encouragement to Kim while she was doing a Playboy photo shoot. It's kind of our
inside joke and something that people will shout at me if I'm walking through a crowd. And so we
decided to trademark it. You better believe that Chris Jenner gets a part of that trademark money.
Her reach extends to every offshoot of the Kardashian brand. She gets a 10% cut of anything
the family makes. TV shows, makeup products, clothing lines. If a Kardashian or Jenner is
involved, she is making bank off of it. And if you're wondering just how much that amounts to,
the Kardashian-Jenner brands include Skims, Good American, 818 Tequila, Dash, Skin by Kim,
Kai, Kylie Cosmetics, Kendall and Kylie Clothing Collection, Boosh, Kylie Skin,
Kylie Swim, Shoe Dazzle, and Smooch Children's Boutique. So next time you buy a Kylie lip kit,
remember that you're putting money into Chris Jenner's pocket. But it's not just your typical
front-facing brands and products that Chris is profiting off of, nor is it Kim's tape that
still lives on the internet and Chris still has ownership of. Chris also branched out in
some sketchier ways, like the one you've probably never heard of, California Community Church.
You heard me right. According to the church's own website, Chris previously attended the church
where Pastor Brad once served. After hearing about the events in his life, she reached out
and told him she would offer help. In 2007, while pastor of a church of 4,000 members,
Pastor Brad cheated on his wife of 27 years. Unfortunately, the weight of the scandal and
leaving his church caused him to make three unaliving attempts. He ended up working at
Starbucks, and that's where Chris and Caitlyn Jenner tracked him down and convinced him to
become the pastor of their new church. The church's website then goes on to make sure you know.
For the first year, Chris generously paid the rent for the theater space where the congregation met
and also paid Pastor Brad's salary. Chris is a member of the church. She has not served on the
And they note that you do not need to pay the $1,000 a month to join the congregation.
If you're thinking, that sounds kind of defensive and oddly specific, here's why they're saying it.
Back in 2014, Radar and other online platforms the church makes sure to frame as tabloids on
their website started revealing a suspicious side to the church. They noted that at the time,
the church's website had a payment portal and did suggest members to pay $1,000 a month or
10% of their income. Though, to be fair, 10% is a common tithe amount for churches.
However, Radar also pointed out that churches don't need to report anything to the IRS.
So, though we don't know how much California Community Church was making or where the money
was going, Kim said she put a full 10% of her income into the church as tithe. Now,
multiply that by the rest of the Kardashians and that's a lot of money and a lot of tax write-offs.
So, with money like that, they could definitely build a big church to house their services,
right? Well, they kept the church small. Like, small, small. When these articles came out,
they were still meeting in a hotel. Yet, Pastor Brad went from living in a modest town home to
It turns out, Kris' venture into religion wasn't about faith. It was about expanding her empire.
By bankrolling a church, she showed that nothing was sacred in her quest for influence. This was
Kris extending her brand of manipulation beyond Hollywood, proving her thirst for power knew no
bounds. But why a church? Well, there's tons of theories online about how they might be using
the church as a money-laundering front, though we of course can't confirm or deny that. But all
the theories were only further fueled by Kanye's accusations that one of the people who helped
Kris found the church was none other than Lou Taylor, head of TriStar Entertainment and, more
importantly, Britney Spears, former business manager who Britney said helped put her in the
In fact, multiple people have said the conservatorship was entirely Lou's idea.
And Lou also is conveniently tied to another sketchy church that her husband is the pastor of,
Calvary Church, which Britney's father, Jamie, made tens of thousands of dollars in donation
to in one year alone, despite not living anywhere near the church. So it's not like he was just
attending weekly. And apparently Lou is also on the board of directors at Church Home, the celebrity
church Justin and Hailey Bieber go to. Or at least she was until April, likely because of what we're
about to get into next. You can see why people are skeptical. How many celebrity churches does
a Hollywood business manager and entertainment mogul need to start? Especially one who's been
known to systematically siphon money from one of her clients, as was exposed in the Britney Spears
case, estimated to amount to over $18 million, not counting any side payments from Jamie Spears
to Lou directly. Not to mention Britney's lawyer, Matthew Rosengart, claimed that TriStar's celebrity
client list, including the Kardashians and Travis Scott, were built off the back of one Britney
Spears. According to him, TriStar wasn't thriving financially until Lou took full control over
Britney's estate. It has long been known that Kim Kardashian and the Kardashians in general use
Lou Taylor and TriStar Entertainment Media Group as their business manager. But it was rumored that
they cut ties with Taylor and TriStar when it came out that they mismanaged the funds of Britney
Spears and that Lou Taylor herself coerced Britney's parents into starting the conservatorship
to begin with. The shadiness started last week when Kim Kardashian was pictured with Black Box Security,
the security firm created for and funded by the conservatorship. And just now, Kim confirmed that
she still does business with Lou. Kim, how you work and how you love is evident to all who know
you. You are respected and loved. Lou and the TriStar team. So if Kim's tape was Kris's first
official deal with the devil, this connection to Lou is where Kris's current ties to the dark side
of Hollywood really took root. And when you peel back the well-crafted PR narratives to reveal all
of this, it also makes some of Kanye's out there comments make a little more sense. Now, I'll give
a disclaimer. One, Kanye has said some unhinged and dangerous things that I do not agree with.
And two, I think we've all seen that we should take what Kanye says with a grain of salt. However,
that doesn't mean that everything he says is unfounded or automatically false, especially
when it comes to a family that he was a part of for so long. In 2020, Kanye went on a series of
Twitter rants that seemed, well, pretty out there at the time. But a couple tweets in particular
stand out now in hindsight. He wrote, Kim was trying to fly to Wyoming with the doctor to have
me locked up like the movie Get Out. That sounds pretty paranoid. But to his credit, Kanye later
explained that it was because of Lou Taylor. He learned Kris had a relationship with her
and with the Free Britney movement in full force, he claims he caught wind of Kris and Kim scheming
with Lou to put him in a conservatorship, just like Britney. And I mean, there are some parallels,
like trying to get him to take lithium. They tried to medicate me. I was exhausted. They
wrongly diagnosed me. And when I asked them, how much lithium did you want to put me on exactly?
It took them four days to answer because they were embarrassed about the amount. Which Britney
revealed in her autobiography is exactly what Lou and her family did to her, giving her copious
amounts of lithium over time that caused brain damage to make her look as mentally unstable as
possible while forcing her to work full time and put money into all of their pockets. And if you
read The Woman in Me, you also know Britney's grandfather used the same tactic on her
grandmother way back when. Unfortunately, this is not a new concept. Three days later, after I said
no to Vegas, my therapist sat me down in a room and said he had a million phone calls about how I
was not cooperating in rehearsals and I haven't been taking my medication. All this was a false.
He he immediately the next day put me on lithium out of nowhere. He took me off my normal meds I'd
been on for five years. And lithium is a very, very strong and completely different medication
compared to what I was used to. And now knowing the truth about Kim's tape, you can also see why
Kanye tweets things like being afraid their daughter North will be pushed into Playboy
and explicit videos by Kim, especially after his meetup with Ray J, where Kim's former flame told
Kanye everything and according to Ray J brought all those receipts we mentioned before, plus
showed him private text messages from Kim over the years. And that would sound like just an insider
source type of story normally, but Kim actually confirmed this meetup happened on the show,
though she framed it differently. I want to show you guys what he got me.
He got me all of the sex tape back. Oh, my God. And he flew home. He got
a hard guy. And he met up with Ray J at the airport and got it all back. Oh,
Kim. Oh, my God. That's amazing. So yeah, no matter how mentally unstable Kanye actually is,
I do believe him when he says he's worried about his kids. And I can see why he also
says he doesn't want Chris and Kanye near them either. Wait a second. Who is Kanye?
You might be wondering. Well, that's Kanye's nickname for Chris's current long term partner.
After divorcing Caitlyn, Chris officially flipped that old checklist of hers on its head.
She showed herself the world. She made herself famous. She made herself wealthy. And she also
started to be the older one in an age gap relationship when she started dating Corey
Gamble, a.k.a. Kanye, a guy over 20 years younger than her. Now, if you don't know who Corey Gamble
is, you're not alone. And that's what's especially weird about the whole situation. As a recap,
Cesar Sinudo got her into circles to meet more people like Robert Kardashian. Robert Kardashian
and the O.J. trial inspired Chris to take more control of her relationships and wealth,
and Caitlyn Jenner helped Chris get her foot in the door on the way to stardom and positioned
her kids near people like Paris so something like Kim's tape would even matter. Now,
post-Caitlyn Jenner divorce, Chris seemingly doesn't need anyone, which makes her latest
choice of partner even more interesting because he's a total mystery. Like, the guy barely exists
outside of Chris. So where did he come from? Well, there's not a ton of information about his
employment history. According to People magazine, he was Justin Bieber's manager in 2014 and Yahoo
News lists him as an employee of Scooter Braun's production company, which would track except
there's no mention of this guy at Scooter's company. Everything seems to just be citing
these same articles. And this isn't just nosy fans being upset someone has a private life.
Even family members have voiced concerns about Kory's seemingly non-existent past.
Kanye text Kory something along the lines of, look, we don't know you. We've never met any of
your family members. I mean, of course we've all felt that way. And I agree with that statement
from Kanye. We don't know anything about Kory like that. I mean, it is weird. He's been around
for four years. Kory does tend to be pretty secretive. And although the family seems to be
on better terms now, there are still questions surrounding Kory that stem back to the beginning
of his relationship with Chris. And this is where things get even more weird. Chris and Kory
reportedly met at a birthday party in Ibiza in 2014, right around the time Kory was supposedly
working as a tour manager for one of Lou Taylor's other clients, Justin Bieber. But you know who
else was Justin Bieber's manager at the time besides Kory? Another one of Lou Taylor's clients,
Diddy. Who I did a whole other video on in light of his home being raided by Homeland Security,
and accusations about blackmail, and abuse surfacing, and the suspicious trail of bodies
that seem to be following him. On top of how weird his whole guardianship of Justin Bieber
and other young artists over the years is. I don't really, I don't have legal guardianship
of him, but for the next 48 hours, he's with me. So, and we gonna go full, buck full crazy.
And I know a lot of people in the industry have ties to Diddy. Having ties to him may not be a
great look, but it doesn't necessarily mean you're involved in anything shady. However,
most people don't have ties to him the way Lou did. Not only was she his business manager,
Lou's company TriStar just got mentioned in a lawsuit for allegedly sending payments to Diddy's
sex workers on his behalf. And apparently, she's actually been working with Diddy for decades.
Their history goes all the way back to the 90s. Which is also likely why she was dropped from
Church Home's leadership board in April just after Diddy's home was raided. Church Home,
which is Justin Bieber's current church, which is being accused of its own sketchy connections
to Diddy. Lou Taylor was removed from the board of Church Home when she and TriStar Entertainment
were named in the Diddy lawsuit. And now she's been removed as Justin Bieber's manager as well.
Are you seeing how insane this web is? But when it comes to Chris, it gets weirder. In addition
to Corey Gamble being in close proximity to Justin at the same time as Diddy, Corey was
also apparently close to Kim Porter, Diddy's ex-wife, who died randomly of pneumonia in a
very suspicious case at the young age of 47. If you want to learn more about the details of that
super sketchy case, check out our Diddy video. But there are rumors that Diddy may have had
something to do with it. She suddenly fell ill over a weekend and died. And guess who was in
the Kim Porter crime scene photos looking like a celebrity that doesn't want to be recognized?
Corey Gamble. Obviously, we can't say for sure what Corey did and why, but remember,
people in Kris Jenner's own circle have said they're suspicious of him. Like, I know Kanye
is not a super reliable narrator, but he did spend a lot of time around the Kardashian family
and Corey by proxy. And something led him to say...
All I'm saying is something strange is going on. There's even photos of Corey walking with
Beyoncé and Jay-Z like he's a part of their entourage. Or, as some people have pointed out,
possibly even covert security? But what I do know is Kris Jenner has proven time and time again
that she always has a plan. And somehow, some way, Corey must fit into that. After all, they've
been dating for over a decade, and now apparently there's talk of a wedding? I mean, whether Corey's
a tour manager for pop stars or handler for the CIA, he's gotta be good at managing people,
right? Just like Kris. Maybe that's what they find so alluring about each other.
But at the end of the day, I don't think Kris's relationship with Corey is truly about love.
It's about power. She no longer needs a spouse for fame or fortune. Now, even her romantic life
seems to serve her empire. Is Corey a partner or just another pawn in Kris's never-ending
game of control? Because Kris Jenner's ascent from ambitious social climber to multi-million
dollar matriarch isn't a rags-to-riches tale. It's a master class in manipulation. With each
calculated step, from strategic marriages to exploiting her own children, Kris has proven that
in her world, everything and everyone is a potential asset. Her empire is built not just
on ambition, but on a willingness to sacrifice anything—family, privacy, ethics—on the altar
of fame and fortune. Did you know all of this about Kris Jenner? Do the ends justify the means?
And if you haven't watched our video on Diddy and the trail of bodies behind him,
check it out now. Because where there's scandal, there's scandal.
