How do I motivate others for the honorary office, if I don't want to force them or stab them?
For this I want to make a little journey with you into the psychology of the human being,
to give you something to do, how you can convince others for your honorary office.
How do I motivate others for the honorary office?
So we need good arguments to convince and motivate others.
There is actually not the one motivation that we can address,
but there are two different types of motivation.
There is extrinsic motivation and there is intrinsic motivation.
Extrinsic motivation is everything that comes from the outside.
That means the money we get for our work,
that means that we may get status or look good,
that we are rewarded by visibility.
But also letting go of punishment is a form of extrinsic motivation, i.e. fear.
Intrinsic motivation is what motivates us from the inside.
That means, for example, when something is a lot of fun,
or when we say, it just gives me something.
We do something only from ourselves, without getting anything from the outside.
And that's exactly what we need for the honorary office.
But how do I know what really motivates others or myself from the inside?
For this I would like to take a little trip with you into psychology,
because we are not just one person, but we are many in one.
Say hello to your inner child.
How we humans function from the inside,
you can imagine it like a matryoshka doll.
You come into the world and you are this smallest, innermost matryoshka
with a lot of needs, you have no regulation yet,
you plow out into the world what you want or if something doesn't suit you.
But because we can't live like that, of course,
you add more and more layers to your outer adult over time.
The inner child still has needs,
like, for example, being powerful, having something to say,
it is also strongly driven by desire and also has a need for closeness.
All these things motivate us from the inside.
If we want to motivate others intrinsically or want to know
what motivates them from the inside,
then we have to understand what the inner child actually wants that drives us.
And that's exactly what I want to do with you now.
Because only those who understand themselves and know what motivates them,
can motivate others.
Let's go!
I want you to take a piece of paper now
and just think a little bit about you and your honorary office.
You can also find the instructions for this in the PDF,
but here you have a few tips.
Let your ideas run free first.
Write down everything that makes sense to you and your honorary office personally.
What do you like about it?
What do you not like about it at all?
Don't exaggerate.
Because in exaggeration we usually find things that are particularly exciting.
Be honest with yourself.
Also think about things that are a bit uncomfortable
or where you say, you may not be able to say that.
But that's part of it.
Because what drives us from the inside
is not necessarily always what we might say directly.
Take your time.
If you have the feeling in between that it doesn't go any further,
it's not bad.
Just leave it there for a moment
and maybe read again what you wrote the next day.
And then ask yourself again.
For example, if you say,
that gives me something back,
then think about what exactly is giving you back.
I try to question everything that you may take for granted.
Sometimes you may also get to the point where you think,
oh, that's a bit uncomfortable for me now,
if you think about it for a long time.
An example is when you donate
and you say it's because you want to do something good,
because you want to help people.
But if you think about it for a long time,
then you may notice, you also share it on social media,
you tell others a lot about it,
because it's not just about doing something good,
but maybe also about others seeing that you are doing something good,
that others see that you are a good person
and that you also get recognition for it.
That's your inner child.
Your inner child wants recognition for doing something good.
It also wants to do something good,
but it also wants recognition for it.
When you are ready to go to the bottom yourself,
then you already have a wonderful basis for it,
to perhaps also convince others for your honor.
Now I wish you a lot of fun.
