Everyone needs a place to retreat.
A spot where the world grows quiet enough for the soul to speak.
Nature is my soothing spot. A faithful friend with an evergreen heart.
The forest stretched on tippy toes. A mystical ballet with an evergreen show.
Come to a forest with the spirit to give. And leave an imprint of selflessness.
We were the soul of spring. A hint of flowers. A touch of fog.
And the breathless greens that carry on.
There lives a place deep in the woods that shoulders all my fears.
While sunlight graces wildflowers. Soothing mosaic chairs.
Leave me in the heart of nature. Beneath the sunlight's glow.
So I bought a few new plants at the garden center the other day.
Aromatics mostly. Only aromatics I think. Six plants actually for this little
part of the garden that I adore. I spent a lot of time here and I thought adding a few new plants
would be really really nice this year. The previous years I have bought small pots,
plants in small pots and they actually have taken forever to grow and I am not always very
patient when it comes to gardening. I want to see results faster. So the plants that I bought at the
garden center the other day are in big pots. They're quite big. So I'm going to show you what
I found. There will be only for this part of the garden. I'm plumbing today. So I bought this
what is it? Wild sage. A variety of sage that has purple flowers. I'm sorry I will write the
names in English on the screen for you but for now I'm going to just show them to you.
I don't always know the translations of the names in English.
So this one is a beautiful sage. A wild sage. Apparently it has purple flowers.
Sage being probably the easiest plant to grow on a garden. It grows very quickly, very easily.
It's not a very demanding plant. You just leave it there and it thrives.
And what is it? Butterfly. In French the translation in English would be
butterfly lavender. I don't know if that's what it's called in English.
I have one at home and I think that having one in the garden will be really nice too.
Well lavender. What is there to say about lavender?
Same as sage. Not much to do. It takes care of itself on its own.
Honestly there's nothing easier to grow than lavender. It just wants a little bit of light.
Over there we have another sage. Another variety. This one apparently has
little orangey yellow flowers. I don't know if you can see anything.
See it's quite big already. Yeah they will probably have beautiful flowers right away
very soon. That's why I'm glad that I bought big ones. Rosemary.
Another winner. It's an evergreen. It never loses its green even in winter.
So it's going to be a great addition. And the last one. Oh two.
This one is a variety of mint. It smells like
mojito. I don't know if you say it like that in English. The smell of this is just insane. This is
it makes you want to make a drink out of it. Probably the the most beautiful smell when it
comes to mint I think. I have another mint but this one I didn't have it and this is going to be
I know that I'm going to reuse it definitely.
Santolina.
It looks a little bit like a nimotelle or like lavender or a little bit like
rosemary too. It has the same kind of appearance.
Yeah reminds me of lavender. It smells really good as well.
Yeah it's very special. Probably the kind of thing that you can use for
meat. And apparently it makes beautiful yellow flowers.
I'm like a kid at Christmas every time I buy new plants.
you
