I think the global economy will shift.
The dollar may become less important.
I think that's the major shift.
I just think the balance of power is shifting.
I think Europe will be less dependent on the U.S.
I think Europe will probably go into an alliance with,
more of an alliance with places like Australia and Canada.
I think that the United States will be off by itself
until it realizes that it's part
of the world community of nations.
Hi, my name is Erika Robinson,
and I am the author of The Language of Lennar Mond.
I am also the creator of Erika's Lennar Mond of Hope.
And what I do is I use Lennar Mond,
which is a 36 card oracle to predict the future
and to talk about issues of importance
in politics and culture.
So that's basically what I do.
So about maybe 15 years ago,
I was married and had a daughter.
And my husband was sitting talking to me one night
and I had knitted some socks and he was wearing the socks.
I knit, you know, and he said,
oh, when I die, bury me in these socks.
And I said, nobody's gonna die.
What do you mean bury you in these socks?
And plus you love those socks so much
that you wore a hole in them.
I would be embarrassed to bury you in those socks.
And we laughed and then I don't know,
something came over me and I said to him,
listen, whoever dies first has to let the other one know
if there's anything, you know, after.
And he didn't say anything, he didn't smile,
but he did this, he stuck out his finger.
And I don't know if you know this,
but when you stick out your finger,
the other person sticks their finger out and you do this,
it's like a promise.
So he made a promise by going like this, okay.
A week later, he died.
Unexpectedly, it was a shock.
So the first thing I did after I left the hospital,
I went to the knitting store
and I got some beautiful gray cashmere wool,
the softest I could find.
And I knitted, knitted, knitted, knitted, knitted
as fast as I could.
And people would come to my house and they would say,
oh, you know, I'm so sorry for your loss.
And they would say, what are you doing?
What are you knitting?
And I say, socks.
And they'd say, oh, for whom?
And I said, my husband.
And I saw them looking at each other like, does she know?
Did she realize that he's dead?
But I kept knitting, knitting, knitting
and I finished them in time for the funeral.
So he had the socks for the funeral.
And I thought, okay, that's good.
I'm glad that I did that.
I kept the promise.
He wanted to be wearing socks that I made for him.
And then all these things started to happen.
Strange things.
So for example, I was at a yoga class
and the yoga teacher, I didn't know she was a medium.
And at the end of the class, she said, could I speak to you?
I said, yeah.
She said, you know, during the class,
your husband was in the back of the room
and he kept lifting up a glass of wine to you
like he was toasting you.
And I said, what?
I thought she was, you know.
And I said, what did he look like?
Well, she described him and it was him.
And then I said, well, was it red wine or white wine?
And she said, red wine.
And I said, oh, that wasn't him.
He liked white wine.
She said he was holding white wine.
I said, oh, that wasn't him.
He liked red wine.
That was it.
Later on, I went to the grocery store
and right next to the grocery store
was a store that sold alcohol.
It was in a little town.
And the man who owned it knew me, he knew my husband.
He said, oh, Mrs. Robinson, I'm so sorry for your loss.
And I said, thank you.
He said, could you come in here a minute?
And he has me go into the store.
And he said, before he died, your husband ordered you
this bottle of white wine.
And that's why he was holding the wine up,
to let me know, go get the wine.
So I thought, okay, that's really strange.
Then I found the cards.
First, I started to read Tarot.
And I read Tarot very well.
But then I found Lenormand.
It's only 36 cards.
The images on them are very archetypal
and easy to understand.
And so I started to learn how to read.
There were no real books out there.
I had to kind of teach myself.
There was one resource in French that I could read
and one in English.
So I read those and then I just practiced,
practiced, practiced.
So one day I had the grand tableau,
which is the big spread of all the 36 cards on my table.
The cards were just swiveling.
I couldn't read them.
And I started to get a little teary.
And then I heard a voice.
Now, I cannot hear in anything in my right ear
from when I was a baby,
but I heard the voice in my right ear.
And whose voice was it?
It was my husband's voice.
And what he said to me is,
Erica, it's not childbirth.
And I thought, wait, wait, what?
First of all, I'm hearing it in my deaf ear.
Second of all, that's my husband.
Third of all, what does he know about childbirth?
But wait, he said, it's not childbirth.
So then I thought, okay, well, what is childbirth?
It's hard work.
It's bearing down.
It's pushing.
But I did all that.
I memorized the cards.
I memorized the numbers.
I memorized the spreads.
I did all of the hard childbirth work.
He said, it's not childbirth.
And as soon as I realized what he meant,
he meant the opposite of bearing down and pushing
is letting go and receiving.
And from that moment on,
my readings became crystal clear and completely accurate.
So it was a miracle.
And then I got asked to write the book
and wrote the book.
And people are learning to love Letterman
the same way that they love Tarot.
So I'm very, very excited about that.
And I do know that my husband kept his promise,
that pinky swear, that when we go, we're not gone.
We're not gone.
And he has helped me in the years since.
So I know that life goes on.
I know that life goes on.
I would say in my dreams, absolutely.
Signs, yes.
And the cards are just very, very helpful.
Because when I first started to study them,
again, I was a new widow.
I had a daughter.
I had to send her to college.
I had a house.
It had a mortgage that I still had to pay off.
And so I would ask the cards all these questions.
And it didn't matter how many times I asked,
it would always answer the question.
And it would give me the answer using different cards
until it finally got through
that that was what the answer was.
So the cards became for me that friend
that you wish you had,
that you could call up at three o'clock in the morning.
You know, nobody wants to call their friend
at three o'clock in the morning,
but the cards can be that 3 a.m. friend, right?
That will help you and guide you
and show you that you're never by yourself.
We are always supported and guided and protected and loved.
I think we are definitely heading towards a major shift.
We have Pluto in Aquarius and that will shake everything up.
That will change everything.
And I think that that's not a bad thing.
I don't think that's a bad thing.
You know, for example, I live in the U.S.
where everything is about money.
I mean, it's all, that's what it is.
It's all about money, everything.
Even if it doesn't seem like it's about money,
it's about money or it's about race, black, white.
Even if it seems like it's not, it is.
All of that is gonna shift.
And you know, the shift will be harder for some people
than it will be for others, but it's definitely happening.
I think humanity is moving up, right?
I think there will be, yes, of course,
increases in things like floods and hurricanes
and earthquakes, of course, all of that,
because you know why?
Mother nature is not happy.
We do not treat the earth as we should.
And the earth is our mother and our home.
And we are disrespectful of that.
And so yes, there will be increasing natural disasters,
absolutely, especially now.
I think that America is in some difficulty
because of the president that we have.
I think that we are not making any friends right now,
but not everyone voted for that president.
But enough people voted for him that he is the president.
So I think that one big shift is that America
will not be the center of the world anymore.
I think that America will begin to be
sort of one country among countries.
And I don't know that, I think that's not a bad thing.
I think that's a good thing.
So that's, I mean, some people would say that's a negative.
I don't think it's a negative necessarily.
I think it's a positive.
I think that a lot of people at least here in this country
are still asleep to the reality of how things are.
But I think people are waking up
and I think that's very good.
I think that's very good.
I think, you know, financially,
I think things are not looking good with the markets.
And I think that will continue for a while.
But I think that money will also become less important
as we move forward.
I mean, that's a very good question.
I know that there are countries
that would like to be in the number one position,
like for example, China.
I, you know, I hope eventually when you ask about
is humanity raising its vibration, right?
I hope that it won't be a question of who's number one
and who's number two and who's number three.
I hope that we won't be looking at things in that way.
But in the short term, we'll see, it could happen, yes.
I, you know, I think that the government here
needs to change.
And until that happens,
I think things will be very difficult around the world.
I think the global economy will shift.
The dollar may become less important.
I think that's the major shift.
I just think the balance of power is shifting.
I think Europe will be less dependent on the US.
I think Europe will probably go into an alliance with,
more of an alliance with places like Australia and Canada.
I think that the United States will be off by itself
until it realizes that it's part of the world community
of nations.
You know, that means that as a country,
the United States has to be, what?
More peace loving than it seems to be in the moment.
You know, I'm concerned, for example,
about the Middle East.
I think that what's happening to the people of Palestine
is terrible.
I think it's terrible that we support it.
You know, again, part of this ascension,
part of us lifting up is realizing that,
that war is not helpful to anyone.
It's destructive all the way around.
But maybe we have to learn that the hard way.
I think there's the potential for it, but I hope not.
And I mean, I think that if we intend that that not happen
and we work towards that not happening,
then we can avoid it.
We should avoid it.
We've been through it twice.
We know what World War does.
It's not good.
But Trump's energetic impact, I think it's very bad.
I mean, it's very negative.
I mean, I think that the good thing about it
is that it's making people stop and say,
wait, wait a minute, what?
People who weren't paying attention before,
I think are starting to pay attention.
We've had huge demonstrations here last Saturday
saying this has to stop, he has to stop.
So I don't think he's good for America now,
but that's just my opinion.
There are a lot of people who think he is good for America
or else he would not be the president.
I think that people are, for example,
more aware of the fact that there are signs all around us.
We are surrounded by signs and symbols
that we usually don't pay attention to.
But I think that people are starting more and more
to pay attention to signs and symbols.
And that's evidence of people's consciousness being raised,
I suspect, yeah.
I think when people decide they don't want war,
that racial conflict is stupid,
that there need to be apologies made
for things that have happened in the past
and that people need to be lifted up,
I think that we'll be better off.
But I think it's gonna take a long time.
It may not happen in my lifetime.
It may not happen in your lifetime,
but I do think it's happening.
I think that people are moving away
from traditional religion
and are becoming more spiritual
and understanding that they don't need anyone
between them and spirit.
And I think that that makes the channel clearer
for us to be able to communicate with other forms.
Yes, that's a good question.
So do I believe that the challenges humanity's facing now
are part of a divine plan?
I think that human beings make a lot of mistakes.
I don't know that that's part of the divine plan.
I think the divine plan intends for us
to learn from our mistakes.
I think we come back again and again and again and again
to learn lessons.
That's what I think.
The divine plan, I think, is love.
I think God is love.
I think that our higher power is love.
And the divine plan is for us,
for our souls, to return to love.
But in order to do that,
we have to learn these hard lessons here
over and over and over again.
That's what I think.
So many ancient prophecies seem to align
with today's events.
Do I believe that they're accurate reflections
of our past and our future?
Yes, I mean, I think ancient prophecy,
the ancients were,
they may have been ancient,
but they were far more advanced than we are now.
You know, we've just found things recently,
the Italians, I think,
that underneath the pyramids in Egypt,
whole structures that are very, very sophisticated.
So I think that, yes,
I think these predictions are accurate.
I think they're divinely inspired.
Are all of them gonna come true?
Maybe not all of them,
but I do think that we should look to the ancients
for information about what we can expect in our future.
Yes.
Ancestors absolutely,
absolutely guide us.
When people leave, they don't leave.
They're just, you know,
everything is energy, right?
And energy is about things vibrating.
And some things vibrate slowly
so that we can see them, right?
And some things vibrate so quickly
that we can't even,
we can't see them with the naked eye,
but it doesn't mean that they're not there.
So when people pass, including our ancestors,
it doesn't mean that they're gone.
They've just changed form.
And I think that they absolutely do guide us,
surround us.
I'll tell you something, for example,
I mean, and this might sound obvious,
but I love to read.
And writers leave us blueprints
for how to engage with life.
So I think it's very important to be a reader
because our ancestors leave us many, many messages
through literature,
through ancient arts like the cards,
like tarot, like Adinkra, like runes.
I mean, there's so many different divination tools
that the ancestors have given us.
The ancestors give us their stories as well.
I mean, I'm African-American and it's an oral tradition.
So we have stories that are passed down,
passed down, passed down.
That is helpful as well.
So I think, yes, I think if we ask the ancestors
for guidance and help and support,
they will help us and guide us and support us.
I mean, let me say, this country was founded
on an assumption
that white men should rule over everyone.
Women did not have the vote.
Black people were considered only three-fifths of a person.
People who put together a constitution owned slaves.
So the documents have language that sounds beautiful,
but we have to decide whether we want to be
a more perfect union than what we are.
Are we in a karmic shift?
Yes, because in the same way, for example,
that the UK has had a karmic shift.
The UK, which colonized the world,
they have to answer for that.
America, which was built on the backs of slaves,
has to answer for that.
And I think that it's very difficult
for people to come to terms with that.
People here want to say, oh, that was a long time ago.
Don't think about that.
That was back then, that was in the past.
No, your past affects your future and your present.
And yes, I do think we are experiencing a karmic shift.
And I think we should.
Karmic shifts are good.
They may not feel good, but they're good.
When a person's facing many crossroads in the future,
how will tarot help them make choices?
Well, so I read Lennermond, which is different from tarot,
but it's the same principle.
I think that, here's what I think
about tarot and about Lennermond.
So we are a people and we have personalities, right?
We have souls as well.
And our higher self, our soul,
knows the past, the present, and the future.
But we, as regular human beings,
we might know the past and we might know the present,
but we can't know the future.
It's too much for our brains to compute, right?
Cards, when you use cards,
whether it's Lennermond, whether it's tarot,
they're a way of communicating with your own higher self,
the wisdom of your own soul.
And it can show you what your own soul knows on the table.
You see what I'm saying?
So that you can understand things in more depth
and in a more layered way, with more complexity.
And it's your own self, your own soul,
telling you the information, right?
Your everyday personality doesn't know it,
but your soul knows.
And that's what cards can help you understand.
I think, one more thing about that.
I always think it's a good idea
when you're consulting the cards,
to not say to the cards,
should I do this or should I do this?
Because you are the one who's in control.
A better way to say it would be,
what will happen if I do this?
What will happen if I do that?
And then see what the cards have to say.
Because you're the one who gets to be the decider on this.
Not the cards.
The cards are just ink on cardboard.
That's it.
But they're like a translation tool.
And they translate the words from the heavens
to the earth where you understand them.
So I would always suggest that people not say,
should I do this or should I do that
when you're asking the cards.
You should say, what will happen if I do this?
What will happen if I do that?
With so much uncertainty and instability in the world,
the question is, how can people find peace?
I think it's important to take time to be meditative.
I think meditation is good.
I think prayer is good.
I like to knit.
And I think that's, knitting is like meditation.
You can walk and that's meditation.
I think being quiet, being in nature
is a good way to be calm.
And I also think the work that I do,
reading cards for yourself is also a good way
to find your center and find your calm.
There are lots and lots of ways
that we can find peace and calm.
I think it's also by being active, I think,
by not letting everything swirl around and happen,
but to find a cause that you believe in
that you think is important and working towards that cause.
I think being in community with other people is important.
I think turning off the news sometimes is a good thing,
because here we're 24 hours with news, news, news, news.
It's good to know what's happening,
but you don't need to be watching it the entire time.
So turning off the news, listening to beautiful music,
making music, if you play an instrument or if you sing,
there are many ways.
For me, divination is a big way.
Reading for myself, but also for reading for other people.
When you help other people, it helps you.
When you help calm other people, you calm yourself.
Someone just beginning to send,
what advice would I give someone
just beginning to send spiritual gifts?
Congratulations.
I think it's not always an easy thing to say,
wait, before, all I believed was the things that I could see,
the things in front of me, right?
My phone, right?
My paper, I can see those things,
but now I see there's something more.
I think once you realize that,
the trick is just to stay open,
to realize that everything is a sign.
Everything can be a symbol.
And what will happen is your understanding will grow.
Ask to be given more.
Ask, for example, before you go to sleep,
if there's a problem,
ask to be given the solution in a dream.
That's a very good one.
I do that all the time.
Before you wake up in the morning, keep a little notebook.
And before you even get up,
even if your eyes are still closed,
write down what your dream was.
And you'll become better and better and better
at getting information from your dreams in your sleep.
So that's another good way.
And practice, practice, practice.
If you find a tool that you like,
if it's Tarot, great.
If it's Lenormand, that's great.
If it's runes, that's great.
If it's playing cards, that's fine.
There's so many different tools.
Find the pendulum, start with the pendulum.
I think that's a very good tool to start with at first.
What is yes, what is no?
And then ask the pendulum questions.
Dowsing rods, you know that those are,
you hold them and I should have had some somewhere.
Oh, right here.
Yeah, so you could use a pendulum.
That's a very good beginner tool.
So are dowsing rods, where you hold them.
And it will tell you yes or no.
Like you say, show me, show me yes.
That's yes.
Show me no.
Hold on, let's see this.
Show me no.
And that's no.
So I think it's good to think of it as play, as fun.
I think spirit likes that, when you have fun.
And to not be so tight with it.
So, you know, or to be frustrated with yourself,
if you can't get it right away.
It takes time to learn how to let go and how to be open.
You know, and to not think of it as childbirth.
Oh, I have to study this.
I have to really, it's the opposite.
It's just to be open and let go.
Read books as well.
There are lots of good books.
Mine is one of them, but there are many, many good books
that will help you open up to your spiritual gifts.
Thank you all for listening.
I'm delighted to have been introduced to you.
Again, you know, my book is The Language of Lenormand.
You can find me on YouTube.
My YouTube is called In the Company of Cards.
And I've given all of the links to those.
So that's my YouTube.
I'm also on Substack.
So Substack is where you find very good writing.
And I write every week.
I do an article where I mix,
I use three different systems.
I use Tarot, I use Lenormand,
and I used an African oracle called the Adinkra.
And I write an article where I let all of those three things
speak to each other to give us all a message.
So I would say, look for me on Substack
in the Company of Cards.
Look for me on YouTube in the Company of Cards.
And then my book is The Language of Lenormand
and you can find it anywhere.
