Amazing Street Food In Hong Kong

So welcome back to Hong Kong guys. So the street food video in Malaysia seemed to be quite popular
so I decided I'd do one here as well. So we're walking to Temple Food Market. So Hong Kong seems
to come alive more at night time so it's nearly seven o'clock here whenever it hits dark it seems
to bring the city to life. So we're going to head over try some delicious street food with an empty
stomach as always and I'll show you guys what's there. Okay guys we've made it here now we'll just
look at a few things and see what what we fancy. I'll probably end up just getting chicken again
and a dessert knowing me. Okay guys we're just going to try some beef here. It's just being
cooked at the moment so just like little cubes. You can get dumplings in that here as well. So
this is the finished piece. A few onions there as well which will not be eaten by me.
That's okay yeah. Tender again. Very nice yeah. Yeah pretty pretty straightforward.
Not much has to report now. So um camera on my face. Oh that's a bit too close.
Yeah it was about 50 HK so again at the bottom I will put the conversion to euro. So over here
we're just getting an egg puff made. The person I'm with is getting that. I don't really know much
about it but they got egg tarts there as well. So uh yeah just waiting on this to finish up in here.
It's just like the thing we got in Malaysia really isn't it? So let's try it.
Tastes something similar. Tastes like a pancake yeah. Pretty nice yeah. It's plain so there's not
much to report inside of it. The person I'm with is a pussy eater so it's not like me where I get
loads of good chocolate over it you know. That'd be more more down my alley. So just as we see
the inside of it's very very fluffy you know. So um it doesn't take a Gordon Ramsay to report on
this one. So away from the the little stalls and all there's places where you can actually sit inside
and kind of a restauranty type of thing. So you can walk around here for about 45 minutes
and there's something here for everybody to try. I just decided to come in here and
have a full meal. The street food's okay but it's nice to have a full meal. There's some rice coming
as well. We've got some chicken, spicy chicken here and we're gonna get this and see about dessert.
I'll be thinking I can put away an awful lot of food here. So that is what we're dealing with here.
Very very hot. You need to lead a bottle of water with you. So we just wrapped up there.
No room for dessert. It was a bit of a disaster that last meal. So my food it took like one hour
to get ready and they forgot half of the meal and then the person I was with it took their food
another 20 minutes and then they didn't want it at all. It just took the whole good out of it. So
we just finished that up and come home. So yeah one thing I've noticed here is there's not much
traffic. Even during the day there's not too many cars. I suppose it's because the public transport
is so good here. People don't really have to drive. But yeah there's surprisingly little
cars on the road. So one more thing before we wrap up this day. We'll continue on tomorrow
so there'll be a lot more coming. So this here Octopus card is very useful here. You just tap
it up. You can tap it up in like a circle here or 7-11. To keep it simple just give them the cash
and they'll tap it up scan the card. So you can get onto like the subway with this. You can pay
for a lot of stuff. There was a restaurant today that didn't take visa or mastercard. So it's handy
just to have an Octopus card with you. So that's just another little tip for here. So it's the next
day here in Hong Kong. I was told to come to Central. The Central stop by subway and I was told
there's a few things probably going to be happening here. And we're just going to come and
check it out. And I don't really know what to expect. So let's have a look around. Nothing
really planned to see. So I heard there's like a party street or something here. So
we'll go and have a look at that maybe. So it'd be a good place to go shopping if you're into that.
You have a lot of the big brands here you know. So you'll probably spend a day here shopping if
that's your cup of tea. So this here is actually the longest escalator in the world. I suppose
while I'm here I'm going to hop on it. Even just for a little bit. So the direction it's going,
we don't want to go that direction. So we'll stay in it for a little bit. I think it breaks up bit
by bit and there's no lift on the way down. So yeah there'll be a lot of walking involved if you
go all the way up to the top. So these sort of hill type of streets are pretty cool to be
walking around getting lost in. So literally everything here is snacks and food. It all goes
a way up, up and up and up. Keep walking here. We're walking here for about 10 minutes. Still
all food places. There's a couple of bars as well. Pretty cool. I'm actually enjoying it now.
And yeah the location of all these places here is just around where the escalator was at the
long one. So if you go around there and just walk upwards you'll get lost in amongst all those cool
little bars, restaurants and have a good little time. So back in the room now guys. There's
nothing too wild really happening in Hong Kong. So I'm struggling to get a lot of good content.
So I hope you enjoyed the couple of videos I put out. Short and sweet. It's just to give you an
idea of what Hong Kong's like. And the food is great. The people are great. You need a bit of
patience because there is a lot of people here. So just take your time and you'll be grand. And
the prices are similar enough to the West. So similar to European prices to be honest with you.
So it's not really a budget friendly place. The hotels are expensive enough too to be honest.
Unless you want to have a crammed little room. You can probably get a place for about 50 euros a night.
So yeah next stop is going to be Thailand. That should be a little bit more
wilder than here. If you want to support the channel guys just give me a little subscribe
below. It's free. It takes under three seconds. And yeah I want to have a good go with getting
this channel going. So everything helps guys. So as always I really appreciate you's watching and
I'll see you's in Thailand in about four or five days. Thank you.
