Hi guys and welcome back to my channel.
If you are new, welcome. My name is
Hannah and in today's video, we are
going to be doing a primary bedroom, a
decorate with me, as well as going over
some specs of my bedroom. So, if this is
something you are interested in
watching, just keep on watching. So,
like I mentioned in today's intro, we're
going to be heading into my primary
bedroom and I'm going to be decorating
all the different surfaces from my
nightstands, dresser, and accent table
to give you guys some ideas on
decorating your own bedroom. While we
are in my bedroom, I'm also going to be
addressing some questions that you guys
have regarding specs, details of how
high I have my pictures hung, what are
the sizes of the pillow covers on my
bed, how big is your rug. So, I thought
it'd be interesting to while we are
decorating my space that I'm going to
also give you guys some specs on all of
the different details throughout my
bedroom as well. So, if you have
questions, if you've had questions, or
if you're just in the process of
decorating your own bedroom and want
some direction of how to decorate as far
as scale and proportion and different
elements go, hopefully this video is not
only inspirational, but it gives you
guys a little bit of clarity on
questions you have regarding sizing when
it comes to your own space. But without
further ado, let's get into today's
video. Starting with the nightstand
styling portion, we're going to be doing
my husband's side first. This is a 40-in
wide nightstand from the company
Restoration Hardware. Our first element
are these vertical coffee table books
that are just going to be leaned right
up against that lamp. Next, I'm adding
two vessels of the same style in two
different sizes and then bringing a
texture which is going to be our
greenery. Now, typically when I style
nightstands, I will have each side look
different. So, you will see I'm having
greenery. I'm also having the books at a
vertical orientation. But once we get
over to my side, I will do a horizontal
style with coffee table books and do no
greenery. For the last element to my
husband's side, I brought this beautiful
onyx tray in. This is great for a
husband just because they're always
constantly pulling out change, wallet,
keys, some sort of drop dish or bowl is
perfect for a husband's nightstand
style. Moving over to my side, we are
going to be adding some coffee table
books again in that horizontal
orientation. So, it's going to look
different than my husband's side. And
then I'm adding this really fun brass
box right on top of it. Next, I have
this tray from Amber Interiors, a little
picture stand to add some height and
some color, and then bringing in the
candle moment. But clearly, if you want
to use this tray for bringing your rings
or anything you wear throughout the day,
just like the man's side, having some
sort of tray or bowl is going to be
perfect for that kind of drop station at
a nightstand style.

And I'd like to take a second to thank
today's sponsor, who is Wayfair. As you
all know, I really enjoy mixing both new
and old items with high and low price
points. This has been something I really
vocalize here on my channel. Wayfair has
been one of my go-to sites for shopping
all things home. It allows me to add
that new element to my space. I've been
able to incorporate beautiful items like
my sherling ottomans to add the perfect
amount of texture, rustic candle vases
to showcase my beautiful faux stems, a
concrete tray to add another material to
my kitchen, or vintage inspired decor
pieces for a sideboard or console style.
Wayfair's items have truly elevated my
spaces and gives my home a true mix of
new and old items. With thousands of
products to choose from that will fit
anyone's design, style, and budget,
Wayfair has so much to offer. Design
styles include modern, contemporary,
rustic, indoor or outdoor, and more.
Wayfair has all you need and more to
make your house a home. Don't forget to

sponsoring this portion of today's
video. Without further ado, let's get
back to the video. Shifting gears over
to my accent table and chairs. This is a
30-in round table from Mickey and Co.
And typically when I style a table of
this size, I will do almost a triangular
formation. So having something in the
top, middle, and bottom. I always
suggest to when you are styling a round
table of any sort to have a mixture of
different shapes. So mixing that round
with square for really fun and unique

look. Moving on to the last surface of
my bedroom, which is my dresser that
stands directly across from my bed. This
is an 85 in long dresser from
Restoration Hardware. On the far
left-hand side, I'm bringing in a vessel
with five faux olive stems for color,
texture, and height. I'm then adding two
woven boxes for storage and keepsakes.
In the middle, I'm adding two coffee
table books at a vertical orientation.
And then on the far right hand side of
this dresser, I have my table lamp. And
then two fluted pedestal bowls and a
beautiful viola marble. When it comes to
the specs, the mirror above is 60 in in
diameter and sits 8 in from the top of
my dresser to the bottom of the mirror.
For the sconces, I have them 5 in apart.
So, definitely have connection there.
You don't want to have any of your
things hung too high or too far apart
because that is when you lose the

disconnect.

Moving on to the textiles and how I make
my bed. I have two rows of king-size
sleeping pillows. When I make my bed, I
will have the opening portion of the
pillowcase faced inward. So that way you
don't have a floppy material being seen
from the exterior. In front of those
pillows, I'm bringing my decorative
pillows, which starting with the
largest, which is a 24x 24 pillow cover
with a 26x 26 insert within that. In
front of that, I'm bringing a 22x 22
with a 24x 24 insert. And lastly,
topping it off with the lumbar pillow in
front, which is a 18 by 12. Everybody
always asks me how I make my bed and how
does it look so clean. This is a faux
comforter from Castaluna. And I just do
the hospital fold on the corners and
tuck it in for a really nice and clean,
sharp
look. When it comes to my bed, I'm all
about layers and different textures.
Starting with this beautiful olive green
velvet quilt that I found at HomeGoods.
And on top of that, I'm adding a chunky
knit quilt that I got from Target. This
is by the brand Kasaluna. And then on
top of that, I'm adding a throw blanket.
This is a recent purchase from the brand
Lola Blankets. This is a polyester, very
luxe feeling blanket. Very cozy vibes. I
wanted to do a review on this because
this blanket has been going viral and I
wanted to see if it was worth the price
tag or not. I definitely do see the hype
to it, but I would never spend the
amount of money that these are going
for. But if you want to see the full
review, be sure to check out my
Instagram page. Moving on to my area
rug. This is a 9x12 underneath a
king-size bed frame. Now, I used to have
an 8x10 rug, but I felt like most of the
rug was sitting underneath the bed, and
you lost a lot of the pattern. So, I
ended up upgrading and did a 9 by12, and
I feel like this fits my space better.
The rug is sitting a little bit over
halfway underneath my bed frame and
right up to my nightstands. Moving on to
my artwork, these are a 36x 48 in
artwork piece. They are sitting about 6
in from the top of my headboard to the
bottom of the artwork. Moving on to my
drapes. These are hung as high to the
ceiling as I can. We do have beams in
here, so I've limited on bringing it all
the way to the ceiling, but typically
when I order drapes, I will double the
width. So, if you want a really full lux
look, if you have a 40in window, I would
recommend doubling that to an 80 in. My
chandelier is 48 in in diameter, and it
hangs 27 in from the ceiling. I didn't
want my chandelier hanging too low just
because it would be right in the view of
our art prints.

All right, you guys, and that is it for
today's video. I hope you enjoyed coming
into my primary bedroom and decorate

intro, hopefully all of the details that
we discussed within today's video is
helpful when it comes to decorating and
designing your own primary bedroom. And
I also want to thank Wayfair again for
sponsoring today's video. But until the
next video, I love you guys so much.
Thank you for being here and we'll see
