"The Invictus Games is very important to us, it’s changing our lives.”
Our final spotlight of coaching during International Coaching Week brings us to one of the newest members of the Invictus Community - Brazil and the wonderful role played by their Team Manager Davi Pavelec.
It's the first moment of Brazil in Invictus,
and for us it's very exciting.
Our athletes suffering some injuries in your job, in your life,
and these sports saving lives.
These sports changing lives.
Invictus is this, is life.
And we are very excited and thankful for Canada,
for Invictus, for all around us.
We are very nervous,
and the first game is very important because it's the beginning.
We need to fix some points,
and we hope in the next game more calmly, more easily,
and go to the road to the final.
This is very special.
Invictus for us is other feeling.
It's love.
This sport change us, change lives.
Invictus is very important to us.
It's changing our life.
Team gold medal in sitting volleyball goes to Brazil in straight sets.
21-16, 21-7.
They discover a possibility to have new friends,
new sports, new other countries,
experience which we don't have in other competitions.
It's very different.
Love in this place.
I am victorious.
I am Invictus.
