Welcome to Handworking, look at what a beautiful project we have today, today we have a gem to
crochet, a fashion accessory that you will love, bracelet or bracelet, I do not know what
name you know it, write it here in the comments because I like to know depending on the
region what name they give fashion accessories, but look today I want to teach you step by step how to
crochet this beautiful bracelet that we are going to work, look, nothing more than with two stitches, with three, because we are going to
crochet the chain stitch, the half stitch and the brioche stitch, you are going to see how easy it is, you need very little
material, so I invite you to join me, of course also to subscribe if you have not
done so yet, activate the bell and all notifications if you want to crochet crochet with me
so that you receive the notification every time I share a new project, let's see now what
materials I use and the step by step, well look at the materials that I am going to use to crochet
this bracelet, it is a cord that is made up of polyester, 100% polyester, the ball contains
300 grams, it is recommended for 4 or 4.5 millimeter crochet hooks, it is ideal for crocheting
bags or fashion accessories like this, we are going to work with two crochet measures of 3.5
millimeters and 4 millimeters, we are going to need to burn a little at the end of our project,
so we melt it and as it is polyester it sticks, we also need scissors and a stitch marker,
for those who consult me many times for the materials that I use, look, this is a
polyester cord, that is, if you do not get the same brand, do not worry, in wool stores,
in stores where they sell ribbons and everything related to sewing and crafts,
you can use any cord and of what the label recommends you, you are going to work with one
a little smaller apart from the one that the label recommends, so any polyester cord
so that it is a little rigid and helps us with this work, we are going to start knitting with the
3.5 millimeter crochet hook, look, I leave a little long there, we make a slip knot and I am going to
knit the amount of chains that I need to cover the entire contour of my hand, so that I can
start this round, any number of chains, we do not need a special number,
just knit the chains until we get that size that we need for our hand,
well we work up to here 33 chains, remember that you are going to knit the amount you need
so that it reaches the contour of your hand, we are going to look now, look, not there because it is the
slip knot where we start the round and if we knit there, the work is undone, so not there,
we are going to go to this next chain, but we are going to take it the other way around, there is that strand, so I bring the
yarn and I make my first slip stitch, there if you want, I think it is not so necessary, but if you want you
can place a stitch marker, we go to the next chain of base and I will always take them
backwards, so we are going to work on that strand that we see there, then next chain
of base, I position myself, I bring the yarn, I make a slip stitch, next chain of base, there I take
that strand behind, I bring yarn and I make a slip stitch, we are going to work all this first round in this
way, making a slip stitch like this, on each chain of base, taking the back strand
on the inside side of the chain, like this until the round is completed, look, wait that we are going to
knit here and now I want to show you, this would be the right of the chain, of all the
base chains, we are working on the back, there we take that strand, I bring the yarn and I make a
slip stitch, and so I will continue until I complete the whole round, look, if it is a little more
comfortable for you for this type of project, when we work with materials like this, you can take the
hook in this way, see? there, bring the strand and we make a slip stitch, next chain of base,
then out there it may be a little easier for you, because as we need to do a
little bit of strength, sometimes manipulating the hook, learning to take it in another way is very
useful, well, I continue like this until I complete the whole round, let's see that we are already completing the
round, we have to work on the last chain, see? I have that chain there, here is my stitch marker,
then I am going to turn it upside down, like this, and I take the back strand of that chain, there, let's see, there, I bring the
yarn and I make a slip stitch, now look, we do not close the rounds, we will continue working
always in a spiral, I am going to remove the marker, we already know where we should work, look,
stretch a little so that it does not come undone, as we are going to work this round number 2, we are going to
knit all the rounds, until the last one, then we are going to change another detail, look, we are going to
take the back strand of each base chain, there, like this, I have here, it is made up of a chain of
two strands, I am going to take this one, and so with each one, but from here I am going to change the
crochet hook, for the moment I am going to go to the crochet hook, now of 4 millimeters, then we return to the
3, then look at my next base chain, it is not there, look, let's see, yes, sorry, it is there, I am going to
work in that chain, there is a stitch, sorry, with the yarn, with the yarn, because here we already change the
stitch, with the yarn I go to that first chain, I bring a strand, I turn my hook like this and I remove the
two strands together, do not worry about this difference that you see here, because when we are
finishing the project I am going to show you how we do so that we have the best possible, then I
take the yarn, I look for my next base chain, the strand from behind, I bring it, I turn my
crochet hook like this and I remove the two, again I take the yarn, my next base chain, I bring
the strand, I turn my crochet hook like this and I remove those two, the yarn, next base chain, I bring the strand, I turn
my crochet hook, I remove the two, and so I am going to work throughout the round, look, if you want, place a
marker, but it is not necessary because this is already indicating where we are changing or starting a
new round, so I am not going to use it because it is more comfortable for me without a stitch marker, I am going to
continue working like this, in this way, as simple as this, until I get the width that I want for
my bracelet, nothing more than that, look like this, they will always go knitting and repeating the same round, you see?
like this, they turn, the yarn, next base chain, I bring the strand, I turn, the yarn, next base chain, I bring the
strand and I turn, you see? Well, I'm going to continue and I'll show you that when we go through here we continue working in the
same way, well, you see? I already completed this whole round with this stitch, this stitch is known by the name
of Brioche stitch, it is very beautiful, well, I take the yarn and continue knitting in a spiral, look at the
work from up there, here where we started it, we look from up there and I continue, you see? I bring the
yarn, I turn my hook, I remove 2, I bring the yarn, I go to the next chain, I remove 2, I bring the yarn, you see? Notice that by changing the
hook, the size of the hook, now this is like the fabric opens a little and that is the idea,
we want to give it an effect like this, then round, so I will continue knitting in this way
until I get the width that I want for my bracelet, we are going to count the rounds in
Brioche stitch that we are working on, at this moment it is my second round of Brioche stitch, yes?
So if I count from the beginning it is my round number 3, but at the beginning it was only a
round of slip stitch and nothing else, then count as you prefer, nothing happens, it
is important to keep in mind how many rounds you are working on in case you want to knit another bracelet of the same
size, yes? So I'm going to continue knitting like this, always in a spiral, until I get approximately
the width I want for my bracelet, then I share with you because we are going to work by changing the
hook our last round, well let's see, look, so far I worked 6 rounds with
Brioche stitch, plus the first round that I worked with slip stitch, I am in round number 7,
I remove my hook, look at how it looks on the inside of the bracelet and how it looks on the
outside, there is a beautiful stitch, very different from everything we usually see, well
look, I am going to change, I return to the 3.5 mm hook and I work my last round of slip stitch,
so I look for my next stitch at the base, there I bring a strand and I just make a slip stitch and
now I am going to place my stitch marker because if not, I will not realize exactly
which is the last stitch, I continue, I look for the next base stitch, I bring a strand and I make a
slip stitch, next base stitch, I bring a strand and I make a slip stitch, and so we are going to work
throughout this round with the 3.5 mm hook, making only the slip stitch
throughout the round, I completed the whole round, so now I'm just going to cut the strand,
we're going to remove our strand there, look, there we finish, I remove my hook, the stitch marker
and we are going to close the round as we always do, but we do not need the sewing needle,
they are simply going to do this, they skip the first stitch that I have there below, which is where
the stitch marker was, and we go to the next stitch at the base, look, I come from here
behind there, we are going to take this strand and bring it here, now here where I knit my last
slip stitch, I am going to position myself and bring that strand, sorry, that strand towards here, look there
we have formed a chain and we already have it here, to that strand, now we are going to do the following, I am going to
also bring it through this other strand so that it is well inwards, there, now yes, that's how it should
be and then I'm going to lose it a little bit, not a lot, I don't need a lot, too much, so I'm going to
try to go through these strands and bring it inwards, then we are going to burn it, as
we said, with the lighter to secure it well, look, I bring it a little more over here, as this is
the inner part of the bracelet, it will not be seen, now here we can cut it, I adjust it well, I am going to cut it
there, we are going to burn it as I told you a little bit, there it goes and we already have it stuck, now we have
to work the same on this other side with the beginning of this other strand, look there we have that
slipped knot, so what am I going to do? I'm going to skip this stitch from here, I'm going to go to the next one, there you see,
there, but I always come from the outside, from the outside, I do strength because I take the two strands, there I take this
strand outwards, let's say the bracelet and now look, we turn the work and we are going to come through
these other two strands from here, I bring it inwards, let's say and there we already secure it very
well, we take it inwards and repeat the same thing we did before, we cut it and
burn it a little bit, adjust it well there, finally we burn it a little bit, that melts
and it is stuck in there and look at what beauty, now we have to shape it, what we do is
bring it inwards, you saw that for that we also work with two crochet measures, so
we are going to shape it well like this and complete our bracelet, I don't know if I told you but
work with the brioche stitch a total of six rounds, that is, we start with a round of
slip stitch, six rounds in brioche stitch and another round with slip stitch, in total there are
eight rounds for this bracelet measure, well, what do you think? I loved it, first they stretch a
little there and then they give it the shape that you like the most and if possible they can even
take it more inwards, so that the part is well bent, look how beautiful,
I love it, on the other side we do the same, that it fits us well inwards and there is a beauty,
