How's it going everybody? I'm Nikki Delventhal and this is my dog Camper Delventhal.
We lived in a Prius full-time for three years but now we're in a 4x4 Sprinter and we're here
to take you along on the wild ride. So fasten up your seat belts and let's have some fun.
Don't forget if you like what you see, like, subscribe, comment, share with your friends,
and turn on notifications. Camper and I would be so thankful. On last week's episode,
Camper and I spend our first week in our new van. We leave Portland and head to the snowy
mountains to test out our new heated floors. While staying over in the snow park, we take
you on some nature walks, scenic drives, and hike to a gorgeous lake. And finally,
we head to Bend to drop off Camper for a few days on a staycation with his best buddies.
3 30 in the morning.
They didn't even sleep last night. Who's ready for an adventure? This girl.
I bet you that's our plane. That means we have to get moving. We were kind of slow this morning.
All right. Prep the vehicle for a few days. Pack, pack, pack, pack. Finish packing. Hurry.
Why are you doing this again? I do this every time. I guess whatever we have, we'll have to do.
So why aren't backpacks a good idea? This felt like such a good idea until this morning.
I feel like I'm going on a backpacking trip. I'm not. So you're sitting there and you're
probably wondering, Cole, what are you doing wearing a puffy jacket and sandals? Well,
I'd love to tell you, but it's one of the world's mysteries. Oh God, we're late. We gotta go.
It's really cold. Goodbye. I love you.
Can confirm Redmond Airport has the friendliest airport staff on the planet. That was so pleasant.
All right. We're doing good. We got our flight. Walked like a mile to ground transportation.
Now we're waiting for our driver. We're going to go pick up two other creators. Apparently,
one is from China and one is from Korea. So cool. And then we're going to get to our hotel. We got
a four-hour drive. Here we go. Hi. All right, guys, we got Ron here. Hi there. We're getting
We made it. Thanks, Ron. You're the best. Nice. Hell yeah.
And now that we're here, let me tell you why. Now, if you guys have been following along,
you may remember a few weeks ago, we joined BFGoodrich at one of the most badass off-road
races in America. And we had so much fun, they invited us back for more. But this time,
we are in Moab, Utah for the Easter Jeep Safari. Thousands and thousands of people come from all
over to take on Moab's roughest terrain. It is filled with wild vehicles, wild people,
wild fun, and you get to come along with us. I am so excited, but it's been a long travel day.
So first, we are going to get a good night's rest and pick right back up in the morning.
Good morning, you guys. We have all got our own Jeep. We're ready to hit the trails.
You ready? Let's do this. So pumped up. Enjoy the drive. And like I said, we'll limit our
chat until we get out a little ways. It's probably about 20, 25 minutes before we get to the
pictures, and we'll be running right along the Colorado River. I'll also be pointing out a couple
of the trailheads as we get going because there's some that are pretty significant that you've heard
about. This is a beautiful intro trail. So each day, the trails are going to get harder and harder,
and they all are completely different scenery-wise. So you guys are in for a treat because this is
nothing. I'm going to work out today.
Hello. Hello.
Whoa. Have you seen one of these in the wild before? It's my first time.
This is wild. Did I just get in the sand? Not quite.
All the trails getting a little shaky. A little rugged.
All right, checking out the viewpoint. Who the chopper? We're going to pump you up.
You guys, one of my favorite parts of these trips is that I get to meet some of the most badass women
on the planet. So come on in, ladies. We have Gabby and Charlene. Badass females all around me.
This is like heaven. Surrounded by Jeeps, this is Gabby's sexy Bronco. This is the most un-Jeep
Jeep that's ever Jeeped. I've always wanted to live in an off-road vehicle. It's going to happen.
Oh, what's up, baby? My head's too big. Do you see this? It doesn't even fit. You got
in there. I do have a big brain. It's pretty sexy. Oh, got stuck.
Did you see me jump?
Next stop in an hour? Do you want to drive? Yeah, probably, right?
All right, Sam? Yeah. You ready? Ready, Freddie.
So I'll be behind the wheel for about an hour now. Sam will report
on how she's feeling periodically. Here we go. Of course I did the hard part.
Sam, what do you think? I think you're doing awesome, Nikki.
This is a far cry from the one safari Nikki we knew. This is like Indiana Jones Nikki.
That's right. I'm surprising everybody out here with my
driving skills. I'm actually a very good driver. Look at that. I'm just killing it.
That girl's a badass. That's me. That's me.
We're taking a lunch break and we have quite some surprises here.
Damn, we've been on the trail for two and a half hours. 14.4 miles. Who's ready to eat me?
Oh, we got sandwiches. Yummy. You got some nice buns, girl.
Got buns out. Probably not that many things that are better than a sandwich outdoors.
Charlene said there's some really cool caves back here. There's some,
and they're all built by wind. So this is truly wind caves. This is what happens when the wind
does its job. And then also rocks will fall in and it's pretty incredible. I know. Speaking of wind.
I just want to go explore some caves. Let's send you in. Sure. See what happens.
Hello, sir.
Beautiful. Going in deep. Oh, wow. Gotcha.
Go for it. All right. It's like a little teamwork. Makes a dream work.
These caves connect all the way through to the other side.
Oh, my God. It's tight.
Oh, my goodness. Oh, I smacked my head. I just smacked my head.
We did it. Hello. Good to see you today. Oh, God, this is scary.
We're going on a little hike to the ledge over here. We hear it's a little sketchy, but it's fun.
Hold on to the wall. Now, this is what we call a view.
Go, Nikki. Go, Nikki. Go.
What can I say? I've had my days of gobering.
There they are. Coming down like a slide. Right on your bum. Yeah, exactly.
All right. We have officially reached the end of the trail. Now, back the full way we came.
All right. Let's get in. We're going to fast forward this a little.
Jungle Sam at your service. And tricky Nikki.
Back to pavement where I belong. That was amazing. Before we head back for the evening,
we are going to stop by at Grandpa's Garage.
Hello, ladies. Welcome to Grandpa's Garage. Cool. I found it. This is Danny.
Hi. Nice to meet you all. Grandpa's Garage is pretty incredible. It's free to come here,
but you do need to bring a case of beer. When people break down when they're out on the trail
and they know about Grandpa's Garage, Danny opens the door for them to come in and work on their
stuff. So every night here, especially during Easter Jeep Safari, it's highly entertaining.
After three and a half years of camping, living in vehicles, overlanding, one of my absolute
favorite products on the market is the Jackery Portable Power Station. And if you've been
following along for a while, you know I've been using it for years. It was my sole source of power
in my Prius and my truck camper. And now in this van, I use it as backup. So now when I'm going
off-grid and I know it's going to be days where my power may not keep up with my consumption,
I'll use my Jackery Portable Power Station. I will have that charging out in the sun or while
I'm driving through the carport. And that way, I know no matter what, I will have power. I highly
recommend having one not just for camping or in vehicles, but also at home for power outages
and emergencies. You can be back up in just seconds. By the way, if you are in the market
for a Jackery, please use the link in my description as it really helps out camper and I,
but also I have a huge discount code down there for you guys that could save you hundreds.
All right, back on our adventure. All right, you guys, here we go. Day two, Easter Jeep Safari.
Thumbs up, guys. Woo. Sam's like, no, I'm not into this right now.
I'm into this. Who's ready to go off-roading?
We are. I already feel like I'm off-roading. I can't even walk straight.
Oh, thank you, sir.
I'm going to get a running start. That was good.
We've made it. We made it. Good morning, Sue. You're looking beautiful.
Joe, I'm so sad it didn't work. What, you're juggling? I ran out of space.
Out of your minds. Yeah, that is trust.
Dear God, you scare me. Dude, where's my car?
Dude, where's my car? All right, now we're leaving the pack. Next stop, Dead Horse Point for lunch.
Cheers. Cheers. Cheers.
We drove this, went right around, up that pass, and around to this viewpoint.
Just dropped off the Jeeps. Now we're picking up UTVs. We're taking these babies out tomorrow,
but also to the hotel. Oh, this one? This way. It might work better if it's not going over this
You know, I thought I could tighten this and it won't go anywhere.
No, Justin? No. Seriously? Yeah.
Yeah. All right, we're taking the UTVs to get some jerky and check out the Jeep activation.
Who's ready for some beef jerky? Me.
Oh, yay, these are only the best damn jerky. Why does it look very closed?
No. Old Ye Geyser is closed April 2nd to the 10th.
We're checking out all the new Jeep concept vehicles. This one is by far my favorite.
Pass through to your bedroom. All right, guys, this is awesome,
but we're going to fast forward to tomorrow when we hit the trails and the UTVs.
Good morning, everyone. We are about to hit the trails today. We are doing Hell's Revenge
and Fins and Things. It's going to be wild, but first we went to Doebert's. I love croissant
donuts. Welcome to America, Joe. This is what the Jeep people do, right? That was it. All right,
you guys, we are about to hit some of the gnarliest trails in Moab. What did you do with
Nikki? Headbutt. Give good clubs. Cavity check. Ready? Before we get going, remember,
follow the rules, stay on trail, and tread lightly. Let's go.
All right, let's go. Shake and bake, Ricky Bobby. If you're not first, you're last.
I'm like a true content creator.
And that's what I call driving. Friends, it is my turn to drive, but we are about to hit Hell's
Revenge. It is going to get wild. And by the way, if you want to watch that in a Porsche,
I'm going to link that right here. It is crazy, and I am so nervous. I'm going to pee my pants.
This is going to be so scary. You guys, I'm so nervous. How did I end up with this big boat?
So, we have the dinosaur tracks right here. Oh, am I on them? Oh, goodness.
And then they get a little more defined. There's a dinosaur out here.
What are these? The ones that slap the ground.
All right, we just saw some dinosaurs and some dinosaur tracks,
but we've got to get moving so we can get in front of these Jeeps. Oh,
God. We don't want to get held up. You were born for this.
Taking a little break for lunch. I am so proud of myself. I'm proud of you.
Yeah, that was so good. As you'll see, there are a ton of spectators. This is for Hell's Gate. If
you want to see a Porsche do it, watch that link I talked about earlier. It's freaking wild. Lunch
with a wild view. People flip over here all the time. That was insane. Oh, we got more.
We can confirm he's okay. They're getting a winch and they're pulling him out.
My heart is racing. This is insane. It was like slow motion.
So, knowing that they have rolling cages and everyone inside is okay, it seems like it's just
damage to the vehicle. Thank goodness. So, there's no risk of rolling over right now.
They're just pulling him right out. There they go. We can add another winch.
People roll down this all the time. So, now you understand why I was saying how nuts it was that
my buddy did this in his Porsche. Wow, you guys. Look at that. Minimal damage. Just the window.
That's nuts. How are you guys feeling? We're good. It was slow. It was a slow move? It was
just really slow and controlled. Yeah? Did you feel slow and controlled? Yeah. Actually, I did.
How did you feel about how quickly everyone came? That was incredible. Oh, that was great, yeah.
That's the kind of people that come here. Yeah. Good work. Greg Henderson, Charlene Bauer,
great job on that recovery and leadership. So, that's what it takes to do a good recovery though
is leadership. We both know what we're doing. A lot of people start freaking out. You have to
immediately take over, calm the situation down, make sure it's safe, and then do the right thing
instead of trying to just rush. You saw what we needed to do right away was upright the vehicle
because what's happening is the oil inside the engine is just filtering into places it shouldn't
be. So, what's going to happen next and what they're going to do now, we'll move the vehicle
to a safe spot, open the hood, they'll pull all the spark plugs out, crank it over, get all the
oil out of the cylinders before you try and start it because if you were to try and start it right
now, there's a very high likelihood you would destroy the engine. Great. To wash down that
excitement, we are going to go relax at a beautiful viewpoint. This is what we call
balance, a little excitement with a little bit of relaxation and beauty and radio sound.
All right. Right now, we are looking at the Colorado River. It is so beautiful out here.
Some nice camp spots and some beautiful friends. Hey, looking fly. How are we feeling, friends?
All right. Ready, co-pilot?
All right, we did it. That's a wrap. Dinner, good night's sleep, and it's back home to our van
and camper. Thanks, Charlene. We had the best teacher.
We had the best teacher on the planet. Thank you. All right, family.
Who's ready to go to the show? Nice. All right, let's go. I love my BFG fam. We love you too.
It's really quiet when you're not here. Is it really? Yes. Oh, no. It's really peaceful.
You're welcome for enhancing your life. I have no place to talk, I'm just saying.
Who can get back to the car without dropping their duck?
Are you kidding me? How does it feel to be a winner? I'll always be a winner.
There's a fry hanging out the side.
Group hug.
I love you guys.
Oh, you didn't expect me, did you? Hi there, camper. All right, you ready to go home?
Are you ready to go home? I think someone's excited.
I'm so happy to see you. Oh my goodness. Thank you.
And out comes the cave monster.
I haven't eaten in six days. Sam is looking pretty good.
