Hey, I'm Stephanie, part of the band Kari Kari.
It's always hard to explain what I do, because I do a lot of different things.
I would say I'm a vocalist, I'm probably the bass section, live, of Kari Kari.
And I'm the person who plays all the weird instruments.
So let's get into it.
I think a live favorite is this thing here.
It's basically a PVC pipe, but it sounds like a didgeridoo.
So yeah, you have the beeswax and it's with wireless, because I like to move with it.
And it was kind of hard to put it on a standing mic.
So we decided to always go wireless with this one.
And I've got two of them.
One's tuned in D.
And it's really interesting, because it's like the length and is it width does make it like
you have to cut it just the right way to get the right tuning.
So I've got a D and an A.
And then there is a synth bass.
It's just a easy Korg monologue.
Nothing special.
It's just to have this fat sub when there needs to be some more.
And I don't really use just a small part of it, just get a little drive in if it needs to be.
And I've never learned to play piano or something.
So I really have to have a color code on it, especially in our shows, it really gets dark
and a lot of strobe.
And then I'm like, I can't find the piano anymore.
Then, yeah, really easy sampler, the classic.
I think it's Roland SK-404 MK2.
So it's the newest one.
I've just changed it because I had the model before it.
The weird thing is now that they, like, it's just you don't press it anymore.
It's, yeah, that was something I really had to get used to it.
But it works fine.
And yeah, actually, this is also very new for me.
But as Alex already explained, we, like, I do also loop the bass and that's running through
the Boss RC-500 as well.
I can also loop my voice.
And for this, because it was somehow hard to go, like, to have one line that's not going
through the whole thing.
And so I added the Vocaloid from Radial, the Vocaloid book to, like, you go in and out
there and you can, you know, get this and this also in.
So I can loop my voice and have the Delay Llama from Jam Pals also.
So I can, you know, do some space echo kind of stuff on my voice.
Actually got to add something that's in the making at the moment.
Someone is, you know, building a rig for this so I can adjust the voice on here because,
you know, the movement.
Yeah, then there's some other nice stuff.
That's my jaw harps.
I use a D and an E.
Just, I play them just over a normal microphone.
They're nice.
Always a hit on the live concerts.
Yeah, and then it's just, you know, just some percussions, cowbell, shaker, tambourine.
So yeah, for the microphones, we've got two Lewitts.
It's a brand from Austria and actually there was, like, we had, like, AKG is from Austria
and they closed down their branch there.
And I think formerly employees from AKG found a Lewitt and that's why we have them.
Because our audio engineer from Austria, he used to work for AKG and then Lewitt.
And so we are kind of endorsed also.
That was my rig done and thanks for watching.
