What would you do if you could live anywhere in the world? William Nylander, fresh off signing an eight-year, $92 million contract extension with the Toronto Maple Leafs, chose to stay loyal to The 6ix. In this episode of Famous Entertainment, we’re giving you an exclusive inside look at Nylander’s $2 million dollar Toronto penthouse—a sleek, private escape perfectly suited for one of the NHL’s biggest stars.

Guys, I have an important announcement
about this channel. There is someone
trying to take this channel, Famous
Entertainment, Down and have everything
that I've worked so hard on deleted.
Click the link in the top comment and
I'll explain everything at the end of
this video. So, please stay tuned. What
would you do if you could afford
property anywhere in the world? For
William Niender, the answer is simple.
call Toronto home. The Maple Leafs star
forward just in the largest contract in
franchise history, an eight-year 92
million extension, catapulting him into
the NHL's financial elite, and giving
him the freedom to live wherever he
chooses. And yet, despite the ability to
snap up real estate in any global hot
spot, Nlander's heart is firmly planted
in Toronto. With his future in Toronto
secured and his keys to the city in
hand, Nlander is living proof that
sometimes the best place in the world is
exactly where you are. You might also
know that we make these videos just
outside of Toronto and are obviously
cheering for the Leafs to finally take
home the Stanley Cup. When the Raptors
won the NBA in 2019, it was the biggest
celebration I've ever seen living in
Toronto. And we imagine if the Leafs
win, it'll be even bigger. To cheer our
boys on in blue, we've teamed up with
our year.ca CA who are selling custom
merch in anticipation that this year the
boys will bring it home and end the
curse we've been living in since 1967.
Be sure to go grab some merch for
yourself. You'll find a link down below
and in the description. For now, let's
get into this video. Stay tuned for this
exclusive look at William Nlander's
Toronto life and let us know in the
comments who you'd like to see next.
William Nlander was born in Calgary,
Alberta, while his father Michael
Nlander played for the Flames. Raised in
a family that moved constantly for
hockey, William spent his childhood
across North America and Europe
following his dad's professional career.
The family moved frequently as Michael's
career took him to various cities
including Tampa Bay, Chicago,
Washington, Boston, and New York. The
New York Times article specifically
mentions a main house, guest house, and
barn where William practically lived
while growing up, likely referring to
the home in one of these cities where he
spent his formative years. After being
drafted eighth overall by the Leafs in
2014, William finally found a place to
plant roots, Toronto. This is the
longest I've ever spent in one place in
my entire life, Nlander says. It's
funny. The other day, I was talking to a
friend and I said, and then we go home.
in referring to Toronto. Without even
thinking about it, this was home. Known
for his on ice brilliance and off ice
privacy, Niander keeps the details of
his real estate holdings tightly under
wrap. While it's public knowledge that
he owns properties in both Canada and
Sweden, the exact locations and
specifics remain a closely guarded
secret. What we do know is that after
years of bouncing between luxury hotels
and condos, Nlander settled in the
city's exclusive Yorkville neighborhood,
calling a modern high-rise apartment his
sanctuary. In a 2024 interview, Nlander
made it clear this is home. It's the
longest I've ever spent in one place.
He's so rooted in Toronto that his
brother Alex, now with the Marleys,
moved in for the summer, turning
Williams apartment into a true family
hub. Nlander's early Toronto years were
nomadic. He lived at the Four Seasons,
the St. Regis, and the Ritz Carlton, and
spent time in the West End
neighborhoods, too, like Blur Street
West, and Jane Street. I moved around
the city because that just felt normal.
My whole childhood was that my dad could
get treated at any time. So, when I
realized I could have a long future
here, I needed to find a spot to settle,
he said. Nander's always been famously
private about his personal life,
especially when it comes to his real
estate. While it's known that he owns
properties here, the exact locations and
details remain a closely guarded secret.
What we do know though is that after
years of bouncing between hotels,
condos, William has finally put down
roots in the city's most exclusive
neighborhood. Here he's found a sense of
belonging and stability that eluded him
during a childhood spent, moving from
city to city following his father's
hockey career. We do know his apartment
building offers all the luxury amenities
you'd expect. 24-hour concierge to
private gym, an indoor pool, valet
parking, and rooftop terrace with
panoramic zitty views. Based on other
Yorkville residences nearby, his suites
estimated to be worth between $2 and $3
million. Nlander occasionally shares
glimpses of his life in Yorkville on
Instagram, including pics with his dogs
and family set against the backdrop of
the Toronto skyline. He has floor to
ceiling windows and sweeping views of
the city. His open concept living room
is anchored with a modern fireplace and
he has neutral toned furnishings perfect
for unwinding after a big game. It's
said that the design is minimalistic and
possibly even Scandinavian inspired with
wide plank hardwood floors, custom
lights, and he would also have personal
touches like framed hockey memorabilia.
He also has pictures of his dogs, Pablo
and Banksy. The chef's kitchen is sleek
and functional with quartz counters, bar
seating, high-end stainless steel
appliances, matte black cabinets,
designer pendant lights, and a walk-in
pantry. Step onto his private balcony
for breathtaking views of downtown
Toronto, the CN Tower, and the city
lights. Perfect spot for morning coffee
or relaxing with his dogs after a game.
Nelander's home is a reflection of his
Scandinavian style and love of fashion
with modern art and designer accents
throughout. His Instagram stories often
feature his dogs Pablo and Banksy as
well and his love for music and gaming.
In 2025 though, William Nlander is
shining brighter than ever for the Maple
Leafs, leading the team with six goals
and seven assists in just eight playoff
games. He's helping Toronto make
franchise history with multiple 20
series leads in the same postseason for
the first time in over 60 years. He's
become a fan for his clutch
performances, his Willy Sy swagger, and
his unfiltered personality. Whether he's
arriving at the rink in a beige and
white suit, riding the TTC to games, or
walking his dogs through Queens Park,
with his future in Toronto secured,
William Nyliner is embracing everything
the city has to offer. He's often
spotted hosting teammates for game
nights and dinners, exploring
Yorkville's top restaurants, like his
regular spot at Sugo, walking his dogs,
supporting local charities and youth
hockey games, and keeping his feet
firmly on the ground, both literally and
figuratively. As Niner himself puts it,
when it's all said and done, I just want
to be the guy that was on the team that
won the cup for us. Forget about
everything else. That would be the only
thing that would matter. That's why I
signed here. I want to win a
championship more than anything. And
Toronto, after an agonizing 57-year
drought is the best place to do it. It's
the only place to do it. From his luxury
Yorkville apartment to his everyday
adventures in the city, William Nlander
is living proof that sometimes the best
place in the world is just where you
are. If you want more exclusive NHL home
tours, drop your requests in the
comments and don't forget to like and
subscribe for more. I'm Cara the
Vampires Layer. Thanks for watching and
we'll see you in another one. Bye. Hey
everyone, first of all, I want to say a
huge thank you to my 500,000
subscribers. I absolutely love you all
and your support over the years has
meant everything to me. It's kept me
going through the loss of Shirou, the
economy crashing, and lots of other ups
and downs. Now, I have a little favor to
ask. I've created a backup channel for
Famous Entertainment. So, that's going
to be linked in the top comment and the
description box, and this is where I'll
be continuing to bring you the celebrity
real estate videos you know and love.
But this time, I'm going to be bringing
you into my world with personal content.
I live in a historic house, and I love
doing home rens. Well, at least I've
been learning the last year. I have
three dogs. I do daily workouts. We go
to events. You know, there's trips to
the hairdresser sometimes. I also have
three amazing rescue dogs. I've foster
dogs before. I do daily workouts. We go
to events. You know, maybe I'll even
someday have a big wedding that Michael
promised me. Anyways, I've been posting
this stuff for years on Instagram. But
with me having to start all over again,
I'm going to try to merge my personal
content with the content that you come
to watch here, mainly house tours.
Regardless, if you love this channel or
have watched it over the years, I need
your support to get the new channel
going. So, please, if you enjoyed the
content that I've created, hit that
subscribe button for the new channel in
the description box and comments and
check out some of the new videos. It's
super important for me to keep our
amazing community together. And in case
anything happens to the main channel,
this is where you're always going to be
able to find me. We've recently had some
hiccups that have affected both life and
business. So, there is someone trying to
take this channel down. Like I mentioned
before, and I've honestly put so much
work into famous entertainment over the
years, I want to keep my passion for
creating content alive and not let the
drama or bullies bring me down or affect
my ability to work. So, we're starting
fresh, keeping it real, and I promise
you're going to love what's coming next.
So, let's make this backup channel
something incredible together. Subscribe
now and join me on this exciting new
journey. I can't wait to see you there.
