FC Dallas vs. Houston Dynamo FC | Full Match Highlights | A Fiery Texas Derby!

Lucho Acosta with that late arriving run, but it all keys into how quickly can you get Julio isolated in wide areas. Helps keep the game moving at a faster tempo for the Dynamo, and he has that freedom to go and join the three underneath Linger up top. There is the whistle, we are underway. Another Texas Derby tonight in Frisco. FC Dallas and the Houston Dynamo. Both goals scored by defenders as well. Outswinging ball, flicked at the near post and just wide. Brooklyn Reigns, Ortiz was there as well. Just three shots combined between the two sides. Still nothing on target. Artur, delivered out wide. Dorsey cuts it in. Here's a shot, and it's Ibaiga to block it down. Collodi punches it away. Artur nods it out wide. Another header by Nolan Norris. Here comes Anderson Julio. Julio going for it. Anderson Julio touched over the bar. What a save. Jonathan Bond to the rescue for Houston. A good play when he sees it. Julio going for the spectacular. And my goodness, that is so good from Bond to track this, contort his body and know where his goal is to push it up and over. Oh, it would have been one of the best ones we've seen. What a save from Jonathan Bond to keep this game nil-nil. Corners played short. Lucho Acosta now. Top of the area. Pedrino blocks. Romero. And now Shaq Moore fizzles it over the bar. What a chance from FC Dallas. All these long distance efforts have been the way to go over the last 60 seconds. This looks like Jonathan Bond makes another save. He gets a fingertip to it. Numbers on for Houston if they go quick on the near side. McGlynn's asking for it. McGlynn gets it. Jack McGlynn down the line for a mean bossy as his chip is deflected out of play. But was it already out of play first? This is Lucho Acosta. And it's over the bar. You see the supporters here at Toyota Stadium making some noise, banging those drums, waving the flags. Gonna urge their team on to find a goal. Acosta lifts it up. Still loose in the area. Send back towards the corner. Man, Acosta. Lucho Acosta weaving. Acosta's cross blocked again. Linger failed clearance. Balls for Lucho Acosta who lifts it towards goal. Not enough to beat Jonathan Bond. And now 1-1 between Portland and Seattle. Arguably the two biggest rivalries to go today. Couple big ones tomorrow on Sunday Night Soccer. That's been a really good match day 14. Rivalry is always a special one. Shot for distance! What a goal! Jack McGlynn with that cannon of a left foot! One nil Dynamo! Prepares this. That little change of pace as this guy receives it casually. Just gets it out of his feet. Technique is stellar. Drives through it. Leaves his shoulders forward. That thing is moving. It's swerving. It's dipping. Collodi has no chance. Posse again looking centrally. Kowalczyk goes for the curler! And Collodi collects. 20-11. Jeff Cameron scored the lone goal in that game. A one nil win for Houston. It's played into space for Logan Farrington. Farrington cuts it in. Logan Farrington shot blocked. Now from outside the area, another deflection and taken by Jonathan Bond. It's just good defending and it's smart from the center back to affect the play. Dorsey giving go down the line. Griffin Dorsey for Olusanya. Now it's Dorsey again, cutting it in. Griffin Dorsey! Houston flying out to a two nil lead in Frisco! The weight on this pass now. Watch, this is where it's going to get advantageous. Shaq Moore gets tangled up with Dorsey and that creates a 3v2 because the right back is on the ground. He tries to recover, but Dorsey is so smart. Gets the over commitment from Ibiaga. Just reads the hips, drops the shoulder, cuts inside. This is a smart finish. He's a converted right back. Used to be an attacker. Girardi steps it again. Right now Houston, they've been so solid defensively. Acosta weaving his way through. Lucho Acosta saved! Looked like his arm was being pulled as he went to take that shot. I don't see those given as a foul. I would have been okay if Torrey Pencil would have actually called the foul back, even though we got the shot off because that absolutely affected how much Lucho Acosta could get on that strike. Here's a moment. It's taken by Calote. It was Teosi Olusanya. Kamungo trying to get the better of Griffin Dorsey. Cut back. Lifted in looking for Farrington. Cleared away by Bartlow. Out for a Dallas throw. Whistle here, free kick upcoming. If it's just referee to not give him. Comes into the box, back post. That's the kind of night it's been for Dallas. It finds its way out of play. An opportunity at the back post. Would have been a goal for the supporters. Full time tonight from Frisco. The Houston Dynamo take down FC Dallas. Two goals to nil. Their first win in Frisco since 2011.
