Lara Naki GUTMANN (ITA) | Women Free Skating | ISU World Team Trophy | Tokyo 2025

So Team Italy in third place at the moment Never been on the podium at the World Team Trophy Could they this year? The 22 year old from Trento Lara Naki Goodman Helped Team Italy's campaign What a start, had to really check hard for that triple salchow At the end of the combination Fabulous triple lutz at the beginning That's a sequence, what a delay on that double axel Triple toe at the beginning Just doubles out on the flip, first mistake Here's the salchow with the double toe on the end Oh yes Huge elevation on that triple lutz And again on the loop Just beautiful Just that one mistake Doubling out on the flip But the rest of it she fought her way through the program From start to finish Lara Naki Goodman for Team Italy Yeah, she'll be thrilled with that As are they Well the pressure Perhaps was off going into this Because Team Italy in third place at the moment Before Lara's scores come up They're a point ahead of the French team And of course all the French skaters have participated So it's going to be a bronze medal Barring any real upsets For the Italian team That's the toe loop, arm aloft And the double axel on the end Having an easy job of this program Review anything that could be called in real time Double axel on her toe It really is a fabulous event this A chance for the teams to watch each other Normally they've got practices And there's all sorts of things going on So very often they don't get to see their teammates perform And to be able to be all together in an environment like this Is brilliant, isn't it And they're making the most of it Pizzas for everyone So her season's best score 131.43 She got that in the Finlandia Trophy She was just over 120 points at the World Championships 117 at the European Championships She needs, well we know, that 148.94 to go into the team That's not going to happen 124.58 or more would give her second I think she might do it Yes, a huge score, 133.13 It's a season's best for Lara Naki Gutmann for Team Italy Job well done, she goes into second
