Alina URUSHADZE (GEO) | Women Short Program | ISU World Team Trophy | Tokyo 2025

So, to get us underway in the Women's Short Program here at the World Team Trophy in Tokyo, Japan Representing Team Georgia, this is Alina Voroshadze Triple toe again, look down And she pops the axle too, just a single Love the interpretation Loads of innovation there for Alina Voroshadze for Georgia Yeah, that program choreographed by Nikita Mikhailov And what a great job he's done, you can imagine she's had a bit of an input on that as well Now, just to put it into perspective, the two mistakes there, popping the axle You've got to do at least a double axle to get any points And she just did a single, so she gets nothing for that jump pass And then the attempt at the triple salchow, doubling out on that It's got to be a triple jump, that solo jump So she gets nothing for that, and you can see that was short of rotation Technical panel will definitely take a look at that Pretty sure that's going to be an under rotation And there you can see doubling out So, zero points there But I take my hat off to her, she didn't let it affect the rest of the program You can see she just seemed to get too much outside edge going into that axle If you step outside the circle a little bit too much And you get too much outside edge, it's really hard to get off of that outside edge and get the rotation Dressed to kill, the team from Georgia Not a shy bunch, are they? So, 63.10 she got in the Winter Youth Olympic Games That was, what, five years ago? She's not going to be anywhere near that with the mistakes that she's done there It's a shame because it was a lot of fun 38.77, yeah She's still smiling, that's the main thing Great support from the team
