TOP 10 BEST DRESSED AT THE CANNES FILM FESTIVAL 2025! (WEEK 1).

The first week of the Canthium Festival that featured a wide array of movie showings, press tours, and after parties was live at the Palais de Festival in France. And while our celebrities and movie stars from all over the globe showed up to celebrate the art of film, we surely expected them to show up in their most grandeur fashions. Now while some of our faves showed up looking like a fashion disaster, others just truly made a statement in their jaw-dropping looks. So here are the Top 10 Best Dressed Celebrities at the Canthium Festival 2025. Take a look! First up on our Best Dressed list and starting out strong, we have the legend, the icon, the timeless beauty, Angelina Jolie. And for the Canthium Festival at the Edenton premiere, she had on this off-white, lacy, textured, strapless long gown by Brunello Cucinelli from their Fall-Winter 2025 ready-to-wear collection. And she was styled by the amazing Ilia Vanzatto. And you cannot deny that mother actually came to serve the children glamour on the red carpet and guess what? I truly was obsessed with this. Now first of all, just with the new canned nudity rule in place, it's really just hard to know who and who changed their looks last minute, just like we saw with Halle Berry. But even if Miss Angelina did, you can just tell that she still looks like a million bucks in this dress for sure. Now I loved this dress on her. It was very subtle, it was very beautiful, it was very elegant, and it just gave off that very quiet luxury essence. I also just loved that, inasmuch as the silhouette of this dress was more on the simpler side, they still were able to make things very interesting through the texture of this dress. I mean, it had this beautiful lacy pattern feel to it with subtle shimmers. And I just think that just the way the dress fits, just made the look even more enjoyable. Now for styling, Angelina has paired this dress with diamonds from Chopard and shoes from Inglis. And I think that all of this just comes together like it was supposed to. Overall, yes to the dress, yes to the beauty, yes to the glamour. So this look 100% has to be a hot for me. Next up on our list, we have the stunning, stunning Natalie Portman. And for the Cannes Film Festival, at the editing premiere, she had on this custom black and silver stone strapless ball gown by Christian Dior, that was kind of inspired by this look from their fall 1951 gown. And she looks like a literal work of art in this dress for sure. Now the first thing that literally stands out to me about this dress, has to be the stonework detailing that we see on the look. I mean, just the way the dress was fully beaded by hand at the top of the dress, and how the beading just starts to become more artistic, almost fish scale like at the bottom of the dress. It just looks really hot couture and super glamorous. And I absolutely loved it. Now, I love the fit of the dress. It definitely was tailored for Natalie. And I just love the way she has styled up the look with jewelry from Tiffany and Co. Her hair sleek back really complimented the look. And overall, Natalie really brought the glamour and the elegance with this dress on the red carpet. So yeah, this look by Natalie has to be a hot for me. Up next on our list, we have the super cutesy, Hande Erschel. And for the Cannes Film Festival, at the Mission Impossible premiere, she had on this baby pink, strapless, furry long dress by G.M. Battista Valli from their Autumn Winter 2024 couture collection. And she was styled by the super talented Inanke Madeira. And I think this was a pretty stunning dress on the red carpet. And I think she looked really wonderful in it. Now, I love this color on her. There was just something very soft and almost delicate about this baby pink color on her. And I just think she looked really effortless in this dress for sure. I also was really loving the dress and the construction of it. This just seems like something I would expect to see at the Cannes carpet. And so, I truly was loving it. I mean, from the ruching that we see at the top part of the dress, to the ostrich feather detail that we see at the midsection of the dress, to the matching shawl, and then to the ostrich feathers that we see at the ends of the dress. This was truly one dress that gave us the fantasy. And honestly, I really can appreciate that. Now for styling, Henne has paired this dress with emerald jewelry from Pomoletto. And it really just complemented the look beautifully. Henne definitely came to turn heads in this look tonight. And I think she did exactly just that. So, this look has to be a hot for me. Next up on our list, she's shining bright like a diamond. We have the gorgeous, gorgeous Balkis Ahmed. And for the Cannes Film Festival 2025, she had on this blue stone tool strapless ball gown by Oscar de la Renta from their spring summer 2025 couture collection. And she was a star in this dress. You know what? Scratch that. She was a constellation of stars in this dress. And all I can say is that this diva was definitely snatching all of the attention on the red carpet for sure. Now, first of all, she looks really dreamy in this dress. The fit of it was beautiful. But you want to really know what really takes the cake for me? It definitely was the construction detailing and the execution of this dress. I mean, it just had that perfect ball gown silhouette that just made her feel and look like something out of a Disney fairytale movie. And also, just the way the stonework detailing was done onto the base of this tool fabric. It just created such a beautiful gradient effect. And it just seemed really couture for sure. I mean, this dress in itself just reminded me of the sky and the stars. And I just think that it just told one beautiful fashion story. Now, I love this hair and hair. The accessories were also just making a statement. And overall, I can say that Balkis definitely understood the assignment in this look for sure. So yeah, this look by Balkis definitely has to be a hot for me. Up next on our list, we have the effervescent beauty Ariana Greenblatt. And for the Cannes Film Festival at the Edenton premiere, she had on this custom emerald green silk strapless ball gown by Louis Vuitton. And she was styled by the incredible Molly Dixing. And for all we know, she definitely was making the other girlies on this carpet green with envy. Because guess what? This look was just that good. I mean, she looks absolutely fabulous in this shade of green. This look in itself was giving me very rich, elegant, old money. And it was just all so beautiful to watch. I also was just in love with the structure of this dress. This dress in itself was definitely taking up space. And honestly, for the Cannes Film Festival red carpet, this is what I would have come to expect. Now, another thing that really sells this look to me, is the fact that this dress has pockets in it. But it just did not seem out of place. I mean, it just really blends into this look seamlessly. And it just made this look functional and beautiful at the same time. I mean, this look in itself was clean. It definitely was elegant. She looks like money. And honestly, what more could I really ask for? Overall, I think Ariana definitely showed up and showed out with this look for sure. So this look definitely has been a hot for me. Next up on our list, we have the supermodel diva, Irina Shayk. And for the Cannes Film Festival, at the Dossier 137 premiere, she had on this custom black beaded textured strapless long gown by Elie Saab, from their Spring Summer 2025 collection. And once again, this diva has me gagging over her elegance. And all I can really do at this point, is just to stop and stare. Now, Irina has definitely been taking us on a fashion journey with her looks, since day one. I mean, from this black polka dot Armani privé look, that she had on for the opening ceremony, to this black quiet luxury Saint Laurent look, to now this very black widow meet dark queen inspired look. You can definitely tell that even though all these looks were done in black, it still was painting a vivid fashion picture. Now, I love this look on her. The fit of it was to die for. The texture was beautiful. And it just seems like she was a literal work of art in this dress. I mean, the beading, the detailing with the feathers, it all just comes together beautifully. And guess what? I really can appreciate that. I also was loving the styling of the look. It just made the look even more dynamic. And honestly, she gets points for that. Now, this is definitely one diva to watch when it comes to like the fashion for the Cannes red carpet, because she is letting the girls have it. I mean, she definitely has done it once again with the fashion. So, this look has to be a hot for me. Up next on our list, we have the thigh beauty superstar, Veena Purveena Singh. And for the Cannes Film Festival, she had on this black liquid satin ball gown by Michael Sinko. And can we just get a little commotion for this dress? Because this look in itself was literally beyond. Now, this look kind of reminded me of the look that Marina Rai Barbosa had on for last year's Cannes Film Festival. And while I thoroughly enjoyed that look in on itself, this one right here still had me gagged. I mean, this is how you show up in a black dress and make a statement. This look in itself just felt really extravagant. It really was taking up space. It felt so fluid. And I think she was able to just channel that really glamorous essence in this look for sure. Now, I love this dress on her. I love the pleated detailing that we see at the buttocks area. And I just love how it flowed into that ball gown-like silhouette. I also was just loving how simple she has kept the styling of the look. Because this dress in itself was the main event. I mean, Veena definitely did her big one in this dress for sure. So, this look has to be a hot for me. Next up on our list, we have the beautiful Eliane Zhang. And for the Cannes Film Festival 2025, she had on this white silk strapless long gown with floral detailing by Elie Zab from their Spring Summer 2023 collection. And she was just giving off that very old Hollywood glam with this look. And honestly, gave me more of this. Now, I love this color on her. She looks really angelic in it. And I also was obsessed with the detailing that we see on this dress. I mean, the floral embroideries and just the way they were placed onto this fabric was just so stunning to watch. And I just think they were able to make this look really elegant. Now, I love this hair on her. The makeup was eating down. The accessories were a nice touch. And overall, I think Eliane definitely brought the looks and the glamour with this dress. So, yeah. This look by Eliane Zhang has to be a hot for me. Up next on our list, we have the Muslim fashion icon, Rhoda Mohamed. And for the Cannes Film Festival 2025, she had on this pale pink silky long gown by Rizman Rouziani. And the fashion girlie is back, back, back again to reclaim her time. And I think she's just showing us that this thing called fashion, she definitely has it all figured out. I mean, if you've forgotten who this diva is, let me juggle your memory. Because she definitely served us two iconic looks last year and then the year before that. And I just think that coming back this year, I really was excited to see what she was going to bring to the table. And boy oh boy, she did not disappoint me. I mean, I loved everything about this dress. I mean, the craftsmanship just really spoke to me. And I think that Rhoda looks like a goddess in this look for sure. I mean, the fit of it was stellar. The structure was beautiful. And Rhoda is a perfect example of that. You don't need to always show skin or wear the most extravagant dress to create a fashion moment on the red carpet. All you need is a well-tailored, structured dress. And I think that she definitely delivered on that front with this look. Now, her signature hijab was beautiful to watch. And the shoes definitely was a nice touch. I mean, this look by Rhoda definitely had me gagging. It felt super majestic. So it has to be a hot for me. Finally, on our best dress list, we have the ebony queen, the goddess, Flora Cockerell. And for the Cannes Film Festival 2025, she had on this brown super structured top and a pair of matching pants by Joanna Marting from their Spring Summer 2025 Couture Collection. And this look in itself was giving me something very different for this red carpet. But guess what? I quite liked it. Now, I loved this top. I just love how it felt like a splash of water just frozen in time. And I just love the pairing of that with those pants. It just seemed really stylish and very beautiful. And guess what? I absolutely loved it. I mean, hair and makeup was gorge. The shoes was gorge. And overall, I just think that Flora looks really grandeur and beautiful in this dress for sure.
