We are ready for Napoli against Cagliari at the Maradona. Politano corner, Sherry came to punch, Adopo straight to Raspadori who tries his luck and he didn't miss by much. Spinazzola and now Billy Gilmore if he can finish. Politano blazes it over. Politano's cross and here's Rahmani of all people. Rahmani kept out again by Sherry. Politano, Politano's cross, Sherry to Spinazzola. He'll try again here. Still the chances mount up. Politano taking on Augello. Politano delivers. McTominay! Napoli's most valuable player and if he is to be the MVP then Scott McTominay has scored the most significant goal of the season. It's been agony. They've suffered but they lead against Cagliari. Lukaku too strong and quick for Jeremy. Still Lukaku. What a run this is from Romelu Lukaku and surely that does it now. Once a star of a Scudetto winning side under Conte at Inter but now he does it in Naples. Away goes Lukaku again. Mina won't catch him. Lukaku for David Leris and Sherry makes the save. Here goes Mina for Cagliari. De Olla's effort and finally Meret in the 91st minute has to say to make. Napoli are champions again. Antonio Conte proves he is the master at winning Serie A. There could be no doubt McTominay takes the MVP for the best player on the pitch. The best coach Antonio Conte leading Napoli. Napoli are the Serie A winners for 2024-25.
