Hey guys, welcome back to my garden.
And I wanted to share with you guys
how the garden has popped since our last garden tour.
And I'm really excited of all the new blooms
and how beautiful it is here.
So to me, to have a YouTube channels to share with you guys,
and I know you guys asked me to share much more
and I'm trying my best,
but I wanted to share this beautiful vista of this garden
and that is, it's in its full bloom,
I think right about now.
So let's walk around.
So here to my left, your right,
like I always say is the Sally Holmes.
But if we stand on the opposite side of this Arbor,
it is just so gorgeous.
And we have been cutting so many flowers to bring indoors
and it looks amazing to have all these flowers in here,
but look at this view.
Look at these pretty in pink climbing Eden's
and the Sally Holmes.
Look at the spray of blooms.
It is absolutely gorgeous.
And the sun catches the little jewels I have inside.
And when it does, it lights up different prisms
of all these different colors.
And it is so like, just a fantasy.
And like I've told you guys, I love to play music.
So right now I have, I don't have it on right now,
but I have classical music.
That's what I've been into is just listening to that
when I am back here,
because I do feel like I am in a fairy tale land
and my Prince Charming is in there.
So look at the climbing Eden's.
Oh my gosh, you guys, look at this.
Look, she is just so gorgeous.
This is what I've been waiting for.
This is her time to shine in the garden.
And every month I have different student
of rose of the month and this is her this month.
And it's, she is, she's a knockout.
Her beautiful like cream and just that bridal pink color
of her roses, it's magical.
And I'm so glad that I am able to share this with you guys.
Cause this, this is the garden.
This is what you guys want to see.
You guys want to see like all this beautiful stuff.
And I want to just show it with you guys.
I'll share it with you guys.
Cause it's, it's just amazing.
Amazing.
Oh, look at this.
Turn around here, Jade.
Isn't she pretty?
And if you zoom out, you could see all the flowers.
So pretty.
So then we have, so these are starting to fade now.
They were the star of the show last month
and the beautiful, beautiful Cecile Bruner
just the sweetest little delicate rose.
It's such a sweet little rose
but with a powerhouse of fragrance.
And she's done really good in this trellis too.
So she's kind of, we did that vertical canes
going straight across on this one
and all the sprays have come on the top.
And it was such, it was so pretty.
And that's what the climbing rose is.
To get more blooms, I'm noticing you have,
not I'm noticing, I'm, it's common sense
but I guess I didn't have common sense, is to go vertical.
So you have, so you have canes coming up on the top
and you have more of a flush of roses.
Something that wasn't up last time
when I had the garden tour was this beautiful,
oh, look at this one, this one, the sugar moon rose.
And she is the truest white
and another very strong, strong fragrance rose.
I want to say she has almost like a lemon scent.
I don't know, I'm going to smell it guys.
I'm sorry, excuse me.
Makes my mouth water.
She really does.
Oh yes, and Mr. Tortoise, if you guys remember,
Mr. Tortoise is out.
So he's out of hibernation and he loves to eat rose petals.
So that was his early breakfast this morning
was rose petals.
And I usually leave it out here.
So he comes in and out.
So he's having a good morning with his rose feast.
And then I wanted to show you,
do you guys see the coca loca from here?
And the draping, the beautiful weeping
vanilla twist red bud.
I can't wait till this gets really tall, Jade.
And we're able to sit here and then have some shade
and have this as a beautiful backdrop.
Will it look pretty?
Does that look pretty?
The colors are really pretty.
Yeah, the colors are really pretty.
I know, so that's a really good backdrop.
And when that, look at that red bud, oh.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, look at the butterfly.
Look at the boundary butterfly, do you see it?
Oh my gosh, I'm getting so excited about a butterfly.
She's on the tip right here of that branch.
Do you see her?
She almost camouflages with the red bud.
Oh my gosh, I love it.
Isn't it so rewarding when you see all the different insects
and the birds coming to your garden to feast?
You know, you've done something good with your garden.
And that is like the best feeling to me
is to see the butterflies.
I wish I would see more dragonflies,
but I think we don't have enough water.
I'm not sure, but I don't see that many here in this garden,
but the butterflies are just some abundant
and the hummingbirds are abundant here.
And of course, all the bees, I love them.
Huh?
Even though you're allergic.
Even though I'm allergic and I did get,
oh, here's another one.
Oh my gosh, she came right up.
She did, oh, she is, oh, she's another one.
The other one's still on the tree.
I did get stung last couple of weeks ago
and my foot got that big.
It was pretty bad.
Jay said I had a kinkle.
I had a kinkle because I'm really allergic.
Yes, I get really swollen.
And so I have to take Benadryl
and just keep an eye on everything, but it's fine.
It's fine.
As long as I don't die,
that's the way to go in the garden, die in the garden.
It's okay.
But look at the daisies with the ruffles
and then the ruffles of the beautiful dahlias.
And look at all these blooms, you guys.
Oh my gosh, it's gonna be so pretty.
It's gonna be just a sea of petals.
Isn't that pretty?
And if you pan out,
also you get the Veronica's in the background too.
Just want you guys to take a deep breath and look at that
and how pretty that is.
And this here, this forest, what is it?
Oh, the Coco Locos.
Oh, it's so gorgeous.
Do you see, it's like an ombre color.
So it starts with the kind of the...
I'm just looking.
What color would you call that?
Like a taupey?
Like a taupey.
And then it starts with a little bit of pink.
Yes, it is a very vintage color.
And then with the lavender.
I like this one, this color.
Oh yeah, that's more of a faded color,
but it's still really pretty.
They're just so pretty.
Like they just been here for so long.
This is so happy this year.
She has put on so much growth.
This planter here does go all the way down,
so it's not cut off,
but it's just a planter with no cement bottom.
And they are actually doing really good in this area.
Because they keep putting up so much growth
and it makes me very happy.
And it just brings another texture,
another colors to the garden.
And it's just so pretty.
Oh yeah, the leaves are so shiny when they're new.
And look at the tiny little baby heart.
They're like little heart leaves.
Oh, let me see if I can get that.
Oh, she's half a heart.
And my dirty nails.
I'm sorry guys, I have dirty nails
because I'm always, always weeding.
I can never stop weeding.
Everything is really pretty here.
God, I love these cherry blossom begonias.
They just never stop flowering.
They're just always flowering.
They love this area and it's just perfect.
It's against the white fence or the white brick wall.
It's so pretty.
It's such a vibrant pink that it really glows here.
And the flamethrower, I'm waiting for her to turn green.
That's my favorite stage when she has the green leaves
and the red leaves and the orange leaves.
Oh my gosh, I cannot wait.
She's almost there because she's starting to have
more greenery on her leaves.
It's such a beautiful tree.
I never thought I'd love a tree so much.
I like the way the sun's hitting it.
Yeah, she just glows and dances in the sun.
It is autumn until her leaves get green.
And then she looks like summer.
Oh yeah, she was here.
I must've went right by her.
Oh no, she's on the roses.
So now she's on the climbing Eden's.
So the Coco Locos are starting to fade out
because this was our first big flush.
So I'm gonna start, I'm gonna prune these,
have them do another flush
because they continuously bloom.
Watch your step, yes.
And they're so pretty against this.
I'm gonna tell you guys something.
At first, I hated this Iron Gate.
I thought it was the ugliest thing.
However, I love how it's patina now.
I think with all the colors,
it looks like just a really pretty patina rust
and it picks up the colors of the garden and I love it.
And I'm not gonna paint it
because I love the way it looks.
We did buy, I did buy all, oh my mic, let me fix that.
Okay, all these strawberries
and I'm waiting for a raised bed to come in
that we had custom done
that I'm gonna plant these strawberries,
a couple of chilies
and what else were we gonna plant in there, Jade?
We're gonna plant just a couple of little herbs.
So it's about a 36 inch by, 36 inch by four feet,
something like that.
So I'm really excited,
but we're gonna put all these strawberries
or actually, no, I'm wrong.
We're gonna put them here
and we're gonna put them in a long planter
and just have lots of strawberries, the new ones.
Yes, all the new.
And these, yeah, these are the Monrovia ones
and these are the Seascape strawberries
and these are so good.
They were delicious.
So they say that they continuously provide the yield fruit,
which is actually really yummy and they get full sun.
So Jade and the doggies are gonna love, oh, strawberries.
So I'm surprised that Strawberry Blue hasn't seen it yet
or Ocean, but we got lots of strawberries here
and it's just really exciting to come in.
And I wish I had a bigger yard to grow now more fruits
and more vegetables, but it's so rewarding to come in
and harvest from your garden and enjoy that on your,
you know, breakfast or just as a snack in the garden.
It is amazing.
And I do wanna show you, which I'm really excited.
All right, let's come this way.
Oh, there she is.
The Monarch's on the Foxglove now.
The, do you see her?
She's eating the nectar from the Foxglove, from the flower.
I could see her little antenna go in there, antenna.
She's so beautiful.
Okay, I'll have to show you guys
what I'm gonna do with that later.
I know that's, I'm just gonna give you a little quick hint.
It is, did you see that?
She came right by my hair.
Oh my gosh, that was sweet girl.
Okay, so sorry guys, that was amazing.
I got the Monrovia and this is a heavenly, what is it?
Ascent, I think it's a heavenly, yep.
Ascent climbing rose.
And it looks like an Eden, but it's a smaller version.
It only grows to be eight feet tall.
And I have trellises coming in next week
that I wanna put them on.
So I'll have to make a video about that.
And I'm really excited to bring a different element
to actually kind of like fill in this white wall
cause it's too much white.
So we're gonna fill in that wall
and bring up vertical interest.
And I cannot wait cause I think it's gonna look amazing.
And I think you guys are gonna like it.
And then I got that, do you guys remember
when I showed you the Invincible hydrangea?
That's by Proven Winners.
My friend gave that to me and she has put on so much growth
and she has blooms, she has blooms now.
So she's doing really good.
And I'm so excited to just see
that beautiful white flower up there.
And let's go this way, Jade.
And still the hardy geraniums,
the roseannes are doing really well
and the bees are just loving it.
So they are having a morning feast
or a mid afternoon feast, sorry.
What time is it?
Oh, okay, it's something like that.
And let's come to the shade garden.
So I have the hydrangea to the right.
I don't know because it was given to me about four years ago
and I threw away the label.
I don't know what type of smooth hydrangea she is.
So there's two that I don't know.
I thought, that one I definitely don't know
because that was bought for Mother's Day,
was given to me by my mom
and I didn't think she was gonna do well
and she loved it there.
So she's done wonderful.
This one, if you guys could tell me which one it is,
I thought it was an Invincible or Annabelle,
but it is not and I've been told it's not.
So I have no idea.
I think I just bought it without any label,
but I can't remember you guys
because some of these I've had for a while
and I never thought I'd have a YouTube channel
where I had to memorize all the names
or I was just wanting to put things that are beautiful
and that brought me happiness.
But now I wanna share that happiness with you guys.
And then here's a limelight and she is gigantic.
Well, to me, it's gigantic.
She's gotten really big.
She's supposed to get up to eight to 10 feet tall.
So I would love to just have that right here.
Would be so beautiful.
This is her third growing season.
So she's been here for three years,
well, three growing seasons
and she keeps putting on all this growth
and she is just amazing
and so pretty to just see that greenery in the backdrop.
My Ito peonies just finished flowering.
They were really, the buds were really pretty.
I think she gave me two buds this year,
two blooms this year.
They were really pretty peachy color.
This one I'm waiting for
and this is the herbaceous peonies.
Let me look here.
I don't see anything quite yet.
We'll see if we have, I don't see any blooms yet.
But just the greenery is really pretty.
I did sprinkle some Cosmo, the apricot seed.
So I see those are starting to come up.
So I can't wait.
I know, I just remember I just threw them down.
I'm like, let's see if they bloom, but here they come.
So that was the apricot Cosmos that I can't wait.
I think it'll be really pretty back here.
That's a Dahlia.
That's a cafe au lait Dahlia.
By the time this starts to bloom and get high,
that one's gonna fade out
and now it's gonna start dying down.
And then back here, I have the bells of Ireland here.
So that's gonna be really tall,
that spiky chartreuse flowers that are just really pretty
and a different texture
and just a different element to the garden.
Look at that.
Wait, I wanna show you guys.
Look, I gotta stand behind Jade
because it is just amazing.
It's so pretty.
Come this way, right here, right here.
Isn't that gorgeous?
And then my topiaries here.
I'm gonna come around.
So I'm thinking that I might start forming these topiaries
and start selling them.
So I think that's gonna go.
Something that I wanna kind of focus on
is maybe form some beautiful topiaries
and have people enjoying in their gardens too.
So I think that concludes our video as a quick tour,
but I wanted to show you guys these exciting blooms
and how gorgeous, probably behind me.
Could you see behind me, Jade?
I don't want you guys to miss this
because I'm enjoying it every day,
but I want you guys to enjoy it too
because that's why you joined my challenge
to look at these beautiful flowers.
And it brings me so much joy to share it with you guys.
So I hope you guys enjoyed it.
I hope you guys have a wonderful weekend
and thank you for all your sweet comments.
You guys are just so amazing.
As I always say, it's just an amazing community
and I hope you guys have a beautiful day.
May God bless you guys.
Bye-bye, friends.
