The Modernist House that Embraces the Tropical Nature Around It

This residence stands out for the harmonious interaction between architecture and landscaping. The house is composed of different types of housing that intertwine into a single architectural gesture. A square glass volume with a central patio and a base with peripheral concrete retaining walls. This composition made it possible to create independent access for cars, facilitating the management of resident and visitor parking. The glass volume built around the patio houses the social spaces of the house, such as the living room, reception, and dining room. The volumes that cover the mountain redefine its perimeter with a view of the valley and accommodate private bedrooms and living areas. The opposite volume, partially inserted into the ground, supports the pool and outdoor activities with amenities such as a sauna, gym, and barbecue. The only part of the house disconnected from the base, but still embedded in the hill, is a private volume containing guest bedrooms. The interaction between the hill, base, and pavilion patio of the Bella Vista house generates exceptional spatial qualities that are fully intertwined with the surrounding views and gardens.
