Embroidered white rose painting

I started by putting the paint in.
What we're going to do today is the petals of white flowers.
I'm going to connect the long and short stitches and fill the noodles first.
Like the name Long & Short, I'm mixing long and short stitches to fill the noodles.
Don't just go the same length as the one next to it, but keep making it different lengths.
Now I'm working on the first part of the first floor from the outside to the inside.
I'm not going to fill it up to the inside of the 2nd and 3rd floors.
If you leave the inside empty like this, it will look like a watercolor painting if you go with a slightly less filled feeling.
The part I emphasize the most when using the Long & Short technique is the part that holds the grain.
It's much easier to decide the direction you want to go from the outside to the inside first and then fill it up.
When using this technique, I use a little longer thread.
I used to cut about 30 to 50cm, but this time I used a little longer than that.
I'll put it in the needle according to the number of strands and make a knot.
I've posted a video on how to make a knot in the basic video, so I think you can watch it.
I think it would be good to fill it up like this.
Not all leaves are used to fill the design with the Long & Short technique.
If you do it, you'll get a short part.
But I'm going to mix the satin and fill it up.
Now I'm filling in the 2nd and 3rd floors.
I changed the number of strands here.
This is also one of the important tips.
If you make it thick on the outside and thick on the inside, it will look a little rough.
Change the number of strands to make the inside a little softer.
Now I'm putting the seed in the inside.
I'm using gold thread because I want to make it stand out.
There are several types of gold thread.
When filling the surface, I usually use metallic thread.
When I want to make it a little shiny inside, I use rough gold thread.
It can be a little stiff when embroidered, but in the finished work, it will stand out.
It's definitely rough.
Now I'm going to put in the most important technique to make the petals look more three-dimensional.
Cast-on knot
This is because the shape is completely different depending on the direction of floating and walking.
This is also emphasized in class.
I'm going to put in the cast-on part and finish the petals.
Today, I made a white rose.
Today, I only filled it with one color.
Even so, I tried to express the petals that are not so simple by changing the number of strands or not filling them as tightly as they are now.
There are so many ways to express it in a long-shot.
So it's one of my favorite techniques.
Then I'll come back with another pretty flower next time.
So far, I've been Hoai.
