PALACE ENDS A HISTORIC SEASON ｜ Premier League Highlights ｜ Liverpool 1-1 Crystal Palace

Two clubs for whom celebration is in the air. FA Cup winners Crystal Palace travelling to Premier League champions Liverpool for the final day of the 2024-25 campaign. Anfield is a picture of positivity. And now, shown a touch of real respect by the Premier League winners. A special day, not just for Liverpool but for Palace too. The Europa League football awaits next season. Applauded onto the field by their peers. It's a neat turn though. And into the path of Ismail Asar! Crystal Palace lead at Anfield! It just gets better and better. And what a week it's turning into. Kamada clears. Salah, that's a fine ball through. But Henderson saves. And the Crystal Palace number one stands tall yet again. Dean Henderson stands tall again. A real cluster of bodies but Palace emerge with possession. Lofted across, Ismail Asar is there! Kept out by Alisson. Thumped away by Lerma. Kamada chasing, Kamada getting there. Was Kamada brought down? Was Kamada through on goal? What colour will the card be? It's red! Ryan Gravenberch showing a straight red card. In behind now. And Jota! Off the post. Scrambled clear. And now Nunez. Towards the far post. Salah! Deflected it in. Palace undone by the Premier League player of the season. Then he clips it in. And there goes the final whistle. And the curtain comes down on what surely must rank as one of, if not the greatest season in the history of Crystal Palace Football Club.
