Hello again! I actually recently uploaded a hair and makeup routine that was about a month ago,
but the weather changed so much and I also was in LA for a while and also in Miami,
so I got a little bit of a tan. So my makeup routine has got a little upgrade.
Or like, update. It has been updated. Anyways, I bought a few new products in LA at Sephora and
at Glossier, so I haven't... Oh, I just cracked my finger. I actually hate it when people do that.
But yeah, I actually have a lot of new favorite products, so I thought it was time for an updated
Obviously, this is the final look. I would say this is my day-to-day makeup look, besides the eyes.
Like, obviously now I use a little bit of shimmer on my eyes, but I recently wore this makeup look
in a video on TikTok and on my Instagram, and so many people asked for the makeup routine, so
that's why I use it again. And I think it's a really nice, natural but a little bit more elevated
look for a summer evening out. I know it's technically still spring, but the weather has
been so good, so I'm really in the summer mood. So I actually created this golden hour
summer evening look for you guys. But yeah, I hope you guys enjoy these videos. Okay, so let's start.
This is my bare face. I only put on moisturizer this morning. I used the Rode Skin Barrier
Butter Cream, and it's the absolute best cream ever. I'm not exaggerating. Like, I think I literally
can't live without it anymore. But anyways, let's start. Let's first flip my hair.
Let's start with skin prep. I already shared this one before, but I'm still a big fan of it.
It's the Refi... What is it, actually? It's a primer. So when you push it, the product comes out, and
then you can basically just, like, roll it on your face, which feels really good, to be honest. And
it's just, I don't know, such a nice relaxing step. And it also de-puffs your face.
Skin prep is really one of the most important steps in your makeup routine, because this will
really determine whether your makeup will stay the entire day or not. I've said this before,
but it's really important that you let your primer sit in for a while, so it can really
soak into your skin. So definitely wait for, like, one or two minutes before applying your foundation
or your concealer, because if you apply it immediately after applying your primer,
the two consistencies will just mix instead of set on top, if that makes sense. But also,
if you struggle with patchiness or flakiness, it's probably because you didn't prime your face
in the right way. So that being said, I always use this one from Refi, and then I also really
love to apply this glazing milk from Rhodes. It really gives you, like, a super dewy, glowy skin.
So I apply a little bit of this. You can actually also mix this with your foundation. A lot of
people have been mixing this with the Dior stick foundation. I've tried it as well. It's really,
really good. But now, because I'm a little bit more tan, I don't really use any foundation.
I just use concealer. So I'm just applying it to my face directly.
Then I start with my brows. I have two favorite brow products, and it's this Fluff Up Brow Wax
from Benefit. I bought it at Sephora, and I actually bought the small size, because I didn't
know if I would like it as much as I do right now. So I actually love it, so I will definitely
repurchase this one again. But I also really like the brow wax from Refi. It's really, really good.
I actually used to do brow laminations for the longest time, but I don't know, when I see videos
or pictures of me with the brow lamination, it honestly looks so bad. I don't know. But yeah,
I'm just really starting to love my own brows, or like brow shape, or whatever. I still love this
product from Sai. It's the Glowy Super Gel in the color Sun Glow. It's honestly such a good product.
I know the product initially looks very dark, but it literally disappears into your skin. Like,
it's actually super sheer. It just gives you that natural glow and just a little bit of a tan.
Next is concealer, and I'm literally obsessed with the concealers from Merit. I'm not sure
if I'm pronouncing it correctly, but I bought this at Sephora. It's actually not available
in the Netherlands and Belgium for sure, but I know you can buy it in London in the UK. I
actually bought it in two colors. So I have Oak and Sand. Oak is definitely more cool toned and
just lighter. But I bought this one initially, and then I got a little bit more tan, and this
one was actually a little bit too light, so I bought this one. But I actually like to mix both
of them at this point. So I apply this under my eyes, in the corners of my nose, and also here.
Basically just all the areas that I want to highlight or lighten up. Also here in the middle,
and then this one in the color Sand. I apply it in between, a little bit here,
and a little bit over here. I use this little brush from Hourglass. It's so, so good. I get
questions about it all the time. It's not very cheap, but yeah, it's honestly so worth it. It's
a really good brush. So I just will blend this. For a cream-based product, I think this looks
so natural. It literally disappears into your skin, like it melts away. I really feel like
ever since I'm using this concealer, I get so many compliments about my skin.
People really think that my skin just looks flawless, and that I'm not really wearing any
makeup, but the amount of times my doorbell rings is actually insane. And every time I either look
like this, or I have rollers in my hair, or I just look crazy. So yeah, actually since I've been
using this concealer, I get so many compliments about my skin, and people really think I'm just
not wearing any makeup. I'm not wearing foundation, but I am wearing quite some
concealer. But yeah, people can tell, honestly. Then I also bought this Charlotte Tilbury
Airbrush Flawless Finish in a color 2 Medium. I love this product. I think it works so well
with a matte concealer, especially if you don't really like using powders. This one is a great
alternative for just like setting your makeup and just making it more flawless, like the product
says. I just apply it with a big brush very lightly. I basically just apply this on the places where I
put my concealer, like so. I'm still using this Milk Makeup Sculpt Stick in the color Stoked.
I just think this is really the perfect contour color, because it's more cool toned. So I just
place it here, just under my cheekbones. I've said this in my previous video, but just don't go too
far with your contour. It will look kind of crazy. You just want to make the ends of your cheekbones
pop a little bit. I also apply it here to accentuate your jaw and then also my nose.
And then I basically just press it in like this with a brush, and I make upwards motions.
When you use contour to accentuate your jaw, just make sure that you also blend it towards the end
of your neck a little bit, otherwise it will look a little bit crazy. Also when I blend my nose
contour, I always bring it upwards to my eyes or my eyelids. This also makes it look way more natural.
Another product I recently bought in LA at Glossier was this Cloud Paints Seamless
Cheek Color in the color Dune. So it's actually a liquid bronzer, and I just apply it on the back
of my hand like this. And then I use a big brush. This one is from Sai Beauty. I love their brushes.
And then I just apply it like this, and it's so gorgeous. It gives like the most natural,
glowy, and dewy tan. And I just apply this on my forehead, on my cheeks, a little bit on my eyelids,
and on my chin. It's such a lightweight product, like it's a little bit sheer, but it also really
stays the entire day, because with a lot of like liquid blushes and bronzers, I feel like
they disappear after a while. But this one really stays on your face the entire day, and I think it
looks so natural and gorgeous. I also recently started using this bronzer from YSL Beauty. It's the
All Hours Hyper Bronze Bronzing Powder in the color 2, I guess. It's actually really gorgeous.
It's a matte finish, it's a powder, and I think this color is so gorgeous. Like I've really
started to learn to love bronzers that match your skin tone a little bit, like don't go
too dark with your bronzer. This just looks way more natural, and it really looks like you've just
got a fresh tan from the sun. A little bit on my nose as well, and that's all. And then another
product that I bought at Sephora in LA is this Patrick Ta blush. It's like a duo blush.
It's the Double Take Cream and Powder Blush in the color Not Too Much. Guys, I'm literally
obsessed with this product. I think this is literally my favorite makeup product ever.
So it's basically a cream blush and a powder blush. Some people told me that I should first apply
the powder and then the cream on top, but I'm not really sure about that. So I actually apply
the cream blush first and then the powder on top, and it really gives you the most beautiful blurred
out effect, and it literally stays for so long. Like I literally wore this at Coachella every day,
and it stayed the entire day, the entire night, even though I was sweating from the sun.
I look good in every single picture, which is crazy. Usually at the end of the day,
when I look in the mirror or when I look at pictures for myself, I'm just like,
it doesn't look really good anymore, or the makeup doesn't look really good.
But I swear with this blush, like, I don't know, every picture was just amazing.
So actually the same counts for this blush. I feel like this blush color really matches my skin tone,
like it's not too bright or too warm or like too different from my skin color. So it just
looks super natural. I apply this on top of my bronzer or like above, and don't be afraid to go
close to your eyes. It actually creates a really nice effect. This color really gives the most
natural looking flush, I feel like. And then I just apply the powder on top.
I'm usually not the biggest fan of powder blushes, but I don't know, I've been using this powder
blush every day since I got it. It just gives you such a blurred out effect, and your skin just
looks like really, really good. I also apply a little bit on my nose. Okay, let's do my lips
first, because I feel very naked without a good lip. I bought this lip liner at Glossier as well.
Lip line in the color buff. Okay, I need a mirror for this, but basically I just
overline the bottom part and the top part a tiny bit, and then I just follow my natural
lip line. I used to go a little bit overboard with overlining my lips on the side, and
it just looks a little bit weird. So yeah, I just go like this, and then accentuate my cupid's bow.
And then here I overline a little bit,
and then I follow my natural lip line, or whatever you call it. Same applies for here.
I color in my lips just a tiny bit, so the line doesn't look too harsh. This one from
Olly Hendrickson. It's the Pout Preserve Peptide Lip Treatment in Creme Brulee. It tastes so good,
it smells so good as well. But honestly, this is the best shape ever, but this is also
the best lip product ever. Like, especially if you're addicted to using like a lip gloss,
or just a lip treatment, I feel like you're gonna be obsessed with this one. This one literally
stays on your lips for so, so long. Like, there's no other product that stays on your lips for so
long. Like, sometimes I just use it before I go to bed, and I literally wake up with the product
still on my lips. It's actually insane. It's not too sticky, and it moisturizes like crazy.
They're just so good, and oh my god, I wish you could smell this right now. Also, I feel like
this one is just the perfect shade. It really matches my lip liner and just my natural lip
color, but it's still also sheer looking, so it's not too much. So now, let's do the eyes.
I don't do this on a daily base, but I think it's really nice for a more elevated evening look,
to really get like that golden hour effect. And I think it still looks natural. I use this brush
from YSL Beauty, and then I have this eyeshadow palette from YSL Beauty as well. And I actually
go in with this brown color. I don't know if you can really see it, but I use this brown shade,
and then I go in with this sparkly shade. I don't know, it's a little bit like brown-ish.
But yeah, I just use this one first, and I just apply it on top of my eyelids to give it a little
bit more definition. And again, I feel like it still looks very natural, because it kind of
matches my skin tone again. So it doesn't look like a very crazy eyeshadow color. Again, when
I apply this eyeshadow, I bring it a little bit down to my nose to just make it a little bit more
natural. And then I also apply a little bit under my eyes. It will also make your eyes pop a tiny
bit. I feel like my eyes are already popping way more. Then I just use this little brush that comes
with a eyeshadow palette, and I just go in with this sparkly eyeshadow. It's so gorgeous. I don't
know if you guys can see it really good, but... And I always start like in the corners of my eyes,
and then I gently bring it outwards. I'm just trying to really show the effects to you guys,
but I think it looks so good. Like, I really think this is the perfect eyeshadow combo for
a summer evening out. Then eyelashes. Eyelash curler, very important. When I don't have an
eyelash curler with me, I'd rather not wear mascara, because I think it really just doesn't
look good without curled eyelashes. I love a brown mascara, and I'm obsessed with this one from
Clinique. I think brown mascara just looks so much more natural. But again, it really depends
like what kind of look you're going for. But let me think. I think I'm kind of ready. I'm just gonna
finish off with this Kaya Cosmetics Glow Setting Spray. This one is the That Dewy Look
one. And I don't know, I just really, really love their setting sprays. It's hard to explain,
but it's just like it sprays very even, if you get what I'm saying. Because like with a lot of
setting sprays, they just spray too harsh and too, like, centered or something. I don't know
how to explain this, guys. But this one just sprays like super evenly, like, I don't know,
just really nice. And it also smells really good. Okay, one more thing. I was at Coachella
with Sol de Janeiro, and they gave me this Glow Motions Glow Oil. And it's so freaking good and so
gorgeous. So I basically just apply this. I'm not gonna apply too much right now. But look,
it gives you such a beautiful, natural glow and tan as well. Like, you really don't need
fake tan when you use this. And it's also an oil, so it really moisturizes your skin. I'm
just gonna apply a tiny bit on my chest. But I think this is so nice for a summer evening
out, especially when you're on holiday and you just got back from the beach and you're wearing
a beautiful dress. I don't know, I think it just gives you such a beautiful glow. And I actually
wore this at Coachella as well, and I got so many compliments about my skin. And it also smells
amazing. Because like with a lot of, like, fake tan products, like, obviously this is not a fake tan,
but it does give you a little bit of a tan. With a lot of those kinds of products, they just smell
very bad. And this just smells so, so good. And you also just feel, like, moisturized. All right,
let's remove these hair clips. I might have to touch up my hair a little bit. But this is the
final look. I think it looks super glowy, and it really has that golden hour effect. But it still
looks natural, I feel like. So yeah, that was my updated summer makeup routine.
I hope you guys enjoyed it. And thanks for watching again!
