How important is it to get like exposed to bigger numbers,
like get around people who are doing just bigger stuff?
What does that do?
If I, I'll just say this, if I was around you,
if I wasn't around people in the insurance industry,
networking, and everything that's going on,
I would still be sitting at five to $10,000 a month.
Not even $10,000, it'd be $5,000 a month.
Literally, yeah.
If I wasn't getting in the room with other people
like we are doing today,
if I wasn't going to the 8% conferences,
if I wasn't going to the swats,
if I wasn't getting out and going to see people
that are doing what I want to do, right?
Achieving what I really want to achieve,
I wouldn't be where I'm at, right?
Hey, what's up?
Welcome back to the CA Power Player Podcast.
We have one of our power players in the office today.
Hang out for Power Player HQ Day.
Also was on The Ultimate Agent,
which will technically be releasing,
I don't know when we'll release this,
but probably before.
We're releasing the show in October.
Please welcome to the channel Alexander,
or aka Alex Salah.
What's up?
I'm so pumped to be here, man.
What is up, man?
Thank you, dude.
It's been a great day.
It really has been a good day being here.
Good, man.
What's been so good about it?
Getting to Mastermind, I would say,
when we were sitting in that group,
just talking about our business,
what do we want to see,
what do we need to cut out,
what we're doing wrong, you know?
And just kind of elevating our business
is really the main thing for me,
just kind of feeding off of what everyone else does
with their business, kind of putting it into mine.
Yep.
And for those that are new to you,
how old are you again?
19.
And what kind of money are you making?
Right now, AP monthly, about 40,000 monthly.
And you can still elevate.
Correct.
There's levels that I don't know I'm able to achieve yet.
How cool is that?
That's another reason why I'm here,
is that, well, one thing, what was the question?
I don't remember the question offhand,
but it was like, what's something that I need to learn?
That's what the question was.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And I wrote down, I said,
one thing I need to learn is how to prepare myself
to go scale a monthly AP of 100 plus.
I need to know what the steps I need to do
and how to prepare for that.
So that's one thing that I thought of.
I was like, I need to learn how to prepare for that.
You do a bunch of, that's a really good point.
So you do a, we'll brainstorm for a second,
because you do a bunch of door to door and face to face.
Could you do that and still do over 100,000 a month?
I don't know, I don't believe so.
Because, see.
I wonder, too.
Yeah, yeah, so.
A little bit, depending, I mean, yeah,
I mean, you could start,
maybe you sell some bigger cases maybe,
but like overall.
Some big annuities.
Yeah, do you do some annuities now?
I do.
A little bit?
Yeah, me and Jeff have done quite a few actually
together, so yeah, dude.
I'm close, yeah.
Beast.
Dude, he said, he said earlier,
he said literally a second ago when he was in here,
he's like, man, I think he's gonna pass me one day.
I'm like, so he ain't pass you yet?
He's like, oh no, not even close.
I'm like.
Not even close?
Whoa!
Dude, okay.
I'm like, whoa, man!
You guys attest to this.
You heard it, okay?
You heard it.
That's not the question of how do you pass Jeff Milburn,
but.
So what would it look like to go from 40 to 100, right?
You're 19, you're already doing 10 grand a week.
Well, before we get there,
what are you doing to do 10 grand a week?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
At 19.
Which is stupid.
I'm sure a lot of people have said,
how I manage to do 10 grand a week is,
it's really my mindset,
and I've really established in myself
the first six months in the business, Cody.
We've talked a lot about my business and stuff.
I was being lazy, you know,
my head was not where it was supposed to be.
I mean, I was graduating high school,
so I didn't really have a worry in the world, you know?
That was yesterday.
Yeah, I get that a lot, too.
And then, you know, I had a sit-down talk with my dad,
and he's like, what are we doing?
You know, like, what's going on with your business?
I mean, you're making literally no money every week.
I'm making me 300, 400 bucks a week.
Like, what are you doing, man?
And it was a wake-up call for me.
And after that, my mindset kind of flipped
that I need to do something, right?
Because if I'm gonna keep doing what I'm doing,
I'm gonna keep staying where I'm staying, right?
I'm not gonna go places in life, right?
And I'm so grateful for him
and the things that he's put into me,
because he's really helped me take that extra step.
He's awesome, by the way.
Yeah, love him.
And he's really helped me take that extra step,
and now with you, right?
I was able, once my dad helped me with that mindset,
he actually showed me what it looks like to work, right?
So now I was in the office every day,
calling, calling, calling,
what it actually looks like to work.
I was working, but apparently I knew
that I had more levels to my business
that I didn't even know, right?
Because now, once I was at the ultimate agent,
I was like, what am I doing?
I can go produce even at a higher level
than what I was already doing.
I didn't even know I had that, right?
I was so blind to it, you know?
Before pre-ultimate agent, I was writing anywhere
in between, I could say 10 to 20-ish.
Not really 20, I mean, it really wasn't like that,
but probably anywhere between 10 to 15 a month, right?
And I thought I was working.
Which most think is really good.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And just the insurance industry, it's so lucrative
in how many different ways you can help people make money.
But after the ultimate agent, post-ultimate agent,
it was like, dude, there's so many different levels
to this game where people are at.
You know, agency owner, space agent,
wherever you're at, right?
And it really showed myself,
once I stepped out of my comfort zone,
that I can really go do this at a high level
even better than what I was already doing.
Yes.
How important is it to get exposed to bigger numbers,
like get around people who are doing just bigger stuff?
What does that do?
I would just say this.
If I wasn't around you, if I wasn't around people
in the insurance industry networking
and everything that's going on,
I would still be sitting at five to $10,000 a month.
Not even $10,000, it'd be $5,000 a month.
Wow.
Yeah, if I wasn't getting in the room with other people
like we were doing today,
if I wasn't going to the 8% conferences,
if I wasn't going to the SWATs,
if I wasn't getting out and going to see people
that are doing what I wanna do, right?
Achieving what I really wanna achieve,
I wouldn't be where I'm at, right?
So I think it's so important that everyone gets out there
to go do it because it helped me with my business
and it'll sure as heck help you with your business.
100%, yep.
Dude, what would you say to,
and he's like, okay,
like if they said to how many appointments are you running
and selling and how many leads are you buying
and all that to put up 10 grand a week?
So lately, I actually bought my first,
Derek told me he was short on his goal
so I was like, I love Derek, I love you,
I gotta help him out.
So I usually don't buy leads,
I work my whole business off of referrals.
So yeah, I think every client that you sit in front of,
you can gather anywhere between three to eight referrals.
You do a lot of referrals.
Yeah, everything referrals.
The last time I bought leads was actually before Derek,
I bought the recruiting leads from you guys
that are amazing as well.
You recruited like half of them really quick.
It's crazy.
And yeah, so I really don't work my business off of leads,
it's all referrals.
Yeah.
Crazy.
And you can still write 40 grand a month off referrals.
That's incredible.
And how many sells is that normally to get 10 grand?
I mean, well, you're selling different products though.
I'm cross-selling every house, yeah.
So Medicare, ancillary, life.
I would say for 10,000, if I'm cross-selling every house,
anywhere between, closer to 15 apps.
Okay.
Yeah, 15 to 20 apps mainly.
A week?
Yeah, a week.
That's a lot though.
Oh yeah.
That's good.
It's numbers for sure.
Like I said, there's levels to this.
Who knows, right?
Who knows.
What's the next level for you, you think?
I think the next level for me definitely is,
I mean, honestly, I don't know
what the next level is for me.
I think I just need to keep growing.
Everything takes time.
I think good things take time.
So as long as I keep producing at the level I'm producing,
I think within the next year,
I should have a good amount of agents
that are working with me.
And then I should be producing more than I'm producing.
With how many referrals I'm coming,
I'm getting deeper into the nudie space
because I know how much,
how good it is to protect people in that manner
on their investments.
And then obviously the commission
that you can make off of that as well
is a lot larger than making one base sale.
So I'm expanding my knowledge.
I went to, it was called HostU.
It was in Detroit with White Glove.
It's the company that me and my dad do seminars with,
annuity seminars.
So I needed to make sure I got in that room,
just like what we talked about,
getting in the room with these people
because it's gonna help elevate your business, right?
So I went to that event and it helps me
understand annuities better
and how to talk with the client about annuities.
So it was an exciting event, for sure.
There's so much money in annuities, bro.
It's wild.
Crazy.
Is that gonna be the new,
you start really focusing on and adding?
That's something that I've been working on here
the past month is really focus,
because I'm still selling a lot,
live health, that production's there.
I'm just slowly moving into the nudie space right now
because I know how much money's there.
So much opportunity, it's wild.
Yeah, opportunities.
Well, dude, if they're listening,
they're like, man, I want to get to that level too.
Or they just wanna meet you, whatever.
Get an autograph, whatever it may be.
