faster excuse me yeah yeah yeah [Music] and I had a great honor to serve this first city of Florida and it's an incredible honor to be here with all of you and it's beautiful conferences this is an extraordinary panel and this discussion and great work you do for Humanity of the planet and I'm just so impressed I Think We're Dreaming of Twitter and how open you are or whatever when you're doing I think it's a great service to our country in the world and I really am very grateful for to you for that and um maybe a little depressing but we do have an election year coming up and it's incredibly important Politics the world is watching and um fairly important time a lot of the stake and I would love to know if you I'm sure you have a lot going on and I would love to hear something okay we can look forward to hearing from Twitter thank you so much yeah I I mean everything's very important for us investigating United nationally um that we have on that opener trying to platform that's why I think it's the video because and traditional experiency is essential so people know what's going on an audition is suppressed or app and so and and as I mentioned we'll be over the coast uh the repetition algorithm now this will happen element it will be that we the the public found many errors in our current information and the perception of a platform that the public policemen that they can trust them here so I think what we heard today is somebody here my name is Marcus I work in the news media and my question is is you're saying Twitter is where we're going to be getting our information from now on social media is this the end of centralized Publishers boost media we're going into decentralized information here thank you um uh [Music] so you know the citizen journalism is it is essentially decentralized uh news um [Music] Twitter uh pain is strictly for profit office there was someone some other logic behind it and the second question is but can they take a selfie with you uh honestly a selfie is amazing um so you know the the the the issue with the the way that blue checks were headed out historically the Twitter was was um not in a not always a sensible way we're not always in a a good way um and so uh and the same check was given around whether you were sort of government official or uh you know a major company or a person that's not really a distinguish between degree or what a solution I think and a lot of the objects were you know you could have been an internal passable qualification 10 years ago it was a little pushback and then a lot of them were for sale and not not for sale on the dark web I'm talking about why everyone said to everyone around and it was the corruption or as well in terms of pay people on Twitter for blue checks at Wisconsin um and how do we create a within racing the level playing here so that uh like I said the addresses and and uh be a journalist and everything into that and I really want to judge journalism is one of those stories based on the quality of the context of knowledgeable publication that is behind there are some incredibly good individuals who make the committee couldn't get a job out of that age or a newspaper but actually there were three advisors incredibly and physical good so it was really just kind of what they feel good they pronounce the you know you get with like seven thousand dollars it's online but it it gives us the the the idea element of requiring a credit card and a phone number from a recurable carrier and so just this this is a I remember I'm really excitable here but it's it's a necessary defense against bonds so today uh with Advanced AI it has every kind of test towards here so you can actually create on one computer a hundred thousand here because then that that whole sound you can pass every human test so how do you know which one's going through um so effectively if I charge a small amount of money and a requirement of a credit card my phone number we increase the cost of a fake account by literally announced if not fantastic and so and my prediction is that any social media company that does not require a small amount of money it's not your graduation but
