Marcus Rashford SAID THIS to Ruben Amorim & United Teammates after Joining Aston Villa| Man Utd News

Aston Villa have completed the loan signing of Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford. The 27-year-old has joined on a deal until the end of the season, which includes an option to buy for £40m. United sources said the terms mean a minimum of 75% of Rashford's wages will be covered, Villa are not paying a loan fee. Writing on Instagram, Rashford said, I would like to thank Manchester United and Aston Villa for making this loan deal happen. I was lucky to have a few clubs approach me, but Aston Villa was an easy decision. I really admire the way that Aston Villa have been playing this season and the manager's ambitions. I just want to play football and am excited to get started. I wish everyone at Manchester United all the best for the rest of the season. Gennaccio also reacted to the post by wishing Rashford all the best. The academy graduate has made 426 appearances for United since his senior debut against FC Midtjylland in 2016. He has since scored 138 goals and lifted five major trophies. This season Rashford has made 24 appearances and scored seven goals. His last appearance this season came in our 2-1 Europa League win against Victoria Plezen in December. His latest goals came earlier that month with a brace in our 4-0 Premier League win against Everton. His loan exit to Aston Villa came on the penultimate day of the men's January transfer window, hours after United confirmed the signing of 20-year-old Danish defender Patrick Dorgoo from Italian Serie A club Lecce. On Saturday, United announced the arrival of 18-year-old defender Aidan Heaven from Arsenal. Rashford's exit follows the departure of Brazilian forward Anthony on loan to Spanish La Liga side Real Betis earlier in the window. Everyone at Manchester United wishes Marcus good luck.
