Who wants a quickie? Okay, let's have a quickie. A succulent quickie. Yes. So this is my last day.
I was supposed to have already left today, but I didn't get to finish what I need to finish.
Gorgeous. Look at you. Oh my goodness. Chanel. And up the top, I've got this green ionium here,
which is, uh, I can't remember the name. Closmar. Oh, 55. Yeah, but it was a cluster.
So that whole cluster here, so it's still sort of shape, basically. Anyway, I need to water that one.
And also up the top there, I also have this other one here, which I don't know the name,
but it would be something that... Maybach. One of my wanted plants that I finally got.
And anyway, in this quickie, I'm just going to go through the garden. It's like a last quickie
inspection because I need to water all this area. So I haven't watered this for a while.
And so I need to water it before I go because my daughter won't be able to water this.
And so how about that? Let's go water, water, water.
I'm supposed to leave, but I saw this crystal rose that is in need of repotting.
Actually, I have to clean off the mother plant because it's got lots of babies. So I quickly
propagated it. So I've got a whole heap soaking in there. Let's go check. Hang on. I'll get back
to that later on. So these babies here is good enough. So that's the crystal rose. Look how
cute they are. Oh my goodness. Okay. So as promised, this is going to be a quickie video.
Now this one, I am running out of space to put it in here. So I'll just
put that there. Oh, I see that space. So I'll put the leaves over there. So there you go.
All the crystal rose leaves and it's got label and this one as well. I'll just drop them all in here
because I'm doing a quickie. I can't do a longie. Just a quickie. Who likes quickie?
Do you like quickie? A quick bite, a quick dash, a quick rinse, and now a quick
propagation. There you go. I've got all my bags packed and I'm ready to go. Now I'm standing here
pulling oxalis just as a last ditch because the only thing I need to do today is basically
water, water, water, not this area because this is going to be watered by the winter
dew and also I will be getting some rain, I'm sure. And I just saw this, oh my goodness,
jelly jam. Oh, you are so beautiful. Oh my goodness. Ah, look, a quick jam.
So this is going to be a quickie video. Again, I have to quickly look and quickly do this and
quickly do that. Okay. Speaking of quickie now, look at that. My Sedum Alice Evans,
very glinted that is. So this is my regional plant and that has now produced lots of babies.
So behind me is another quick propagation that I've done last night. So this is all growing in
my grow light. Well, half of them, the other half was growing in here and I now put it in this old
coconut coir, just straight coconut coir. So if I go have a peek, look, down in the bottom there,
see this old coconut coir. They can grow in the coconut coir, no problem. Just like this
Ruby Donna. Okay. I need to compare the two. So this is all straight coconut coir. Ooh,
there's a little baby pot growing there. Can you see it in the corner? Anyway,
straight coconut coir. And this one is my Master Succulent Soil Mix. So although
the Master Succulent Soil Mix, hang on, same level. Okay. There you go. That's the difference
of the growth. So that's all, see, I'm not cheating you. There you go. That's the same
level. So the left one is a coconut coir and the right one is Master Succulent Soil Mix and
harvested at the same time from the same plant and grown in the same condition under the grow
light. And then when they produce some pups, I planted them in two separate thingamajigs here
just so. Oh, I didn't put a date. I should have a date. Leaf grown on coconut coir. Oh,
I don't care about the date. I'm just concerned about the medium that was used in growing them.
So, and then that one goes there up the top. And then this one was down there with that real
staining there. But I'll put this one now into here. It'll be more exposed to the sun.
And of course, hang on, I got distracted again. Every time I see something, distraction,
I can't help it. Because it's like they're calling out to me. Did you know that plants
have a language and they're also psychic? Apparently, I was watching this neuro
scientist or physicist or something like that. Something about telekinesis or whatever. So he's
done some studies on plants and apparently succulents or not succulents. I got succulents
in the brain. Plant has psychic abilities. You can actually talk to them telekinetically.
Did I get that right? Yeah. So if I am happy, I seem to find my succulents a little bit more
prep up. Hang on, that one I forgot to spray. Hang on. I have a tiny bit of fungicide left here.
That's good enough. Okay. So as I was saying, when I'm happy, my plant seems to be happy. They have
this certain glow. It's a little bit like a pregnant woman. When a woman is pregnant,
you can see that she's glowing. And that is due to all the hormones that is
running through her body, the changes. Hang on. See, I told you this is a quickie.
So just a last quick effort to see what needs to be attended. And
hang on. I think this one, I don't want to damage it. I'm going to poke it. And this is such a slow
growing plant. So I think I have one, two, three, four, five, six. So I had four originally. And
then now only produced two more babies. And that's almost two and a half years basically.
So anywho, I'm just going to do my watering here. These ones out here are okay because
they're going to get watered. My main concern is not these plants here,
but the ones that are undercover. Undercover. And look. Hello. Something very particular.
During summer, this plant looks terrible. Blackberry. I said something berry. I thought,
look at that. Hey, look at you. So this is my last quickie effort thing to
just oversee the whole thing if anything needs attending to. Because
I don't know when I'm going to be back. I took some plants here yesterday, but I need to
remove all these weeds because they're going to produce some seeds.
And what's going to happen? They are going to invade. Hang on.
Oh, that's a plant. Sorry, Sedum lucidum. I think that's a lucidum.
Or what are you? Nevermind. I'll stick you back in there again. Oops. There you go.
Where'd you go? Okay. So this is my little quickie. So I'm sorry, guys.
I have to, what do you call this? Do this quickly because if I don't, when I come back,
it's going to be chaos. It's going to be all over my plants and then I'm going to have a hard time
removing them. But anyway, this plant here, I think this is King Kong. Something like that.
That is now not very corny looking. It has reverted. See the black? Yeah, I think it is King
Kong. Okay. Nevermind. But anyway, that used to be like black with stripes. There you go. That
one. Oh, look. Wow. Look at this. Glystocactus crested. There's another plant. We get this and
we push this on the side. Oops. Look. A normal one growing on the side. Oh, another one here.
So this one is actually going to die from the frost. So I have to move that.
See, these are the quickies I need to attend to or else they're going to be
quickly dead when I come back. Okay. So now I've secured it here.
This is now undercover. There you go. So she'll be fine there. Now I'm at the front here and these
are succulents that's been growing there for many years. I can't even remember when, but
anyway, these are first hardy plants. So I've got Orion and those are all grown from leaves.
This one. And also that one is grown from seed, but not by me. Now I broke it. Okay.
Where's the stem? Okay. Now that's going to grow bigger and stronger. But anyway,
so different succulents that I planted here that are just stuck in there.
And then I think that one is machete. I'm not too sure anymore what you are, but
opalina. And also this one's here, Francesco Baldi and huge fat opalina. Look at that. Beautiful.
And also blood Maria. And I had a frilly in here that I actually broke off and planted
somewhere else securely. Oh, I forgot to water this. My bristle sprites that I planted.
Terrible. So I just transplanted that there and hopefully when I come back and have lots of baby
bristle sprites, I'm supposed to separate them, but I thought, oh, I just plump it up. See what
happens if they grow, they grow. If they don't, well, just too bad. Now my potato, my potato in
the pot. I have to water it, but this area hardly gets any watering as well. So probably I have to
move that potato somewhere else, but I think the frost will kill it. I'm not too sure.
So because I've been growing potatoes before, but it was on the side of the house that is always
warm and protected. So all throughout the year, I would always have potatoes, but this blueberry,
I was meant to dig it up because I wanted the pot basically. Dig it up and put it on marketplace
for freebies for whoever wants it, because I don't have anywhere to plant it immediately
unless when I come back next end of winter, I can, I can dig it up and plant it somewhere
in the garden once I do what I need to do. But, oh, I can move my, um, what do you call this?
My brain. Oh, something beats. It's not silver beats. Oh my goodness. I can't remember.
My brain is, what's your name? Oh, nevermind. It's those red. Oh, nevermind. I will remember.
Anyway, you see the root gets purple. It's really, really good for you. But I think,
is that silver beat? It's not. Oh my God, my brain. Anyway, and I also managed to
plant all of this and that's why I need to water this. This was growing under the grow light. I'll
come back to you. So just get it wet first. And oh, look how beautiful you are. Gorgeous. What's
your name? Nevermind. Don't have time. Beauty. Something beauty. Bronze beauty. There you go. Oh,
beautiful. Gorgeous. Look at that. Anyway. And this pernilla, look how prolific this
pernilla is growing. And again, this one, you know, all these things I need to do. Oh, parsley.
It's growing back again. And I bought one plant of this. Uh, $25. I paid for it.
I was happy to pay $55. I mean, $25 because it's quite big, but it's grown so many pups. Now I just
have to pull the dry leaves here. And look at the pups. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 9 babies. It's got
nine babies. So from one plant, now it's 10 plants. And if I harvest some more leaves from this,
it will grow more pups. And I'll have more roulette. There you go. There's the name.
There. Roulette. Because I won't write down the names on this one because it's only a quickie.
My lovelies. I was supposed to get rid of that salvia, but did not have time. Well, I did cut
it down and now it's growing back. And then that weed is growing again. I need to get in there
and dig that up anyway. So those pots are supposed to go into here, but do you think I have the time?
No. Being on my own, I will have plenty of time. No, it's because of these dang YouTube videos.
If I stop doing videos or uploading videos, then I will have... Oh, how come you are not as strong?
Then I will have plenty of time basically. Oh, I don't need to water them. These ones I need to.
More propagation. So that's the reason why I don't have any time. And if I go prospecting,
then I'll have less time, isn't it? But I need the prospecting because that is what's going to sustain
me when I retire basically. So gold and gemstones, not so much the gold because I don't find enough
gold, but the gemstones I can tap and make jewelry and that sort of thing. And then I can
use the money to support myself since I don't really want to go back to work for someone else.
I just don't like being told what to do. Although if you tell me what to do, I'm very, very good. I
obey because I can separate jobs from personal stuff. And look what I found. I thought I don't
have any more bluebirds. Now I have the biggest bluebird, so I like to keep watering it to
maintain it. And then little gunny over here. Look how beautiful that is at the back there.
But anywho, even though it's not being given a lot of light because it's at the back there. But
anyway, so these are more of... I harvested my little tangkong, but I still have to water it.
And this kiwi out here and that one there is being protected by scaffolding.
My scaffolding that I'm supposed to use to clean up the top of my house, but did not get
around to doing that. So anyway, I just need to water all of this. That's not going to get
watered. And look how beautiful. Oh my goodness. Beautiful. That's actually from a variegated
purple delight. And purple delight. And that one is super bum. Purple delight,
purple delight, and purple, purple, purple, and also purple delight. Oh my goodness.
Can't even talk. Now anyway, guys, that's all about my quickie. And last, last but not least,
my echeveria freelies. I had secured them. They are now out here protected by this
little bushy green bush. I forgot the name. Foresight. I lost foresight of what it's named.
But anywho, I remember the name before, but now I lost it again. See, that's why my brain is not
really that good lately. So that's why I need to go. I need to go prospecting. So that's one lot
there. That's a one, two, three, four, five, I think, or six, yes, different echeveria freelies
that doesn't handle the frost very well. But if they have some sort of covering, as you can see,
like that, then they can survive. Also on this side as well, to even it out, I've got this one
as well here, and the sun just sort of hits them. But the dew, when the frost sort of settles on
anything down below, it will be spared. So they're not gonna suffer from the frost. They won't get
frozen. Also some more freelies in here that I've already secured. And since putting them here,
they seem to love it, and they seem to just double their size from when I put it here about a month
and a half ago. So anyway, guys, I think the end, it was actually now autumn when I started putting
them out here. So anyway, guys, that's all I've got. And also this Atenowata agave. This is from
my friend Gem, and it actually came from her sister who lives down, okay, over in Sydney.
And she got a cutting, and she actually gave it to me. So that is the last of my Agave Atenowata.
Anyway, guys, that's all I've got for you. I hope you enjoyed this quickie as much as I did.
And off I go. I have to water the back and also some of the front now.
And then tomorrow, I'm gonna say, bon voyage! I'll be off.
