Early in the morning, the teacher, Mrs. Niklas, decorates the classroom and draws colorful
Nikolaus boots on the blackboard.
The children storm into the classroom and marvel at the beautiful decoration.
They embrace their teacher and sit down in their seats.
Like every morning, Mrs. Niklas reads a story to the children.
The children pick up their lunch boxes and have breakfast together while they listen to the story.
But suddenly it knocks on the door.
Nikolaus enters, dressed in a red coat, with a long white beard, a red Nikolaus hat,
a golden staff and a golden book in his hand.
The children cheer and greet Nikolaus.
Nikolaus sits down in the big chair in front of the blackboard.
Then he opens his golden book and reads it to the children.
He tells them about their deeds and praises them for their progress.
The children are proud and shine with joy.
Then he distributes gifts.
Each child receives a bag filled with nuts, apples, tangerines and a chocolate Nikolaus.
The children shout in the choir,
Thank you, dear Nikolaus!
