Welcome back to my backyard pit bike track, where we have a star guest with us today.
Oh, and by the way, today's video is sponsored by Squarespace for marketing tools to analytics.
If you want to go online and build the most unbelievably beautiful website,
Squarespace is the platform for you to do so.
He's come all the way from Sweden to race my pit bike track for the fastest time
against pro riders like Tommy Sell, Billy Bolt on all kinds of bikes.
He's actually come over because he's just joined the Marin mountain bike team
because he's sick on a mountain bike.
We've been filming a video with them for their channel, but he rides a Stark.
Tell me about this bike.
It's a full electric bike and they build it in Spain.
It's really cool bike.
You should enjoy it a lot.
Actually, you had enjoyed it today.
It's insane. How much horsepower does it have?
80 horsepower.
Yeah, completely nuts.
Weighs 118 kilos.
But when you see Eddie ride it, you'll be absolutely blown away.
Now, the current fastest time ever around this track was set by Billy Bolt.
Oh my word, that was insane!
He did it in 36.88.
But it wins a win in my books.
Put it this way, I don't know anyone else that could ride that bike around there that fast.
On a Husqvarna, something 350?
Yeah, 350.
Petrol bikes are two stroke, right?
Yeah.
Almost the same power.
They actually compete head to head in Super Enduro rounds.
So he really, really wants to win this.
And the time was a 36.88 for a complete lap, which starts over there.
You go down over this double, round back, all this technical stuff,
which is just built for a little 125 pit bike, up the step up,
round a flat corner, kind of a rutted up straight, stall wall, left berm,
double, triple, race around the last berm to the finish.
36 is not a lot of seconds.
That's going to be fast.
I'll give you, I'll give you two tries.
Two tries. Yeah. Fair play.
You got this, bro.
There's your start line, bro.
Right, Husqvarna factory rider with a 36.88.
The northerner from Geordie with the current fastest time.
Can Eddie Carlsen from Sweden smash him?
You ready, bro?
Yeah. Three, two, one, go.
Oh, my word.
Come on, bro.
Woo! Already 11 seconds in.
No way.
Jump the whole straight into the step up.
Keeping it low.
Oh, it's really overgrown.
He's slipping around all over the place, completely to flat on the stall wall.
Triple, round the corner.
That was an insane lap.
Wow. How was it for you?
A bit nervous.
Do you want to know your time?
Yeah, sure.
You did it in 38.04.
You've only got to find just over a second.
Honestly, it's so loose compared to when Billy was here
and you're even riding on grass in places.
Yeah. Do you want to have another go?
Yeah, sure. You got this, bro. The last one.
Right, Eddie, I believe in you.
You ready? Three, two, one, go.
He's off.
Oh, this is a heater.
Go on, bro.
Come on.
Now we're talking.
Woo!
He's probably casing out on purpose to brake.
Oh, he's offline.
Looked like he went offline a bit on the really grassy section.
Oh, my word.
Did you go offline there?
Yeah.
And you crashed. Where's the finish line?
You actually crashed over the finish line?
Yeah.
Do you know, what did I say Billy did it in?
36, right? 8.8.
8, yeah.
Even with a really sloppy turn, you did 36.7.
Insane. Yeah.
New MVP, fastest on the leaderboard.
I don't think anyone's going to come and trump that.
Just out of interest, what horsepower are you actually riding it on?
47.
Oh, wow.
So I have a lot more to put, but it's slippery.
Very slippery and it's grassy.
Yeah. So I think it's fair to say you smashed that, bro.
Cool. Here we go.
Stark.
Varg.
36.7.
And that is the new fastest ever Hell Farm device around the track.
And the Stark Varg wins by just two tenths of a second.
Ready, Bolt? Where you at?
Let's do this. Come in. Drop!
No!
We've got some more insane riding coming up from Eddie,
but I just want to take a chance to tell you about some of the amazing features
you have at your disposal while building a website using Squarespace.
So they have AI templates.
OK, what that means is all of the look and feel of your website
can be managed by AI, where you just type in what the function of your website is.
For me, I've always wanted to be a masseuse, so I just type in massage therapy
and it already has an understanding of how that website should look and feel,
which is incredible.
It saves you so much time.
It really is very, very efficient to build a super competitive
and amazing website using those tools.
You can also link your social media accounts directly to the website,
which is awesome, so it can pull from the feeds.
Although a lot of people do marketing through social media
and all of that can appear on your website.
If you want to have a go at building one, you can get a 14 day free trial
and you start that just by hitting the link in my description below.
14 days is so much time to build a website, honestly.
And then when you're ready to launch, you can save 10% off your first purchase,
which could even be a domain name using the code Matt Jones.
So hit that link, go build a website and get get hustling.
This place is so sick.
Where are you going?
We're having like a river down here.
Yeah, let's get, time to get wet, bro.
This is so fun.
Whoa!
If you fall to the top, that's high.
Yeah.
No, no.
Oh, my God.
Completely insane.
Yeah!
No!
Or not.
That's a deep one.
What have you done?
Whoa.
Bro.
Oh, yeah, that was too bad.
Whoa!
If I land like back wheel in a soup, do you think I'll chest the bars hard?
And you need to have some throttle when you land, right?
All right, give it a go.
It's like glorious lava, you know, don't touch the water.
That hurt everything.
That was nice, that was a good old slow-mo.
Oh, that was hard.
Yes!
No way!
That's what you wanted to see.
Oh, joy.
Oh.
So cool.
This is sick.
It's like a tunnel.
Oh, fair play.
Good lad, fair play.
Whoa!
You're going to drown, you're all right.
Yes, he finally got caught out.
Oh, that feels good.
Are you serious? It's like a two-foot lip.
Yeah, bro.
You think I've got it?
Yeah, boy.
Welcome to the Hornadour, bro.
Sorry.
