Welcome to my channel, where I am dedicated to helping you cultivate your inner awareness, find inner peace, and enhance your spiritual potential.
I believe that true transformation and growth begins from within, and I would love to help you begin this journey of self-discovery.
I remember Osho was saying in a video that enlightenment is possible through laziness.
Now, I want to talk about this because we do live in a time where a lot of people are
trying to find the true self. Now, why is it so difficult to find it? And here's my theory.
I think one who has been successfully indoctrinated by the school system or by the whole system
becomes someone who is very insensitive to himself or herself
and also becomes very mechanical and has this constant feeling of having to be practical,
having to be useful. So, you have to have a very good excuse for being unuseful. So,
when you're just resting, let's say you're sitting down and you tell yourself, I'm going to meditate
right now, then you're not meditating to rest, you're meditating to succeed. And I think that
is the very reason why most people who are trying to find the true self are not finding the true
self because they won't feel at peace. They're still meditating for the ego, the ego who wants
to become enlightened through effort. I want to be useful. I will be much more useful if I would be
enlightened. If I would know my true self, I would be so useful. It's like the ego wants to protect
itself by being very useful and it thinks it will be more useful if it has enlightenment.
But once you see through this game, once you see that you have been indoctrinated by the system
that told you that you have to be useful, that you have to do something for a living,
that you're not just enough as you are, that you're not obviously loved because you are,
then it will be very hard to find your true self.
And see, once you understand this, that you can simply be and you don't have to do anything,
what happens is that you don't care about your thoughts anymore. You let them be automatically.
It's not a practice. You allow your emotions to do what they want to do, but you are resting.
So it will become completely obvious that there is something that is
seeing how the energy is moving by itself. So there is something that is still
and is watching the movement. But when you think that you have to meditate
because you need to succeed, because you have to find something, because you have to become better,
then you will be still identified with the movement that it's trying to become.
See, because when you're free, when you find your true self, then all of a sudden you will
kind of like see how everything is corrupt in a way. I don't want to sound so negative,
but in a way it is negative. And there's a reason why the Hinduists say that we are
living in dark times, dark ages. So it is all about coming back to your natural state before
you have been indoctrinated, before you were made to believe that you have to be a particular
someone and you have to grow as that someone to become good enough. So from this belief that you
have to become something, out of that arises the wish to find the true self. Because it feels like
when I'm finding my true self, and it will be a very hard and complicated process, it will take
several lives and it will be so hard to attain it. But once I have it, I will be like a god.
I will be like the glorified version of the Buddha. But it's nothing like that. Just rest.
And when you're resting, when you're not even trying to attain the true self,
you see how everything's happening by itself and in this allowance that it's a form of allowance.
There is something magical that happens because everything is regulating itself by itself.
Your inner circumstances, your feelings regulate themselves. All of a sudden there's like something
that is going on outside of you that at first it can seem negative, it feels like triggering,
but it still has a good outcome because you're no longer standing in the way.
You're no longer trying to become someone. You realize that you already are the absolute.
So when you are abiding as the absolute, the one who doesn't have to accomplish anything
to become something better because it's already the absolute, when you're standing as that,
then everything will just unfold in your favor. Not in the way that the ego would like to define
favor, but it will flow in the direction of joy, peace and love and change, even if change means
to feel the negative energies that you were trying to avoid.
So as you're watching this video, I invite you to truly rest,
not to attain or find something, but to truly just rest. Take this time
out of your day and tell yourself that this is it. There is nothing to become, nothing to attain.
And rest. Most people think they need to have an excuse like you have to be sick,
broken bones or something, unable to walk,
so that you can finally just be without having to be useful. But I invite you to be
absolutely unuseful right now. Do not pursue the path of enlightenment right now. Just be here.
You realize that you are complete. Now, what can happen is that the mind will detect a negative
feeling inside of you. The negative feeling is absolutely okay, it's invited, it's welcome.
It's like you're in an aquarium and the fish, the negativity is like a fish inside of you.
So it doesn't change anything about the fact that it feels negative.
But do not look at it as a problem. Look at it as a kind of an energy that is just floating through
you. And it's allowed to be here, it's allowed to hurt. And feel how things shift, it moves,
it changes. And you're not doing anything. It is almost as if you're internally saying,
I'm not going to do anything right now. Let's see what you're doing.
Talking to God or the universe, see what you're doing.
It's like whenever I'm feeling kind of down when there's a negative energy, I know that when I'm
trying to make it go away with positivity, toxic positivity, just think positive and it will go
away. I know that it doesn't work. So it's almost as if I'm internally saying,
you know, there's negativity, that's a fact. And I'm not responsible for it to go away.
If I'm not touching it, then life itself will do it for me. But only if I'm not touching it.
I want you to come into the same
realization. Be lazy, be completely useless. Maybe even feel the shame that comes with it.
Which means also feel the core of your indoctrination. I'm not saying to be useless
that's happening within. Thoughts come, they go. Feelings come, they go. Movement is happening
without. There is something that is staying effortlessly. That's your true self. And it's
also not separate from the movement. So the mind might say, yes, okay, that's my true self,
but it doesn't bring me anything. It doesn't have any benefits. Because I'm still feeling pain.
Now remember, abiding in it will heal it. It's basically resting. Real rest. So all efforts
to change something on the mental level end, come to an end. Same with the emotional level.
Same with the physical level. This is it. This is the moment.
